Let me save you some time by telling you that this place is located inside of a market. I spent way too long driving around the parking structure looking for it. Once I got inside, I was a bit shocked. The market itself is filled with other little booths and stores. It's not very clean inside. Most of the people were not properly wearing their masks. I decided to come here because I was craving macarons. I looked up their reviews and saw so many cute macarons. Do not be fooled. The only macarons that they have available are small plain ones. They look just like the ones you get at Trader Joe's or Sam's Club. I quickly realized that I wasn't interested in their macarons so I started to look around. Nothing caught my attention. I ended up going to Paris Baguette in the same parking lot. If you don't have a specific bread or cake in mind, I'd skip this place. read more

This mom and pop bakery is conveniently located inside the Hanim supermarket. The owners would smile as soon as they see you. I'm not sure if the pastries are freshly made every day because the bread inside the package seems deflated. Some of them even had water condensation. But I guess if you're buying a few of them just to satisfy your appetite, then their baked goods will do. I personally got the taro, red bean and black sesame paste ones. They're quite small but for the price, it's expected. If you're planning to pay with a card, you have to spend over $10. read more

I love this place~! All the baked goods are super yummy and not only that, the couple that own this place are like aunt and uncle, always warm and always super friendly. I always enjoy their packaged breads, whether it's bean paste buns or cream buns or soboro buns. You can't go wrong with anything. Came for a birthday cake for a birthday--they had a good variety of cakes (mocha, vanilla, red velvet, green tea, tiramisu, etc.) in both big and small sizes. We were looking for a wedding cake and was recommended by our friend to this bakery. At first, seeing how it was located inside the market, we were unsure of the quality. But! We were so overwhelmed by the owners! The way he is so passionate about their baked goods and extremely proud of their products, instantly drew us to them. I was looking to buy a birthday cake at Paris Baguette until my husband and I stumbled upon this cute bakery in the market. The cakes were all beautifully decorated and reasonably priced- we decided to go with the green tea flavor. My family loved the flavor and loved that it wasn't too sweet compared to other bakeries. It wasn't just the cake that sold me, but the sweet man (I believe he's the owner) that served us. Even though there was a language barrier, he was so humble and offered my husband and I free pastries for our purchase. We'll definitely be coming back. read more

A bakery that I passed by many times when I did my groceries shopping at Hannam Market. I was looking for a small chestnut cake for my son's birthday but couldn't find one, instead I bought a loaf of chestnut bread and ordered a sweet potatoes cake. The chestnut bread was loaded with chestnut and it had a scrumptious crusty top. My son loved the sweet potatoes cake I got for his birthday! It's fresh, light, not too sweet & very delicious. The owner & staff of this small Korean bakery were very friendly; when I picked up the cake, it's all ready with candles, cake cutting knife & "Happy birthday" sign. Tl;dr -- bakery in supermarket with great pastry and bread options This shop is inside the supermarket and seems to be run by very sweet elderly couple. The supermarket seemed like a great place to walk around as they had other vendors like this inside. Perhaps come if you also need some groceries to save you an extra trip! I came here to get a cake in celebration for a birthday. The cake was beautiful and I was also provided candles, plastic knife, and happy birthday decor for the cake. It was the perfect size that we wouldn't have cake leftover for days. They have two different sizes which definitely helps! I did call ahead for a specific flavor, yet I think that request got lost as they didn't have the flavor I called for in advance. Nonetheless they have a assortment of options in their fridge on display. If it were not for this hiccup I would definitely give this place five stars. The cake was not overbearingly sweet and was enjoyed thoroughly. We also received pastries to taste. Went in to grab a cake for my boyfriend's birthday. The lady was super nice and friendly. She gave me a free bread which is a plus. Cake looks really cute and apparently it also tastes good (did not try it myself but my boyfriend loved it). Price is also definitely reasonable for decently big sized cake costed $28. The man was also super sweet (&the reason I'm writing this review). He packaged everything with so much care & happiness. He even gave us two mocha cream bread haha so cute. I went to a house party featuring korean BBQ and I chose to pick up some Korean appetizers at Market World, a korean supermarket. I hadn't eaten all day and was super hungry. My belly rumbled like the San Andreas fault and I asked myself: "should I eat something before I get to the party?" As I was cruising around the supermarket, I ran into this bakery, which is located by the produce department. Awesome hidden gem! This place carries Asian-style bakery items from flavored breads to cookies to those delicious buns with the sliced hot dog pieces on top. I had only two items: 1) Pizza Bread. This was simply an Asian style "hot dog bread" with a little bit of mozzarella cheese, canned corn, and a little bit of ketchup. Although I realize that I must sound like I'm crazy, this was really delicious. The bread was freshly baked and soft and it had a sweet aftertaste. The salty and sweet flavors just worked for me. Or was it just that I was just really hungry for not eating? All I know is that this really hit the spot. 2) Creme Doughnut. This was a crumb donut with a very subtle creme filling. This was a really good donut. Better than most donut shops. It was fresh, it was flavorful, and the dough had a pleasantly sweet aftertaste. I have to rate this 4 stars because I loved my food and I only spent $2. Is the depth of my love due to my deep hunger? Possibly. Although I wouldn't drive out of my way, I'd be tempted to come back if I were headed to Chino Hills. People....don't hate me for my love of Asian hot dog bread. This place is awesome! The pictures reminded me of a bakery I used to get my cakes from called "Eat Cake". I was so sad when it closed down - anyway, the couple at the place was so sweet. Really small shop in the corner of the market, but I've been really happy with all of the buns I buy here. The strawberry with cream is my favorite (they don't skimp on the strawberry or cream which I've had issues with next door at paris baguette). The breads taste fresh whenever I buy them. Great little Mom & pop bakery inside hanam chain. They made the most delicious two layer cake for our small wedding on short notice since all our plans went out the window due to covid. Very accommodating and most of all probably one of the most delicious, creamy, and soft cake I ever had. They make their own cream and it is AMAZING. I bought a small vanilla cake with white cream and fruit for $22. This bakery has a decent variety of pastries and breads to choose from, and I especially like the custard and cream filled breads. My daughter and I visited the bakery last a few days ago and we were greeted by the friendly owners everyone has mentioned. It's been years since we last visited, but we're always looking for small businesses to support during these challenging times. Since we went around 5:30pm I didn't expect them to have much selection of breads left, but was pleasantly surprised that many different choices were still available. We purchased a good variety of different bread and pastries and the kids loved all of them. Our son's 4th birthday rolled around and we wanted to order a cake for his birthday party at school. I went into the bakery to just grab the cake and the gentleman asked whose birthday it was. I told him it was for my 4 year old son and he asked me if I wanted writing on the cake. So I gave him my son's name and to my surprise, the cake had more fruit decorations and name written on it beautifully.
