Anthony was really nice and helped me a lot. Gave me 20% off of my first purchase which was really nice. I'm excited to get this suit for my first conference at my company. Thank you so much! read more

I was in this store learning about the processes policies and getting my measurements taken when unfortunately we learned of a tragedy within our family. I cannot thank the staff enough for the compassion showed. read more

Excellent customer service. I walked in looking for some new pants for work. I normally hate shopping for clothes. I'm a long time Brooks Brothers wearer (mostly because I don't like to shop) but was looking for something different. Paul was very friendly - he gave me a few different options, let me try on 4 or 5 different pairs and walked me through their different fits. I was out the door with a few pairs of great looking pants ordered in less than 20 minutes. read more

Come here on Sunday to do a second exchange -- sizing just wasn't right the second time. Andrew helped me out and found the right sines immediately. And even when I was waffling between sizes he gave me the feedback i needed to feel comfortable with the correct size. I really appreciated how quick he was to get me sorted out and on the right path with my new suit jacket. Huge props to Andrew. Will absolutely go back. read more

William the store manager is FANTASTIC!!! My fiancé and I came in looking for his suit and William took over and gave us 5 star treatment. Educating us on styles, fits and more! He's also super laidback and easy going which made the experience really fun. We needed up ordering their men's light khaki cotton suit! Can't wait for its arrival and for William to help us style it!! Definitely stop here if you are looking for a fit! read more

I do most of my shopping with them online, their website makes it super friendly but the store is pretty great. Have been in a few times, always get great service even if i am not gonna buy and just want to kill time. If you need new clothes, go in, get all of your measurements and sizes after you try it all on AND THEN you can shop online. Everytime i try a new category and think i know my size i am wrong. They have such unique fits that you need to try it on. Overall its a good store and priced pretty fairly for the quality. Sometime you will find a steal but most of the time its good quality for a good quality price. read more

I stopped in on a Tuesday to test out some of the various fits. Andrew helped try on like 30 items and was super helpful. I'll definetly be picking up more bonobos clothing. read more

First time checking out this place after a friend mentioned it. I came in to purchase a suit as I procrastinated to shop for one & the event I needed it for was in a few days. Condescending tone from when I entered to when I was told they couldn't help me as they didn't have any "ready to wear" suits. The manager sat on one of the tables/displays with his feet up and back towards me, didn't even look up from his phone when addressing my wife and I. I'm not even mad that they couldn't help me and that their turnaround time is about a week, Thats on me as I was late to suit shop. Moreso just the lack of hospitality and customer service considering nobody else was in the store and there was two workers there. read more

Awesome experience- Ash made for an amazing in store experience and I came out with a revamped wardrobe!

Nice design and perfect service to help me find fits!! Thank you so much!! I like to visit there again to get winter clothes!!

My family came here one weekend (me, kids and hubby). We were not greeted even though there was no customer and 2 staff were standing by the counter chatting. I have to say Hi to them and ask if they have time for us to look into clothing (suit). It felt awkward that I have to reach out to be seen that we all walked in the store. I got the vibe that they weren't attentive to us because we probably looked like we were just looking and will not purchase anything anyways or maybe they felt like we can't afford it. My husband needed suits since he had changed jobs and needed suits to go to work. So after sometime we were told by the male staff to come back at 3:30pm. We came back at that 3:30pm as we were told. the male staff from earlier was with a customer and the female staff was by the counter, I reached out to her that we came for the 3:30pm appointment, she was clueless. She realized the male staff didn't place our appointment as we were told. So we waited 15 mins to figure out whether we will be accommodated or not. Another male staff approached us and took us in for what we were looking for. He was very pleasant and we ended up buying $2k worth of clothing. Hubby was very happy with the purchases. I know Bonobos are great with their clothing. But it would also be nice to have cordial staff that doesn't make customers feel like we can't afford to buy just by how we look. We came to the store with simple clothing. #Bonobos please remind staff to not judge the book by its cover. read more

If you desire courteous and knowledgeable service, then Angelica Arce Roldan is your POC. I had a great experience which prompted my family to also purchase several items from the store. read more

My experience at the store - mind blowing! Alex was great in greeting me in and explaining how it works. And from then on, Sophia helped me understand my fit. Bonobos does a great job in having small differences in their fits which makes their sizes fit as good as tailored! Sophia went onto helping me pick the different styles I wanted in my fit segment and the checkout was smooth! Bonobos is my new fab brand and I'll be sure to visit the San Jose guide shop when I visit next! read more

This store rocks! I've never gotten anything but stellar customer service here. This review is specifically for Yazmin who went above and beyond for me for my elopement outfit. With times being uncertain and social distancing making it harder to get out, online ordering has become more the norm. I needed a suit for my impromptu elopement (due to COVID) and hastily ordered what I thought would fit me, but actually did not. Yazmin was extremely prompt in responding and helping me rectify the issue within my tight timeframe! If you need solid-fitting clothes and stellar customer service to help you make better decisions, definitely check this shop out! read more

This place was a great find. Excellent service and ended up ordering several suits and shirts. Happy with the fit and very stylish.

I do most of my Bonobos shopping online (actually just ordered a new polo and dress shirt) but their store is great too. Actually got my wedding jacket here, and the fit is perfect. That's what I love most about Bonobos--the fit options. Each item comes in a variety of sizing options to fit your body/style/etc, which is ideal for me being 6 ft 3 and liking a slimmer fit that is also long enough. This location has a good amount of inventory and if the item you want isn't available in your fit, they can order it and get it to you pretty quickly. Customer service is always on point too--super helpful without being too pushy. A good balance. Big fan. read more

Wasn't impress with the sales associate there. She helped me returned our online order but wasn't understanding our urgency we needed the exchange pants to be here by Saturday because we will be on a trip on Sunday. She just says ok and have a good trip. Like what?! When we were ringing out the exchange she didn't even acknowledge that they don't carry the pants in store and twice I told her we are going to Cabo on Sunday. read more

First time buying a suit and I am so glad I came to Bonobos. James was very attentive and nice. They gave me a rundown on everything including suit etiquette, sizing, styling what more can I ask for!! I would love to come here again for future purchases! read more

Went on a Saturday afternoon when it wasn't busy. The sales associate was accommodating, made great recommendations, and this is a perfect store for people who enjoy the brand. This way, customers don't have to go to the website and buy a bunch of shirts (unsure of their sizes). Win! They don't sell directly from the store anyway (sales made all through the website), so this is an awesome pitstop before customers make their purchases! The sales associate also offered us beer too, but we were in a hurry, so we couldn't stay. Very authentic brand - great quality and service! read more

Hubby needed a spring/summer suit for the (as of now) 3 weddings we have coming up in the next 6 weeks. Samantha was a wonderful and friendly person to work with; knowledgeable and not at all pushy. We saw a suit jacket that we liked that was unfortunately only available in his size on the mannequin; she was kind enough to take it down so DH could try it on and figure out it didn't quite work for him. They also honored the 20% off coupon Bonobos had online, and we got the suit just now on Wednesday (ordered on Saturday). Lovely experience trying on clothes here. read more

Bonobos has changed my husbands life. He's not one who enjoys shopping or likes to suite up but our wedding was coming up and it was time to take him shopping. We happened to be having lunch in Santa Row so I dragged him in. I knew exactly what I wanted for him. We got married in hawaii so I was looking for a more casual suite with a lighter tone of blue and a light weight material (not linen) as it wrinkles and looks terrible in photos, they had just that! I was in disbelief how well everything fit him and I don't think he had ever felt so fitted. Let's just say ever since I introduced him to bonobos there is a swag to him and he keeps going back for more. Thank you bonobos for helping him out for our wedding day. read more

Nice place for sure. Quality clothing. Not enough selection and can't take it home same day though.

Stopped by here shopping for my groom attire after going to three different suit places (Men's wearhouse, Jos A Bank and another location). This was the easiest jacket purchase of my life and one of the most comfortable jackets in my wardrobe. Had to get the sleeves a little altered but other than that it felt like a jacket tailored to my exact dimensions. read more

All I can say was the service William provided was terrible and condescending. Who knew someone could ruin Bonobos reputation.

Came in interested in purchasing a suit. While the fitting was very comprehensive and I liked how everything looked, they kept pressuring me to have them place an order on my behalf (to hit their sales quotas) and I ended up going somewhere else. Their quality of clothes is really good though, so I'll be sticking to buying directly from the Bonobos website and trying on at home from now on read more

Awesome business and casual clothing at a fair price (for upmarket/premium products). Certainly not for everyone, but if you value higher quality jeans and polos and products that will last 5x longer than cheap stuff, this is your place. Shout out to Samantha and her crew in this story, supremely helpful and accommodating. They treat you well, take their time, let you try on whatever you want, and provide water and beer during the process. Can't beat it! Phillip also took mighty good care of my associate, whom I recently introduced to Bonobos and have hooked. Bought my wedding suit from Bonobos San Diego a year ago, best fitting and looking suit I could find on the market, hands down. 3-piece charcoal gray. So many compliments. After that, I started buying more items, getting hooked on the t-shirts, the summer weight polos, and now the shorts and jeans. Great stuff great quality. This location is awesome, fantastic location and staff. Will be back! read more

Dont let the store fool you. From the outside, it seems like a very tiny store; you'll probably feel doubtful that you will find what youre looking for. But have a walk inside, the customer services is top notch. Sophie was a pleasure to work with. I was able to find a wedding suit for my own wedding. They'll measure you, and let you know their suggestions as far as fitment goes, color coordination, materials and everything else that will make you look great. read more

I'm a tee shirt and jeans kind of guy, and since I am getting married soon, I scoured the internet for a suit place that was not traditional, a little on the trendy, fun side. I found exactly the type of suit I was looking for, so I popped in to check it out in person. Harrison was working at the time, and did an awesome job showing me around, getting me sized, worked out all the details, and answered all my questions and concerns very well. This place seemed a little pricey for normal clothes, and isn't really my style, but the suits are exactly what I was looking for, and were comparable to quality suits from other suit stores. I will certainly be back for all my suit needs in the future. Awesome experience! read more

Very excited that a guideshop opened up in Santana Row. I heard of the ones in Palo Alto/New York, etc, but this is so close I had to check it out. They have all the new merchandise ready to try on or check out. The staff was really helpful and they informed me you can do private events there. Free private events!? Yes please. I know they just rolled out the Groomshop where you can get all of your tuxedos for your groomsmen here. Will definitely be back to hang out read more

The manager will watch you as if you cannot spend money in her show. She loves to judge you and does not believe that you can afford her clothing, really sad. Another tip nothing is in show which is okay however if their is a delay in shipping you will not be notified you have to call the store or pray it eventually makes it. Sadly I would go across the street Suitsupply San Jose they are amazing and do not judge you via your clothing. read more

Great shop, great people, great atmosphere. My guideshop experience with Jerad was great. He was super friendly and helpful. He was pretty good at guessing my sizes and was really fast at retrieving clothes. I told him what I wanted when I got there and he pretty much had everything laid out for me. I won't comment too much on the quality of the clothes since this is a review of the guideshop but their products are high quality, extremely well fitting, modern, with a big selection, you definitely get what you pay for. The shop is just incredibly aesthetic and the staff is very fun and friendly. They even had beers and a huge appetizer sampler left over from an event they had earlier. Next time i'm near Santana Row, I will definitely stop by this place and hangout with the staff here. Best customer service I've had in a while. read more

Been shopping here for a few months now. The experience is quite effortless and the products are to my liking as far as visual aesthetic and quality. Great little business model as the tone or theme felt from the store staff/culture is non threatening, very helpful and very customer service friendly. The associates are empowered to handle account issues on the spot giving the consumer further confidence do business there. Chon, has helped me on several occasions. He is very professional and customer focused as he has helped me with several account situations. Chon will also email me as soon as my packages arrive in store. Moreover, he is very transparent and ensures the customer is completely informed about the product and the specials that apply. Highly recommend the Bonobos product along with the Bonobos culture platform. read more

I booked an appointment for Saturday afternoon. I was driving over from Santa Cruz so wanted to make sure that someone was available. Online reservation was easy and one of the staff called straight back to confirm the appointment and ask some questions about what I was interested in. When we arrived the staff already had some items together and a general idea of my size. Peyton was amazing! She helped me pick out a great suit and was extremely patient when I took an age to select a shirt. Unfortunately, they were out of stock of two of the shirts I was interested in however I managed to find someone that worked. They were also offering 20% off for the first purchase which was awesome considering the already reasonable prices. I'll definitely be shopping there again. read more

I went in on a Sat afternoon--Someone offered to help me out right away. The company only takes orders online but has physical locations so that you can try on the clothing and make sure everything fits well. I went in to try on some pants and get measured so that I could order shirts when I decide to. The slim tailored weekday warriors are awesome and I also loved the washed chinos. There was a 20% + free shipping promotion for first time customers which was great. I placed an order with one of the staff and a few hours after I left the store I got an email telling me that my order already shipped--really fast turn around! As far as the staff goes--everyone was cool and helpful--even offered me a beer! read more

I've had excellent service here from Alex at least two times. He did a great job fitting me, providing guidance, and being patient.

I don't write a lot of reviews unless I'm particularly compelled to do so. In this case I feel that the employees have consistently gone above and beyond to help me with my shopping experience; making it much more effortless and much less painful than I'm used to. They made sure I got exactly the right fit. It's great to be able to buy stuff that fits every time. In particular Sophia has helped me several times and is the best! Recently I went in and Zen helped me, and he was also fantastic. read more

Summary of this review: quality goods and quality service. I enjoyed the custom fit of my dress shirts that I bought here, as well as the lovely dress pants I ordered as well. At the time, the retail space was quiet enough that at least three people catered to my needs. Special thanks to Peyton, Samantha, and Phillip. read more
