Stuffed grouper special
Frank H.

I was in Nashville working and decided to stop at one of my favorite places. I hate our closed because we used to be there on Wednesday nights for the bang bang specials. The server was great in her recommendations but I knew what I wanted except they had this grouper fish special that was absolutely delicious. The mashed potatoes and sprouts complemented the dish to another level. I really enjoyed my meal and I was glad I had a chance to stop in.

Decided to do take out since we had a $50 giftcard & was wanting Chilean seabass. Ordered the seabass dinner with seasonal veggie & whipped potatoes & ordered a side of bacon mac n cheese, the bill came to $53 without tip included. The Chilean seabass was not bad, but not good, smelled a little too fishy, little on the dry side & everything else was just OK. For the price, glad I did not have pay out of my own money, I would not go back for fish since too expensive for not hitting the quality of freshness and a meal that leave you not totally satisfied. Used to love Bonefish especially for the buttered mussels app dish that I loved dipping my bread in which I discovered was pulled from the menu, so sad about this.

Rainbow Trout and added old bay seasoning.

The fish was good I probably will dine in next time. Service was great. The restaurant itself was clean and sophisticated.

Empty drink glasses, scraped off veggies, and an undercooked burger.

My husband ordered a burger with no vegetables and they came on the burger anyway, he just scraped them off but had asked for a side of mayo when he ordered and again when they brought the burger without it, he finally got it after the third ask and after he had already eaten half of his burger. They did not ask how he wanted it cooked which usually means it will be well done but it was medium. We also had to ask for drink refills. The server was very friendly, just obviously forgetful. My grilled chicken was dry and tough and I wasn't brought a steak knife so I had to struggle cutting it with a butter knife. Definitely not what I would expect for the price unfortunately.

Bel Air topping atop the red snapper.

While Yelpers almost always get it right, I believe this 3.5-star average is wholly unfair. Bonefish consistently delivers excellent service, a pleasant atmosphere, and most importantly delicious wood-grilled fish. We happened to try them for the first time in a year, and the food is still fabulous. I've eaten both the mahi-mahi and the Chilean sea bass, and both were expertly prepared, full of flavor, and clearly of high quality. Their famous Bang Bang Shrimp is addicting, and sides like garlic whipped potatoes and their new Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts are really flavorful. And I'm very impressed by the numerous low-calorie options on the menu, none of which taste like low-calorie food devoid of excitement. This is one Cool Springs eatery where we will remain loyal customers.

Bang Bang Shrimp

Bonefish Grill in Cool Springs offers a consistently enjoyable dining experience with great seafood and a cozy atmosphere. The service was attentive and kind. The Bang Bang Shrimp is a must-try app, perfect to split for two. The cocktails are well-made, especially the smoked old fashioned. We also ordered & split the steak & shrimp, steak was medium well and a bit more red/bloody than we prefer. Shrimp was perfectly grilled and flavored. Overall, Bonefish Grill in Cool Springs is a great spot for a date night or special occasion. I'd definitely return!

Bread w/pesto oil

We had a gift card burning a hole in our pocket and decided to eat here today for an early Valentine's meal. The selections of the day was what we ordered and I was so full halfway through my meal that I took home half of my steak. I was very surprised at how slow it was for a Saturday and especially right before Valentine's Day. We made a 12:45 reservation and was seated immediately. My guess is there was about 10 tables seated in the whole restaurant. My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the BANG BANG SHRIMP! I get it every time I come. And I love their bread served with pesto. Two of the premium sides that we ordered were Kung Pao Brussel Sprouts and Creamed Spinach. Wow! Both were exceptional. I had the Filet topped w/shrimp and scallops and my husband had the Red Snapper topped w/crab. We had a great dining experience here and our server did a fantastic job,

The restaurant is decorated to fit the Cajun theme. There is a sports feel with TVs mounted everywhere. The day we visited they switched from music to sound from a football game. They are located in a shopping center. Parking was plentiful and close. The service here was some of the best we've had in the area. Our server was friendly and on top of anticipating anything we'd need. Our food came out quickly. Our server kept up with service even as the restaurant filled up. The name of the restaurant made me think it was a seafood boil spot, but they have a large menu of Cajun items. They have a nice mix of fried and steamed or grilled options. One can splurge or eat sensibly here. We started with Boudin Balls which were delicious and a little spicy. My House Salad had fresh veggies. My husband had a Cajun dish that he enjoyed. I was excited to see half orders of some dishes available and went with a half order of Melvin's Blackened Chicken. This was a nice combination of caramelized onions and balsamic vinegar. The mashed potatoes were delicious. The half portion was plenty of food for me. My little one wasn't going to be able to hang in long enough for beignets, but I'm trying them next time! We left excited about this spot. There are plenty of menu options to bring us in regularly.

I wish there was some extra seasoning that the food was in besides butter to add some more flavor as the shrimp didn't have much seasoning. The crab itself also didn't have much seasoning and I will say compared to other places I had a harder time getting the shells off with both the crawfish and crab than what I'm used to. Overall the flavor was pretty good but I would say there's better boils elsewhere!

We started off with the Mini Donuts with dipping sauces, and they were a huge hit! Unfortunately, I was off my game and forgot to take pictures of some of the appetizers before they disappeared. We also ordered the Spinach Dip with chips, and a definite must have, the Deviled Eggs with Candy Bacon. Wow... those were sooo good! For the entrees, I went with the Eggs Benedict with home fries, and it was perfection. Others at the table ordered the Chicken Fingers and Fries, great comfort food with amazing flavor. The fries are the thin-cut style, which makes them extra good. The granddaughters split a hamburger and absolutely loved it. The service is always great here, but this visit had a special touch. The granddaughters wanted a carrot to feed to their stuffed bunny, and the waitress actually brought one out for them! Little things like that make a big impression. Overall, a great brunch, great service, and a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

Loud from the crowd, but still fine for conversation, and the tables/booths were spread enough to provide decent privacy. Made a note that the bar looked very attractive and appealing. Limited draft selection, though the by the glass wine was about the best list I've ever seen in a restaurant, and quite reasonable on pricing. Food comes out fast. Wait people are efficient and helpful. Started with a split salad. We ordered the Little Gem but actually received the Caesar. Not a big deal, though it was badly over dressed, so whatever salad we order (or whatever we're served) in the future, it'll be dressing on the side. After having a tough time deciding what to order on our first visit, I went with the tuna. The tuna slices were nicely rare though the dish was very bland. A pop of pickled ginger on the side, but some wasabi, or even a hit of salt, would have helped a lot, and the dipping sauce was off and bland, could have really used some more soy sauce. Wife got the crab cakes. The cakes were really nice jumbo lumps, very good quality, and the shoestring fries delightful (though I might order them well done next time for a bit of extra crunch). We'll be back and will enjoy exploring the menu further. There's clearly 5 star potential here, we just need to learn the best dishes to order.

The steak sandwich is served on a ciabatta roll. It has Filet mignon, Gruyere cheese, grilled red pepper & onions, garlic mayo, and creamy horseradish. The house salad has Romaine, arcadia blend, heirloom cherry tomatoes, carrot ribbons, cheddar cheese, bacon, garlic croutons, and watermelon radishes (which are an added bonus because they aren't in salads I've ordered at other places. ) The house roasted jalapeno honey vinaigrette put this salad over the top. I was hesitant to order, by the name of it. I thought it may be too spicy, but it's not spicy at all. It has the best flavor, and I have to admit I order the salad sometimes just because I have such a craving for that yummy dressing. I've never had anything like it, anywhere else. The grilled cheese sandwich is different too. It's served on Challah bread with garlic butter. It has bacon, roasted tomatoes, sharp cheddar cheese, and avocado. I wouldn't normally order a grilled cheese at restaurants, but I look forward to eating this one! My friend ordered the garlic bread appetizer for us, which was good too. It was Sourdough bread with garlic, basil, and extra virgin olive oil. It was served with house-made marinara. The marinara made me wish I had more of it and some pasta to serve it on. We finished our meal off with crème brûlée. Yum! I've never ordered anything at this place, and it not be delicious. I hope I can eventually venture out on the menu, because I'm sure every item I try will not disappoint. To add, if you want really good service in a very nice atmosphere, go here.
