My girls and I decided to stop by Bonefish Grill for their Martini Mondays and to try out their Social Hour menu items as well. I absolutely loved the ambience of the restaurant, it's an upscale, casual vibe. We made reservations for 4pm; however, it was practically empty when we arrived. Our server greeted us as soon as we walked in and was super sweet. She brought out bread and water and gave us time to look over the menu. I'm so glad they don't have a cap on how much bread to give their customers because we asked for at least 4-5 loaves. Every time we finished one, we asked for another lol! Their bread is amazing, especially with the olive oil dip!!! I decided on the Blueberry Lemon Drop, along with the Ahi Tuna Wonton Crisps and the Shrimp Toast. The drink was tasty and the food was pretty good. My friend ordered the Shrimp Diablo Linguine and even though it looked flavorful, it lacked all the flavor. Unfortunately, my other friend has a seafood allergy and didn't want to take a chance on eating anything off the menu so she enjoyed the bread and drinks. Needless to say, the food was mediocre at best but I would definitely return for the drinks...and the bread lol. We went to Bonefish grill for their happy hour. They had a few appetizers on the menu for under $10 and a few different drink specials. Our waitress was super nice, attentive, and friendly! Their bread comes with a olive oil and pesto dip and it was pretty good!! My friend got the tuna wontons and shrimp toast and a martini. She liked the drink and it was a good price. We shared the appetizers, the wontons were ok, I liked the sauce on them and the wonton chips. The shrimp toast was soggy, so we didn't eat the bread that came with it. The topping was ok, but lacked flavor. But it did look good !! My diablo shrimp pasta was presented beautifully and looked very appetizing, and it was a special,but it fell flat because it was only spicy with no flavor and it was dry. The waitress did bring me extra sauce but that didn't elevate the flavor, so I tried it with the pesto dipping oil and it helped some. I wasn't happy because while my friend waited for her food I was already served mines first which made it awkward, because I had to wait 10 minutes for the rest of the food to arrive so I could eat with them. In the process of all that the pasta got cold and wasn't appealing. My other friend thought the Santa pants drink she had was good, and we all enjoyed the bread. This was my first time here, so I reached out to the manager and she was very pleasant with the interaction and took accountability for the issues and said she'd speak with the kitchen staff. I didn't want to cause any trouble, just to bring to her attention the experience I had. Although I wasn't impressed with the food, I was happy with the service. I'd definitely like to give them another try, because the ambiance of the restaurant is nice, and I'm sure there are other good options on the menu. Actually I'd give 3.5 stars because our server was great, the restaurant was clean and the music wasn't too loud. It's been a while since we've been to a Bone fish, but I immediately noticed the dressing on the house salad had changed. Today it was a little oilier and less flavorful. I ordered the bang bang shrimp and my husband ordered the bang bang chicken. We both noticed that the BB sauce was very light, almost just drizzled on instead of tossed on both entrees. Bonefish Grill was the perfect spot for a girls' night out. We came in during Social Hour and also took full advantage of their Monday martini and margarita specials -- honestly, such a great deal. For food, I ordered the Ahi Tuna Wonton Crisps and Shrimp Toast, and both were spot-on. Fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing (or not ). Drink-wise, I tried the Key Lime Martini, Winter Cosmo, and Espresso Martini -- all very good, well-balanced, and exactly what you want when you're catching up with friends. Shoutout to our server Kailyn, who was incredibly patient, friendly, and attentive despite our group and multiple rounds of orders. She kept everything flowing smoothly and made the night even more enjoyable. Great vibes, solid food, and a cocktail menu that delivers. We went for Valentine's Day and it was really yummy. Service was fast, bang bang shrimp was suggested and I can see why! I liked the set up of the room, it felt private in our booth. Went here Monday around 4 pm to finally try out the happy hour menu and $5 cocktails special (martinis and margaritas) they're having for a limited time. When we arrived, the restaurant was only full on one half side, but we still had a 10-15 minute wait because they said they wanted to wait for the next shift to arrive. Some of the other guests waiting along with us were getting a little annoyed by this because we saw so many open tables on the other side of the restaurant. Once we were finally sat, our first waitress told us we couldn't order any food off the happy hour menu because we were sitting at a booth table, but when I asked the next waitress that actually served our table, she said we could order from any menu we wanted, with no limitations (except for their max of 4 $5 drinks)....weird we were told something different at first... Our waitress was very attentive and checked in with us a great amount of times during our dining, she was awesome! For food, I had the Bangin chicken (10/10), Beef & cheddar sliders (7/10) the meat was flavorful and good but overall they were a little dry and lacking in some needed sauce, and the Truffle fries (10/10) I loved the sauce that came with it! For drinks, I tried the Strawberry rose sidecar martini (10/10) STRONG!! Def shouldn't have been my first drink to start haha, the Dragon fruit margarita (6/10) it was pretty but I didn't care for it honestly; not strong at all, and the Pomegranate martini (8/10) flavor was decent; it looked different from how I've seen it made at other bonefish grills online though. I couldn't even make it to a 4th drink because the effects of the Strawberry martini were still lingering. Went to our local Bonefish Grill with a large group of 12 friends. Service was excellent considering the size of our group. My wife and I ordered the appetizers of Bang Bang Shrimp and beef pot stickers. Both were abundant, fresh and tasty. Entrees were fish tacos and fresh butter fish. Fish tacos had a great bbq char flavor - would definitely recommend. Wife's butter fish was very fresh but seasoned a little heavy on the old bay. Her vegetables and rice were so overly salted that she had to send back to be cooked with no salt added. Overall I give this restaurant a just ok for food and an excellent for service. read more

Let me start by saying: I didn't hate my experience at Bonefish Grill. But I also didn't immediately start a slow clap for the chef, so here we are... three stars. A solid "you tried" award. First off, the Bang Bang Shrimp came out sizzling with confidence, like it had just hyped itself up in the back saying, "Bro... we're about to change their lives." And honestly? Pretty good. Not "write-a-song-about-it" good, but definitely "text your friend about it if you're bored" good. My server had the energy of someone who's been asked one too many times what the difference is between cod and haddock, so I respect their professionalism. They brought everything out with a smile that said, I will get through this shift if it kills me. The fish itself tasted fine--like it was raised on positive affirmations and filtered water. But the seasoning? Let's just say it was giving "first day of culinary school." Not bad, not great, just... present. And the atmosphere? Dim lighting so you can't fully see your food, which honestly might be a strategy. "Can't judge what you can't see," as the wise say. So my wife and I wanted to try Bonefish Grill last night. ( 6-20-26) We had a reservation for 5:45. Upon arrival we were greeted by the hostess and led to our place to sit. So this waitress comes to the table and says hello, any special occasion and we told her it was our 28th anniversary. She looks at my wife and in what seemed to be a very demeaning manner says " so you've had to put up with him huh?". She never smiled or looked over at me at all so it wasn't like we all laughed at it as a joke. It actually came across as an insult. We were seated to the right side table area as you come in so whoever worked that table area. As far as the food goes it was absolutely delicious but I doubt I will ever go back or recommend to anyone. There's about as much ambiance as IHOP. So when you make your reservation online I don't know why they ask about what the occasion is because it's not like you get something a little extra to commemorate it like maybe a little piece of cake or something like that. Don't even bother to check any of those boxes because it makes no difference and if they did our waitress never said anything more about the fact that it was our anniversary and we picked Bonefish grill over other places only to be insulted by the waitress. read more

I received a gift card for my birthday for Bonefish Grill and decided to check it out. Lately, I have been trying to see if we can get a meal for $25 or less. Impossible....or is it? I went to Bonefish Grill with my lunch pal. The restaurant is beautiful. The ambience is warm and inviting. The booths are large and comfortable. I checked and saw they had a prix fixe lunch menu with options of half pound BFG burger, fish and chips, grilled chicken breast, tacos - with your choice of Bang Bang shrimp, blackened baja fish or blackened chicken. The prix fix menu comes with choice of side salad or cup of soup, signature side dish, main meal and iced tea or Coca Cola products for $14.99 (it's currently 2026). I ordered the corn chowder and crab soup, Bang Bang Shrimp tacos, garlic mash potatoes. Prior to being served my meal our server brought a nice plate of warm bread with an olive oil and herb dipping side. My lunch pal had the corn and crab soup, fish and chips and broccoli. We finished off the bread right away. The soup was great! It had a little bit of crumbled bacon on the top. When my tacos came, I was very pleased. Picking them up to eat had shrimp falling out of the sides. The garlic mashed potatoes were also good but wished I had a little more. My lunch pal enjoyed the entire meal. We received our food quickly and our server was awesome. I will come back for lunch again and I plan on doing dinner. Awesome experience and yes, you can dine for $25. I eat at Bonefish fairly regularly. I order the same thing each time and usually it's great. I've turned several friends onto the place. Today wasn't a good experience. From the walk to the booth through a slippery floor with a "watch your step" sign when there were several other just as direct ways to get to the table that bypassed the wet area, to the server who kept sniffling loud enough to be heard across the restaurant and was clearly suffering from some ailment that made me not want her near me or my food, to the meal that was served where the fish was barely warm and greasy - almost like it had been cooked earlier and reheated by pouring hot grease over it - and the broccoli that I'd been asked if I wanted soft or crunchy (never been asked that before but said I preferred the crunchier so it wasn't overcooked mush) and was served not only mushy but brown chunks like it wasn't even fresh. I was offered a free dessert to take home with me to make up for the bad meal but I turned it down. Not only wasn't I confident the dessert would be edible, I didn't complain because I wanted something for free. I just wanted a good meal and was denied that today. Regardless, I tipped 20% because the meal was not the server's fault. And the fact that she was sick and working near food and customers was the fault of management. It's been years since I have been here but a friend heard about $5 Monday Martini and Margarita. I love a good HH which is what this review is all about. We were sat immediately and Nathan waited on us in the bar area. We got water immediately and he described the specials for us and it's pretty dang good. We went with just 2 Dirty Martinis for $5 each. But they had watermelon, Blueberry Lemon, lemon....I definitely want to go back and try more. The special is through the summer but they might extend it. Get there early because it did fill up and goes to 9pm!!! They call their HH a Social Hour which goes to 6:30. We ordered 2 appetizers and Nathan asked if we wanted bread. Yup...bring the bread...bring the carbs. We ordered the Ahi Tuna Wonton Crisps and the Beef and Ginger Potstickers but it was a tough choice. My favorite was the Tuna. Delicious. Perfectly rare and on won tons....not tortilla chips. The tuna shined and was not overpowered by sauces. $14 and enough for 2. The potstickers were good too. They were a bit hard but I think I prefer mine steamed and fried not just fried. And the sauce....ehhh.....just plain ole soy sauce and not even low sodium. I wish they had taken the time to make a sauce with some sesame oil or chili paste. Those were $11. The bread was good and came with a pesto sauce....not your typical olive oil dip but very good. I would definitely go back. See you next Monday. read more

Was searching yelp for something to eat and it popped up as a feature so I was browsing the menu and remembered how much I loved lily's chicken. I'm eating keto again so it's hard finding good options. It came with potatoes, but I liked that I was able to substitute asparagus instead. I also got broccoli and added a grilled shrimp skewer as well. The veggies were delicious. I had forgotten how much I love their broccoli. Omg. I'll just order a huge plate of that next time. The asparagus was cooked perfectly as well. The goat cheese and spinach on the chicken was so yummy. And I love the grilled shrimp too. Hubby got a burger and fries and a side of bang bang shrimp. Came for their special 4course brunch. I was surprised at the family style seating but it was a great way to interact with others. There was designated staff for those who registered for the event. The first course was tequila bites with a mimosa. The bites and glaze were very tasty. Second course was shrimp and grits with a sunny side up martini. The menu looked like it leaned heavily into seafood dishes, and that event is priced at $70.I'm assuming the price increase is due to the theme and the higher cost of seafood. If you're a fan of Wicked, love seafood, and $70 fits your budget in this economy, I'd definitely recommend making a reservation for that one--it looks like it'll be a fun and delicious experience. We chose here to have my son's 16th birthday dinner as he wanted lobster. We are beyond happy with our visit! We entered and were immediately greeted by the hostess. We were sat at a booth and our waiter Shaun was amazing the entire time! He has such charisma and is super informative on the menu and specials they offer. My son ordered the perfect pairing of lobster tail and the filet and it was cooked perfectly. My husband also got the filet and my daughter and I got the sirloin and I also got a crab cake. The filet melts in your mouth and the lobster is served with a delicious lemon butter and melted in his mouth! The steak and shrimp is seasoned to perfection and cooked beautifully. The crab cakes are delicious as well. You have to try their calamari is my new favorite in the area! To end our meal the birthday boy ordered key lime coconut cake and it was huge and so well worth it!!! The white chocolate cranberry cookies warmed up were amazing! First time going to this restaurant and my last time. We visited during a slow lunch period. Our server's name was Nikki and her service to myself and friend was horrible. She was VERY attentive to the surrounding tables and ignored our table. We only got what we asked for and reminded her of. She offered refills and water and banter with the other tables and ignored us our entire time seated with her. We had the soup and salad and waited close to 30 mins. The food was okay. The blueberry lemon martini was nice I had two and had to wait 20 mins for my second one. The food could have been hotter and served quicker. I usually avoid breaded items but heck, they are so famous. the sauce was tasty but we were disappointed that the shrimp were soggy. We expected a crispy shrimp. We tried the infamous Bang Bang shrimp. Since it was the first time I cannot say if it were as it should have been because we never had it prior . I expected that it would be a crispy shrimp but it was soggy. I failed to see why it was so popular. The shrimp were smaller but plentiful and enough for four to share and we were two . We planned to take them home. The sauce was tasty . I'll never know if the shrimp should have been cripsy. Then we had different entres. i had dinner here Friday evening with my sister and after eating, we both felt nauseous. I had the Salmon which I questioned whether it was undercooked and she had shrimp tacos. She had diarrhea after we got home, My stomach was churning very early Saturday morning and ALL DAY on Saturday through the night and even today, Sunday, I feel nauseous with major diarrhea. We hadn't been to this place in years, but decided to stop for their Happy Hour. I remembered they had a fantastic mussel dish so I wanted to get that. We discovered it wasn't on the menu. We should've sent them immediately back, but we weren't trying to be difficult and thought we would just give them a try. Seriously some of them were the size of peanuts. The potstickers were so hard that they were difficult to eat. Beyond crispy. The bread tasted like it came straight off the shelf at the Harris Teeter nearby....We regretted going there dropping 60 bucks on some pretty disappointing food. And the service was awful. Not a good experience at all last night. Ordered the 7 oz filet medium. Came well done. Asked for a manager. The manager I guess was too busy and didn't come by. Tried to order the salmon instead but was told it wouldn't be quick. By that time my friend was done eating so I said forget about it. It wasn't the server's fault but she felt horrible. For a Friday night (it wasn't full when we first got there) extremely slow service. Was disappointed the manager didn't to visit our table. Service is was great. We got the waitress with a trainer. Both were awesome! My steak was perfectly cooked medium rare. The bread they send out right away was amazing with the herb olive oil. However, myself and my wife were not pleased with her dish that was advertised as shrimp and scallop scampi. Almost every fine dining restaurant I've ever eaten that had a scalloped or shrimp scampi used sea scallops. Now a Mom and pops restaurant might use base scallops but I doubt I'd order something like that from my mom and pop restaurant. I assume being a decent reputable restaurant that they would serve sea scallops. We were unpleasantly surprised that they were base scallops. You would think they would advertise that more prevalently. At any rate we are not satisfied with her dish! My crab and corn chowder it was delicious but was not overwhelmingly supplied with crab meat. That's putting it mildly! I placed a reservation for 8 PM on a Saturday and was seated about 10 minutes early which was nice. The restaurant was not packed. Shortly after being seated you'll receive warm bread paired with a pesto/basil sauce. It was great! If that's not your thing, just request butter. I ordered the Cod Imperial with garlic whipped potatoes and season vegetables, which was broccoli. The sides were flavorful. Personally, I felt my cod was slightly overcooked. I also wish I had more of the seafood cheese topping on my fish. The crushed pineapple martini was great. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice for a date night. It's dim & gives a sophisticated feel. My waitress had another waitress in training. Due to that, the experience felt a little awkward as if there was a heightened attentiveness to get things right and check on us. We've been going to Bonefish for almost 15 years, and it never disappoints. It's one of our go-tos for special occasions, but we've done casual drop-ins as well. I don't drink anymore, but the bar area is beautiful and inviting, and I did meet my hubby there for our first date in 2019. If you didn't get the memo, you MUST try the signature Bang Bang Shrimp. My wife and I chose to visit Bonefish Groll for a Friday night date. We made a reservation for 6:30pm. We were greeted promptly, friendly and professionally upon our arrival. We were sat very quickly, and our drink order was taken right away. Our drinks and bread arrived at the table in several minutes, and we ordered dinner... and this is where the problem started. They brought our meals out in about 15-20 minutes. However, my wife's meal was nothing like what she ordered. We told thecwaitress and she took my wife's plate back butbleft mine. So now, Im sitting there with a plate of hot food but my wife doesnt have a meal. 10-15​ minutes later they bring her plate out. So our date was kind of ruined as we ate separately, shexwanted me to eat while mine was hot but I hayed eating without her. Then she ate while I waited for her. The food was good, but no one apologized, no one offered her another glass of wine while she waited. A manager never checked in with us.This was not a ​good experience at Bonefish Grill.
