Easily one of the best restaurant experiences we've ever had in Myrtle Beach. Honestly, probably the best steak I've ever had. My girlfriend had the bourbon salmon and absolutely loved it. I ordered the filet, and our waitress sold me on trying it with the chimichurri. I told her straight up that I'm normally a medium-well, A1-on-my-steak kind of guy and she recommended getting the chimichurri on the side so I could try it first. She nailed it. It was phenomenal. The filet was incredible, and I think the A1 got a little jealous. Even the bread with the olive oil and pesto was amazing. I completely cleaned my plate, and I genuinely can't remember the last time I did that at a restaurant. The service made the experience even better. The staff was great, and we had some fun Ohio State vs. Michigan banter with our waitress after finding out she was a Michigan fan. As an Ohio State fan, I jokingly scratched through the tip line on the receipt and wrote, "No tips for scUM fans." We did, of course, leave her a $30 cash tip on our $85 bill because she was fantastic. Great food, great service, and just an awesome experience from beginning to end. We raved about the meal the entire ride back to the condo. We'll absolutely be back the next time we're in Myrtle Beach. 10/10. read more

This is a 'Cup of lump crab soup' It's $6.50. Copious amounts of potatoes accompanied by 3-4 pieces of crab. A cup of soup should, in my opinion, be close to that amount of soup. To satisfy my curiosity I whipped out an actual measuring cup and poured the soup from the to-go container it came in to the measuring cup itself and much to my (non) surprise, it's nowhere near a cup. Kinda sad. While their service is exceptional at times, the pricing vs portion for the price charged is WAY out of balance. read more

It's a shame when you leave a restaurant and you're famished. We were going to go someplace else but they were closed on Tuesday 's. We ended up at bonefish grill. I wasn't that hungry so I ordered the potstickers (potato and ginger.). He ordered the chicken Marsala. My potstickers had so much soy sauce (salty) that I could not eat them. He said his chicken Marsala was nothing to write home about. If they are going to put that much soy sauce on them , then they should give you some type of sauce to dip them in. If you see me there, it's a mistake. Stop by and say hello. read more

We stopped in for a quick lunch and it was fantastic. Service was prompt, professional, and friendly. I had the Wednesday bang bang shrimp special. Yum!! And my husband had the soup and salad, which he loved. The bread was perfect with nice crunch and oil dip. We will need to get back to Bonefish soon. Restaurant was clean and seating comfortable. read more

We didn't feel like cooking tonight and hadn't been to Bonefish in a while. The one we used to go to had closed. But there is still 2 others within 45 minutes from us. This one in Surfside, we hadn't visited before. This one was set up differently but still had the comfortable upscale environment we enjoy. Our server, Sarah was alot of fun and Kim hit it off with her right away. We started with our usual Blackberry sangria to prime the pump. Kim ordered the Signature pasta with shrimp and I had the Cod Imperial (see pics for description). She said her pasta was good, but had a little more "Heat" than she usually takes. But she is a hot spice lightweight! My stuffed cod was very good. I was accidentally served an extra serving of garlic mashed potatoes along with my rice instead of broccoli. Not a big deal , the broccoli came out a minute later so I loaded up with extra carbohydrates! My only negative was that the Jasmine rice was a bit undercooked. Some grains were actually a bit crunchy (everyone has bad days). Luckily I received the extra garlic mashed potatoes. Other than that, we like Bonefish and will come back to this location again. read more

Cedar plank salmon with honey burbon and cherry gastric was good but lacked sufficient flavoring. Barely discernable. In addition the order came thru door dash but it was cold. door dash wouldn't do anything about this. read more

I had the bang bang shrimp *chef's kiss*, the Chilean sea bass, which was seasoned and cooked perfectly, I had ordered the lemon butter sauce, however, it was on the side and I was so glad because it did not need it. I also had the broccoli and opted for the potatoes au gratin expecting more of a scalloped style potatoes, wasn't my favorite, but everything else was superb. My server, John B, was very personable and professional and enhanced the experience. He sent me on my way with a piece of cheesecake since I wasn't a fan of the potatoes. Looking forward to enjoying that later. Overall a great experience. read more

Prices on food have increased too much, if you eat there, you are taking a chance on whether food is cooked properly and wine prices have increased and are way too expensive for what you get. read more

Excellent service and consistent wonderful food. When dining in, the wait staff was courteous and very friendly. We ordered the Chilean Sea bass and it was buttery and perfectly cooked. Salmon was moist and the portions were huge. The bread and dipping oil appetizer is so exquisite, it adds the perfect touch to any meal. Even when ordering curbside, our order was perfect, hot and next level delish!! read more

Ridiculously expensive and small portions. Soup and sea bass was 4 ounces at best. One appetizer, 2 cocktails and the sea bass dinner was $90 (including tip) for one person. Service and ambience were both good. This restaurant is an example of another overpriced seafood establishment in the Myrtle Beach area. Won't be back read more

Not sure why, but we both noticed our main course dinners were served on smaller plates than we had become accustomed to. Also missing was the bread and dipping oil. Not sure if these are cost cutting measures, or why, but these subtle changes put a bit of a damper on what we have customarily enjoyed while have a meal at this Bonefish Grill location. read more

The food is great, but not as delicious as it used to be. I think they are using more store products and produce rather than fresh. It must be cheaper to buy, and I understand with the way the economy is now. But the food is great...but not as good as it used to be. But more expensive anyways. I love the sea bass with mango. It's wonderful! Servers are always nice and the establishment is clean. read more

Great place for a later dinner. Hannah was our server and she was great. Answered a few questions about the apps we decided on. Hadda try the Bang Bang Shrimp. It was very good but not great. We did get our sauce on the side as Hannah said it was a bit spicy. Nice ambiance. Quiet. We sat in the bar area and I believe that all of the employees wore masks, important these days even if many people don't get it. Will definitely return next time we're in town!!! read more

Three course special is worth every penny. I got cod and Mac and cheese with coleslaw, it was truly enjoying. I finished up with the brownie for dessert, which I would truly do again. Bonefish is one of the best chains around and we usually prefer local spots to chains. The chicken and fish here is cooked to perfection and i definitely recommend this place! DON'T ORDER FILET MIGNON. My wife and I went to this restaurant while we were vacationing in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. We wanted filet mignon, even though this restaurant specializes in seafood. We asked the waitress if it was possible to get center cut filet mignon, which is the best part of the beef tenderloin. This apparently young and inexperienced waitress told us that she would need to check with the cook to see if that was possible. The waitress returned in a few minutes and told us that she believed that it was possible to get a center cut of fillet mignon. Based on her response to our question, we went ahead and both ordered filet mignon. Approximately 20 minutes later, we were served our steaks. My steak was thin and tough, while my wife's steak was full of fat and silver skin. As I began eating my steak, I started to believe that perhaps there was a mixup with my order, as it had been handled by the waitress and/or the cook. We both finished our steaks, although neither one of us was pleased with the quality of the meat we were served. I asked to speak to the manager and was assertively addressed by an unapologetic young woman who basically took issue with every comment I made. She stated that Bonefish Grill does NOT fabricate their own beef products and that they buy them precut from a food service supplier. Consequently, it is not possible to be served a center cut of filet mignon. When I asked the manager how it happened that my wife and I were both told that we would be getting a center cut of filet mignon, the manager basically avoided addressing the question. I told her I would like to know how the problem transpired, and after much foot dragging, she agreed to investigate. The manager returned a few minutes later and indicated that the waitress misunderstood what the cook had told her regarding the availability of a center cut of filet mignon. Throughout this verbal exchange, the manager basically took the posture that she and her staff had done nothing wrong. Neither my wife nor I recall hearing her say that she was sorry about what had transpired. To the manager's benefit, I will state for the record that she did not charge us anything for our meals (which I had earlier told her was not the response that I was seeking). Conversely, I felt nothing polite, courteous, nor respectful about her response to our disappointing dinner at Bonefish Grill. read more

It's fairly consistent and competitively priced. I've previously reviewed this chain place. Sometimes it's an off night... usually predictable. We were there last evening around 4;00. We both had wine and a fish dish.... We prefer it to Landry's. It's also in a group with Caraba's and another place I can't complain. The bar tenders are personable and the service is good. We usually if just us two sit at a he bar. They have some happy hour offerings, not as good as pre Covid. Everyone has raised prices. This economy sucks now. 4/3/23. read more

Decent food and no wait for dinner. Made a reservation ahead of time and would recommend doing the same since many restaurants are hurting for help and are trying their best. Not sure what has happened to this location but stay away. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because our server was lovely and very nice. I first went in where the hostess was clearly high on something. It was a Wednesday and they were not busy. I told the hostess I had a party of 2 and she needed to speak with the manager. When she came back she didn't remember speaking to me and asked me if I had reservations again. When I told her no for the second time she told me "that's a problem" and when I asked her what the wait would be I lie you not that she looked at me with a very concerned face and said 15 minutes. Not sure what the problem was but ok. It didn't take long to get to our seat and the rest of the night was disappointing. We got the staple bang bang shrimp as an appetizer for it to come out over cooked and only slightly drizzled with bang bang sauce vs being covered. The most amusing thing was my husband and I ordered the same thing, filet and crab cake only my steak was rare and his was medium. They brought us the plates and someone from the kitchen ran to our table and did a side by side view of our steaks analyzing which plate should go where. When my husband and I both cut into it they literally were both cooked the same. Also I should mention that we ordered the filet for them to give us big sirloins instead (I think they thought we were stupid). The flavor on them was nice so we ate them as is because my husband and I don't like sending stuff back and making a scene. Our crab cakes were falling apart and didn't have enough bread to hold them together. As mentioned it was one big disappointment. I really miss my local bonefish that unfortunately closed due to covid. I was very excited to see this location and was looking forward to my favorites. unfortunately this was no where close to what bonefish standards typically land. read more
