Say what you want about chains, but Bonefish is our go-to when we want something consistent! It never fails that we get a great server/bartender, if we order the same dish it doesn't taste any different than our last visit (again, consistency!), and even when they're busy, the wait goes super quickly. I know seafood in Tennessee can be iffy, but the quality here is always great, and c'mon who doesn't love bang bang shrimp! I wish I knew the names of the two servers we often get (I'll edit the review if I remember), because other restaurants can take note from them! Great customer service. read more

I am sincerely disappointed and dissatisfied by the quality this location is producing. Starter: I ordered the Mussels Josephine as a starter ($13.50). And I noticed multiple broken/shattered shells (dead) and shells that were shut (dead) and were served to me without a breeze. I have ordered them several times before and have not had an issue before. I would like to add they were BATHING in butter which was very excessive to the usual butter and wine sauce. Granted I usually visit them during their "peak hours" but as I sit here after the rush, I should not expect the quality to plummet this much... Refer to images regarding mussels 6 - Dead 6 - Broken Shells Main: I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass ($36.90) and was debating on the quality considering my starter if it was worth the price. Sea Bass looked undercooked for my liking (extremely translucent) and had areas that were gelatinous and odd texture which made me not want to eat further (it looked like pork belly and I am a pescatarian). On the bright side, the sides were good (potatoes and seasonal vegetable AKA broccoli) and thats what I was able to finish. Atmosphere: I was acquainted with 2 flies who visited me frequently that i kept having to shoo away. Granted i was sat by the entrance aka the revolving door. Either way, It is not ideal to keep having to swat flies around while you are eating. Service: The waitress Parker was sincere so service was not compromised but I am very shocked by the reaction I received from management as I addressed the mussels issue. Manager & Waitress: "I can put in a new order"... Me: No thank you, I would not like to receive an order from the same bunch of dead Mussels. Conclusion: Do not settle for less! This restaurant chain is prideful on the quality they serve to their customers. Help them out by informing them this is 100% unacceptable to produce this no matter what time of day it is! read more

Had Mothers Day dinner at Bonefish Grill in Franklin TN.... Ordered the air fried cauliflower... can only be described as awesome even when vegetables aren't your thing. For dinner... cedar planked salmon... But the best part was the attentive service, meeting every need without smothering you... that was accomplished by Torrie... Another pleasant night at Bonefish grill!! This place doesn't disappoint me and my guest that's picky about food liked it very much too. We of course started with the famous Bang Bang Shrimp- I love how they serve it with chopsticks! The bread was great too. Our server was so nice, talked real fast but very helpful and kind. She kept checking on us throughout our dinner. I ordered scallop and shrimp which comes with a choice of sauce and two sides. One of my sides-potato au gratin was very delish. Scallops and shrimp were seasoned perfectly and I didn't even need that dipping sauce. Our table happened to be (probably) the darkest spot on the floor- booth in the corner , near the restroom. If it had a light in the ceiling above us it would have been more comfortable. But it's okay, we still have enjoyed our meal. read more

First, I am thrilled there is a seafood option in TN that does not start with the word FRIED. Thank you. Bonefish Grill has great atmosphere and it is very relaxing to eat here. The staff is attentive and takes good care of their guests. My last visit was for the Yelp Elite event and I had a great time but the Bonefish Grill was inconsistent with its menu. l enjoyed the appetizers (Imperial dip and Bang Bang Shrimp) and would get either again. The glutton free brownie was an outstanding dessert but notice the ice cream was falling off the plate. The wine list really compliments the menu. But the main courses just didn't meet expectations. The Belleair topping overwhelmed the snapper (possible because it was a taster size portion) and the scallops were not seared before plating. I have never had anything bad but for their prices details matter. The happy hour is pretty easy (everything is $6) and it is easy to share/sample items here. I would do the cod sliders anytime. Some things I recommend on the menu are 2 appetizers: Bang Bang Shrimp and Ahi Tuna Sushimi... As an entree, I highly recommend their Sea Bass... At Bonefish Grill, they offer five styles of toppings, such as a mango salsa, lime tomato garlic, chimichurri, pan-Asian and a lemon butter (I prefer the mango salsa and lemon butter with the Sea Bass)... Terrible service! Went for date night, first waited 10 min for a hostess and everyone else had checked in already. After putting name in Sat at bar since table was open but needed cleaning. We waited for table to get cleaned, order apps and drinks. Then about 5 min later we received waters, drinks and apps were on the way. We thought our night had turned around but were completely wrong! We ordered dinner and waited for bread and apps. Thirty minutes later we still had no bread or apps! Thankfully, we did get our drinks! But, then our meals came out! No bread, apps, soup or salad just meals! By this point, the tables that were sat after us had received their drinks, bread, apps and dinners, needless to say we ere very dissatisfied!!! Once we rejected our dinners, we paid for our drinks but we were told they were comped so that was nice! They also offered a gift card but we don't plan on coming g back ever! We have tried this restaurant several times this last year and each time our disappointment grows! Our disappointment and dissatisfaction is with the service, not the food or the drinks. We do not complain to free stuff. It's the principle! We would have easily dropped $150 on dinner and drinks and plus tip for our waiter we expect service worthy of that cost. We once loved Bonefish, but haven't been in a while. Decided to make reservations and go on a Saturday night. Reservations were not necessary as the restaurant was almost empty around 6:30. Now we know why. The reception desk was run by teenagers that were confused and chaotic. We ordered calamari that arrived floating in grease. The dish consisted mostly of pieces of oily, fried batter. Our entrees arrived two minutes after the appetizer. We ordered the mahi with shrimp that also arrived floating in oil, and the shrimp was undercooked. The mahi was cold, dry and rubbery. The only reason we gave 2 stars was because the waiter did a decent job and was trying really hard to take care of his customers. Additionally, we noticed the tables around us also got their entrees within minutes of receiving their appetizers and salads. Rather than allow the food to sit there and get cold, they sent it back to the kitchen. Just sad to see the decline in Bonefish. read more

Had great food, great service and a great time! My husband and I had dinner here on 01/20/22. Our server, Molly, was very friendly and helpful with the menu. We had the Bang Bang Shrimp, AhiTuna Poke, & Tempura Crunch Sashimi Tuna for our starters. They were all delicious and well presented. I was in town on a work retreat. I was looking forward to this lunch for a long time. It was a super quiet day at BG. I was the 2nd customer of the day. 1. The wait for a table was almost 5 minutes. 2. The restaurant was cold. I went to the bathroom and stopped at the thermostats to see them set at 68. 3. The waiter was super-disinterested and super-slow. 4. He also told me he had never heard that BG had a lunch menu and made me order off the dinner menu. I showed him the to-go menu had exactly what I wanted to order, and he assured me it was an old link. Then I showed him that I pulled it straight off the location's website live in front of him, and showed him I could order it live in front of him while we sat there. No problem solving skills whatsoever. The manager doesn't know how to navigate their POS system. They were out of an item that we ordered through postmates that they confirmed. They called us and informed us that they didn't have the item and wanted us to cancel our order only after the postmates delivery person had already arrived; postmates won't allow us to cancel our $80 order at this point. It's not the customer's responsibility to fix your mistake. We're understanding and asked the manager to just substitute the entree with something similar but he "couldn't because of inventory." This previously was our go to place but after our last 2 times we will not be back. The house salad was flavorless, the Caesar salad was small and dry with pathetic lettuce. My wife had the Pasta with shrimp that was overly spiced with bang bang seasoning and I had the Cod Imperial. The fish was chewy, not flaky with creamed spinach that was not hot and was watery. The best part of the evening was the hostess who greeted us warmly and wished us a happy anniversary. can't get your beer and drinks before they brought a brown salad to your table. specifically asked to not but dinner order in yet, no one listened. this is not fast food. did not cook the salmon as asked but they did take it back and cook it properly for my wife. poke was very good. could not get hot coffee, had to send it back to microwave it. They did not even refill the cups. And when they brought out the coffee the 1st time no spoons to mix it. The plastic liner was very dirty under the paper topping. the sites that stick out where very dirty. They would not put down the shade for us as the sun was setting. they finally did after the sun was down. this is the only horrible bonefish I have ever been to. I think most people think the same because on Saturday night they where empty, where ever other restaurant in the area is waiting room only and lines. read more

Gage was our server. He was very patient with us - lots of menus to juggle. The Social Hour deals are great! We tried the bang bang shrimp for two and Ceviche. Both were delicious! We then ordered Sea Bass, Scallops on Mexican corn and chimichurri Filet. All was delicious and plates empty. We also ordered drinks: Coconut Crush, Margarita and multiple red wines. I ordered food from this location for delivery and found a foreign object in the entree. After noticing it, I looked further and found two pieces of what appears to be a torn wrapper of some sort. Went to Bonefish last night and tried a variety of food and drinks. Throughout the evening the service by the staff was outstanding. The food was top notch. We began with the Coral Reef Punch (Bacardi Maestro rum, Malibu rum, passion fruit, house-made vanilla bean simple syrup, fresh-squeezed orange and pineapple juice, and bitters). This was a very refreshing drink that I could imagine sipping by the shore on a nice evening. For appetizers we had Wagyu Beef Sliders, very tasty though I probably preferred the Alaskan Cod Sliders. The fish on the sliders was cooked perfectly, nice crunchy exterior, good flavor inside. Followed this was the Bang Bang Shrimp. I think this is Bonefish Grill's specialty and they do it so well. The shrimp have a bit of spice but it's not overpowering. The Imperial Dip was good but I really loved the homemade Tortilla Chips, nice and crunchy, not oily at all. We had a Scallop Elote dish; roasted corn and what tasted like a cilantro pesto. For me, this dish stole the show! I will definitely be back to enjoy this one again. Paired with the Kendall Jackson Chardonnay. I'm not usually a white wine drinker, but this was a perfect pairing and a very good wine. We finished our evening with Macadamia Nut Brownie (flourless brownie, raspberry sauce, vanilla ice cream, sprinkled with macadamia nuts). This was served with the Espresso Martini. I am here in Franklin Tennessee at a conference at the Franklin, Coolsprings Marriott. Our group from the conference decided to go to bonefish at 12:30pm we didn't leave till about 245, 3 o'clock due to poor poor poor service. I ordered the stuffed Seabass as a recommendation from our waitress who is also one of the the Cooks who was also the bartender and my fish came unstuffed, while the manager came over, and stated that I shouldn't have had a problem Because they don't serve stuffed Seabass so when I showed her the word stuffed on the menu, she was very rude. I took three bites of my Seabass with some broccoli and mashed potatoes. That was Luke warm and had to run to the bathroom to bring all of my food back up immediately after it was swallowed And they still wanted me to pay $63.21. I will never patronize this business and will spread the word to the participants and attendees for our conference to find somewhere else to eat! read more
