I went dress shopping here back in August and had an amazing time with Abby!…read more At the start of the appointment, I was able to walk around a little and pick out some dresses that caught my eye. This was so helpful since the other store I went to prior only let me try/ look at dresses that they brought out to me. Throughout the appointment, Abby was so sweet and supportive. I felt like she really listened to me! I had such a great experience and when I had my "yes to the dress" moment, Abby asked to invite the owners and some other associates over to show them the dress, it was such an exciting feeling! After the appointment, some of my bridal party got to try on bridesmaid dresses which made the whole experience so much more fun! I highly recommend Trudy's, especially Abby!!

My fiancé had a business trip to go to and nothing in store peaked our interest until we looked through the booklets. Once we picked it up it was exactly how Luis said it was going to be. The fabric of the tux wasn't cheap, it was good quality and held for the entire trip. Marina at Le Caprice is a lifesaver!…read more I ordered a Vivienne Westwood gown from a very popular bridal shop. When I tried it on during pickup, I knew something was off. It took 3 stylists just to hook the dress together before it could be zipped up. I had not gained any weight since ordering, and the dress felt like it had been ordered a size too small. The stylist who was helping me put on the dress kept reassuring me that the gown had a hard corset, and because it was strapless, it was meant to fit that tightly. Well before my actual wedding, I had my courthouse ceremony... I needed a lot of help to get the dress hooked on, and when it came time to drive to the courthouse, I couldn't even sit up. I had to lean the car seat all the way back in order to make it to the courthouse. The entire afternoon I was so uncomfortable that I didn't even want to drink water. After that experience, I brought my dress to Marina at Le Caprice. She took one look at my back and didn't even bother zipping me up. She assured me that my dress was too small, that it was not just in my head, and offered to remove the zipper and replace it with a corset back! I was nervous because I really loved the top part of my dress and how snatched it made my waist look, but when I received my dress it still looked just as perfect! Not only that, but I was completely comfortable in it when I was sitting and eating at my reception (: Marina was able to complete the alterations super fast at a fair price and I think the corset was elegantly executed. I highly recommend coming to Le Caprice!

I recently visited the Indochino location at Westfield Valley Fair while shopping for several suits…read morefor a new job. I had seen some clearance and sale suits online and wanted to reference those options in-store.   Unfortunately, the initial service I received was very disappointing. The first associate(blonde dyed hair asian worker) I worked with discouraged me from the clearance/sale options by saying they were all made from "cheap" linen material that creases easily, which he said explained the discount. That seemed odd to me, especially since these were Indochino's own products. I later noticed that the sale and clearance options included other fabric blends as well, so the information I was given did not appear to be accurate.   Because I did not feel I was getting helpful guidance, I ended up sitting in the store and placing my order online myself. I purchased approximately $2,000 worth of suits before discounts. During that process, the same associate also suggested that I should buy "nicer" suits because of the job I was starting, which came across as judgmental, unprofessional, and inappropriate.   After I completed the online purchase, he helped me schedule a measuring appointment for 3:00 PM. At that point, another associate assisted me, but the experience still felt disengaged and unhelpful. It seemed like the level of interest dropped once the purchase had already been made online.   The reason I am still giving 2 stars is because another gentleman later stepped in and completely changed the experience. He seemed to recognize that the visit had not gone smoothly, took over the appointment, measured me efficiently, offered helpful insight, and explained how the customizations would affect the final suit. His professionalism and service were excellent and were night-and-day compared to the earlier part of the visit.   Overall, the branding is what made me walk in through the door and I have yet to receive the final product but the customer service experience was very inconsistent. The final associate was great, but the earlier interactions made the visit awkward and frustrating.

Valentina greeted me right away and the whole vibe was super chill from the start. She was really kind, professional, and easy to talk to, which made everything feel comfortable. I'd definitely recommend working with Valentina if you're looking for a personalized and comfortable fitting experience. I'm excited to get my suit! One small note: pricing didn't really come up during the appointment, so I'd suggest bringing up your budget beforehand. I was lucky that it worked out for me, but it's something to keep in mind.

The Black Tux is a tuxedo rental outfit that has teamed up with Nordstrom. It should be noted that…read morethis service is available at most Nordstrom locations, not just this one. (I used the one at Stanford Mall) My my, there certainly are a lot of negative reviews! All I can say is I'm glad I didn't look at Yelp before trying the service myself. I had a very good experience. The best advice I can give is: Don't select your sizes online; Go get fitted in person. An appointment can be made online for the closest Nordstrom, it is free, and it will take 30 minutes of your time. Plus you'll get to see the fabrics up close. For my fitting, I discovered I should actually be wearing a 40R jacket for the tux style I wanted, not the 42L I usually wear. The saleswoman was friendly and very professional. She noted I needed one minor sleeve alteration. A full ten days prior to my event, I received my altered tux in the mail (obviously brand new). It was in the size & midnight blue color I had ordered. They even threw in a tux shirt, though I had not rented one. It all fit like a glove; and I received several compliments at the actual event (along with my wife, who wore a stunning dress). One of the best aspects - I mailed the tux back to them, in the box it came in, and with a prepaid label. No return visits to the store were required. The only issue for me was the tight return period - My event was on a Thursday, so with a 3-day window I had to race to a Fedex location on a Sunday afternoon (before they closed). It was a steep $60/day to miss that deadline. Geez. (Correction per owner comment - it is actually a one-time fee) But yes - I'd rent from them again.
