The complimentary bread was very good but we noticed the Margaritas were now in much smaller glasses but very good. The Bang Bang shrimp was good and on Wednesday is only 6 dollars. The sliders were just ok nothing special. This location is very nice and the staff is great. Only problem is finding a parking space. read more

Favorite Bonefish Grill location. The service (inside, outside or in the bar area) is always friendly and food consistently good. This location has a nice evening ambiance/decor/lighting but it's a lively vibe. They have bar seating, two long hi-top communal tables, a few booths and an open dining room area. There's a handful of hi-top tables outside too. It's a popular spot. You may have trouble finding a parking spot and/or have a bit of a wait time for a table during certain days/times. They do have a few nice benches with pillows in the covered outside area if you find yourself with a wait time. Having visited this location on & off since it opened, I've worked my way through many menu items. I usually order off the regular menu but on occasion something on the specials menu will catch my eye. They do have happy hour bites and libations. I regret to report an utterly disappointing experience this evening. Despite having a reservation for 8 pm with my family, we encountered a series of frustrating setbacks upon arrival. Despite assurances that our table would be ready shortly, we were left waiting for 25 minutes with minimal communication from the staff. Upon finally being seated, the table provided was woefully inadequate for our party of 5 adults and 2 children, demonstrating a complete disregard for our reservation and needs. Rather than offering solutions, the staff exhibited a dismissive attitude when we voiced our valid concerns. Even simple requests for a different table were met with resistance, further exacerbating our frustration. The open discussion among the hostesses only served to highlight the lack of professionalism and courtesy we encountered. Despite attempting to find a resolution with the bartender's assistance, the situation only escalated, culminating in our decision to dine elsewhere after enduring 45 minutes of disappointment and rudeness. This experience is particularly disheartening considering our longstanding patronage of Bonefish, spanning over a decade, for special occasions such as birthdays and Mother's Day. Regrettably, due to the evident lack of training and professionalism displayed by your staff, our Mother's Day celebration was marred, leaving a bitter taste in our mouths. As a result, we have no intention of returning to your establishment and will not hesitate to dissuade others from doing so in the future. Even though I don't eat seafood, this is still one of my favorite restaurants in Plantation? I have dined here on several occasions & the service is always top notch. The setting is very upscale & classy. They have tables, booths, with indoor & outdoor seating. The full service bar is a great place to have a drink and/or appetizer while waiting for a table.....and it's a popular place so there is often a wait. (Especially on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings.) The meals come with their freshly baked bread & olive oil. They also have a large appetizer selection. Many are seafood, but I tried the broccoli bites last time I was there, and they were quite good. There are numerous seafood entrees with a few salads, chicken, and steak items mixed in. I have never had a bad meal here! They also have special discounted menus on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. They also see serve brunch on Sundays; and I recently dined at Bonefish with my family for brunch on Easter. Bonefish hassome original brunch entrees and the bottomless mango mimosas were delicious! I am so sad that I lost my food pictures; but take it from me....everything was delicious. The only complaint; parking can be pretty hard to come by, so my tip is arrive early! Visited Bonefish again; this tune for happy hour. They have great specials on drinks from 4:30-6:30 on weekdays. They also have $6 bar bites. I had a burger for dinner and it was pretty good. We came here for a quick bite after a show. I personally hate going to a restaurant near closing time, but we had 30 minutes before they closed. The server was fast and efficient in getting our order. We already knew that we wanted some appetizers and dessert. We sat in the bar area which had some high top tables as well as booths. Bonefish is known for their bang bang shrimp appetizer which never disappoints. This was pretty good like always. My side of garlic mash potatoes was just ok. The dessert which is my favorite here is the warm macadamia nut brownie with ice cream. It's a decadent dessert with drizzle of raspberry sauce. So good. I have been regular at this place for 4 years now and would have recommended a dirty martini with blue cheese stuff olives to start. However, I am not sure I can recommend this place anymore This service has seriously gone downhill. Before covid hit, the drinks were usually good but the food had been hit or miss the last few times (brunch and dinner). Recently, I ordered my usual chilean sea bass with vegetables and macaroni; unfortunately it missed the mark. The veggies were soggy and they sent me the small portion instead of the regular portion. The macaroni was the only bright spot. When I called the store to dispute the smaller portion I received, the managing partner told me there was nothing she could do for me despite my offers to send her a picture or drive over with the dish. 1/30/2018 - Always had a pleasant dining experience at this location. So, I was excited to return. We walked in around 6:30 with no reservation and were told there would be a 35 minute wait. No problem, we just sat at the bar and ordered their house chardonnay ($4) from Brandon H. as they were still offering Happy Hour. Our buzzer started lighting up and we paid the tab at the bar and preceded to go to our table. Our server, I believe his name was Jason introduced himself and asked if we wanted something to drink or order an appetizer. We told him we needed a few minutes but to bring just iced water. He brought us waters and bread. He left and didn't return for a while. We thought he forgot about us, we started looking around. Finally, he came to our table and by this time we knew what we wanted for appetizer and dinner. We ordered the Classic Ceviche, a Peruvian-style ceviche, with hand-cut fish, bay scallops and sweet shrimp marinated in citrus, served with seasoned tortilla chips. It was a pretty good dish, not a lot of seafood, nicely marinated and I liked the seasoned tortilla chips. But, I would still go to an authentic Peruvian restaurant for a real classic ceviche. We were half way through the dish and the entrees came out. They came out very fast. Once the server put the plate down, I was absolutely disgusted at my meal. I had ordered the Ahi-tuna Steak with 2 sides, green beans and broccoli. The plate was extremely dirty, the food was sloppy plated. The broccoli was a mush. I looked at the other plate and the broccoli looked perfectly cooked. Both plates were dirty (see pictures). I had a bite of the tuna and it was cold and hard. The green beans were hard. I could not have been more upset. To pay almost $25 for a entree and for it to come out like that. The fact that not one person in the kitchen looked at this dish coming out and though "That doesn't look right". Our server Joseph made our first visit very memorable. I ordered the Atlantic Salmon and because it was my first visit here, Joseph brought me out all their signature sauces to try. I have to every Bonefish Grill around my area. This one is located in Sunrise Boulevard off of Pine Island, in shopping center in a not too busy area, which makes it great for parking. There was a lot of people waiting to be seated and I found this surprising because it wasn't even Tuesday (they do have a great three course meal special on Tuesdays) The hostess was so nice she came up to us and told us there was a table near the kitchen area right next to the high tops which we could have right away. Of course took it Our waitress came and brought her some bread and drinks I love the Bonefish Grill bread!!! For dinner I had the daily duo special. Which was shrimp and steak. It was very good! And since it was Wednesday we of course had to have the bang bang shrimp!! I find this place to be quiet upscale. With normal Restaurant prices which is always nice. You feel like you are having a five-star experience for a three star price. Maybe I haven't been to enough five star restaurants but it feels this way to me. Where we were seated they had all their wine and alcohol displayed on nice wooden shelves and it reminded me of a couple of more expensive restaurants I have been to. Decor at every bonefish is subdued, with low lighting and always with some fish and nautical decoration pieces. I also like that the wait staff wears white coats that makes them look like chefs.. 3.5 - Don't love this location of Bonefish Grill. I came here for a Yelp event about a year ago and it was phenomenal. I came back to try this with my family and I was not as impressed. The hostess wasn't friendly and no one was cooperating about where we should sit. They told us several times that they were setting the table, and they just ended up putting an extra chair in a random table - it made no sense given the wait. The waitress more than made up for this because she was very friendly and personal. I had the fish and chips a they were decent. They fish lacked salt but the fries were pretty good. It wasn't anything out of this world. My family had the bang bang shrimp and really enjoyed it. This is an ok seafood restaurant, but didn't love my experience enough to want to go back. read more

If you're a fan of Bonefish's legendary Bang Bang Shrimp, you'll absolutely love this breakfast favorite. It's a tad spicy but the flavor combo packs a bigger punch that will leave you starry-eyed, but in the best way possible. My bestie ordered the French Toast which were a tad on the crunchy side but the flavors were still delectable. Served with a tiny mountain of whipped cream and strawberries, this dish is definitely one for you if you're one of those Snap-My-Food-Before-I-Eat-It's. The Mango Mimosas were interesting. The menu says they're made with a mango purée but it was more like a mango jam or jelly that just sits at the bottom of the glass. Needless to say, I was thoroughly satisfied with the Blackberry Sangria while my biff enjoyed the Mango Mimosa's much more - to each their own. For the amount of seafood restaurants in Florida, you would think to pass up a chain restaurant, but don't pass this up! For starters the service was great! I feel like I am rarely impressed by service, but it was really great. We were told the wait for a table would be 45-55 minutes, ok no problem it was a Friday night, so that's to be expected. But when a waitress came outside to offer up some complementary Bang Bang Shrimp while we were waiting, I was an immediate fan! They were so yummy, we got some for appetizers when we got to sit down...clearly their point, but I don't hate it! We were hungry, so we got what will seem like a lot of food...brace yourself for this meal folks. The muscles...amazing, but seriously. I have had many of versions of muscles throughout the years and have made them many times myself, but nothing compared to these. The were tender and cooked perfectly, not to mention I needed a loaf of bread and a spoon to just soak up all that glorious sauce...perfect balance of creamy, lemony, sweet. Seriously I'm hungry just thinking about them. We also got an order of the Bang Bang Shrimp, they are crispy despite all the saucy goodness they pour over top of them. That's a always a true test if food doesn't turn soggy when its topped with sauce, its usually a winner. Most of the table got the specials for dinner, salmon served on a plank, cooked perfectly and flaky, swordfish and pumpkin ravioli topped with feta...fall in your mouth, what could be better and I got the mahi mahi with crab. I won't lie, I thought the mahi was a little bland, but then again it is a bland fish, but it was definitely missing some salt and some overall flavor. Not my fav, but the apps really made up for it. We ended with a key lime pie to go...since clearly the thought of more food was a little ridiculous. When we did get to eating it a few hours later it was still great. We made a reservation for a party of 8, at 8pm. Got to the restaurant on time and had to wait another 40mins. What the host and manager said was that there was a communication error when they got busy. I asked if the honor their reservations and they said "yes". Then I ask, "so why are we still waiting?" They say a larger and smaller group before us, during our conversation. We asked where do we go from here and the manager offered some free apps or drinks. He didn't honor his word, again. First time at this location and I had a good experience. I actually tried to dine here a few months ago for dinner and the line and wait was so long I left. I prefer to come here during lunch which is less busy than the evening hours. We decided to do brunch on Sunday since they had a pretty good deal. $19 comes with a specific entree and bottomless mimosas or blackberry sangria. I loved their blackberry sangria so much I had four total. I also ordered the wagyu beef (medium) and egg burger and fries. That was very good but messy like a burger should be. The fries were so crispy just the way I like it. Our waitress was friendly and kept coming back to refill our drinks. To go back to the beginning, they provided us with a loaf of bread with pesto olive oil. That was tasty but the bread was very crispy and I'm more of a soft bread type of person. The restaurant is a chain so it's similar to all the other Bonefish Grills. This is a great spot for brunch. If you want to get dinner, I suggest making reservations. read more

Slim pickings in Sunrise for good food. Most people scoff at chain restaurants but the point is wherever you go you should receive the same experience. And of course there are many levels of chain restaurants. There's Chipotle and there's Capitol Grille. Both are chains. Made a reservation for a big party, they hung up the phone 3 times during the process, told me the reservation was booked, made us wait almost 2 hours, after not getting any updates, I called back, just to find out that they never put it in the system! Then the lady proceeds and hangs up the phone on me mid conversation! Absolutely ridiculous. Never eating there again.
