This is my second or third time eating at the Bonefish Grill. We you walk in you walk to the host/Hostess podium you either get a waiting time or let them know you have a reservation. I personally just go to the bar if it's just me or someone else with me to be served immediately. The customer service have been great since my very first visit here but the manager made things right and I have no complaints whatsoever. The food is amazing here. I ordered the signature pasta with shrimp. It come with bread as well. I also ordered Bang Bang shrimp appetizer which is so crispy and delicious. I've ordered filet and shrimp dinner which come with 2 signature sides are you can upgrade to the premium sides for $4 more which is so worth it. I got the creamy risotto and the glazed Brussels sprouts. The desserts I've tried here were the lava cake and the chocolate creme brulee. The desserts change up frequently so you'll never have the same thing. I highly recommend this place. This is a definite go to for me when I am in the area. SYOY! :)

Service still on the slower side, but very pleased with the price, portions, and flavors here!! Definitely take into account their specials each night!

Granted, it's been a little while since I've been to Bonefish Grill. I recall loving the imperial crab dip. Not so much tonight. Chips were broken, heavily seasoned, very bitter to taste. The dip was inconsistently warm, with the scallops and half the shrimp being cold to the touch. Clearly it sat under the heater and the assumption was made the burned cheese was considered a cooked dish. There was some red redemption with the fish and chips... until all of the greasy fish on top of the fries turn them to a macerated and oily mess at the bottom of the plate. Service was OK. Nothing to write Home about. Not her fault about the quality of food, but definitely wouldn't be a bad idea to check the quality before putting it on the table. Too many other fine dining options in this area to spend this kind of money. Choose someplace else.

WOW! The Brussel sprouts and pumpkin ravioli are to die for! Both a must order so flavorful and delicious. Ordered online for pick up. Flawless process from ordering to pickup.

I love a good friend date! You can't go wrong with bonefish. Their menu is amazing...everything is great! Their seafood, pastas, drinks and more. The service is top notch and of course I'll be back.

My wife and I dined here for our Valentine Day date, but a few days later, to avoid crowds. As always, the Bang-Bang Shrimp was on spot and a one-item wonder! The fried shrimp was piled wonderfully high on a completely submerged (not even visible) bed of delightfully fresh, crisp shredded romaine lettuce. My wife and I both ordered one of these appetizers each for each of us. To follow up, we ordered as our entree the "fish and chips." That, on the other hand, was far less than spectacular. Don't get me wrong: the presentation was well done--it was an attractive dish, on its surface! That said, I suppose, if (what seemed to be) one-inch-plus of thickly breaded dough batter (not corn meal) hiding comparatively small strips of fish inside these three pieces of fried fish, along with a very small (albeit quite yummy) portion of fries is your thing, then this is perhaps a winner. However, my wife and I do not at all favor breaded fish; but prefer cornmeal or nothing. Why I did not think to ask which way this fish was fried before ordering it, I am not sure--but I sure wish I had. I suppose that, with typical "Fish & Chips," this method of flour battering is no doubt more common than that of using corn meal. Still, honestly, this dish was overkill on the batter: it looked nice, but tasted less than such, to us, anyway. Thus, we were both disappointed with this entree; and wish we had ordered nothing but the Bang-Bang Shrimp, period. Now, that said, there was nothing at all wrong with the food, any of the items, or the service. All of the items were aesthetically arranged, and quality food. The fish was very fresh tasting. Of course, the shrimp was delectably crisp and hauntingly delicious! Overall, this was a delightful meal! However, if "Fish & Chips" is your inclination, be sure to decide which type of breading you prefer on your fish--and be ready for seemingly far more batter than actual fish. If you like that type and degree of batter, you might be in for quite a delight. As for the Bang-Bang Shrimp, I do not see how you could go wrong, no matter your tastes! That dish is insanely delicious.

My wife and I came here for date night, but, the lackluster experience really left a bad taste in our mouths. I'm not sure what we expected from a chain restaurant, but that's what we got. The best part of the meal truly was the fresh bread and dipping oil. Our drinks were a let down. My old fashion fell flat. I wanted to have a stiff drink and felt like I just got stiffed, while the sangria was super sugary. Probably had a trainee at the bar. Needless to say, this place isn't worth dropping $85 for a meal! How is the mac and cheese a premium side??? There was nothing premium about it. There was just a sprinkling of bacon on it. I didn't even finish it. Thankfully the fish was done well. Nonetheless, we will continue our hunt for a great date night spot.

I spent a weekend in Durham, NC, and decided to order from Bonefish Grill through Uber Eats. I tried the Maryland-Style Crab Cakes, Garlic Whipped Potatoes, and Steamed Asparagus, along with the Bang Bang Shrimp and Mussels Josephine. Everything was absolutely fantastic! I can't praise this restaurant enough!

The bartender made the place she deserves five stars. The food was less stellar. My wilted spinach could better be called a salt lick with some green stuff. The fish was fine. The restaurant has an appealing rich decor with an upscale bar area which was pleasant. Translation: people good food feels mass produced.

I have to say I recieved not only a phone call but a letter and gift cardfrom regional management - this level of customer service makes me want to come back to Bonefish and is very much appreciated! Thank you for acknowledging the issue and going above and beyond - nice to know some businesses still value customer input

"Fresh local seafood"…read more I've come here a few times, so I was surprised to see I hadn't reviewed it! Saltbox started as a little shack near downtown but now occupies the place previously held by Shrimp Boats on 15-501 business between Guglhupf and Q-Shack. There are some outdoor picnic tables and several tables inside. I came most recently on a Saturday at 6:30pm. All the seafood here is super fresh, so the menu varies over time. I was excited this time to get crabcakes or scallops, but sadly, they ran out earlier in the day. Hence, I ended up with soft shelled crab platter (with potatoes and slaw), and one dining partner had a shrimp sandwich with the honey tots. The soft shelled crab was maybe the best I'd had, even though it looked a little odd-- super red and "squished". But it was VERY soft and flavorful. The potatoes and slaw were both excellent-- I liked the onions and peppers fried in with the potatoes, and the slaw was a nice vinegary rather than creamy slaw. I had one of my friend's tots, and WOW, those are good-- I'd get that next time. They loved their shrimp too-- I may go for that next time. Service was good-- we checked on our order at one point (see below), and the fellow remembered the name as well as being apologetic for the delay! The only negative-- it was maybe an hour from when we arrived 'til I got my platter. Some of that was the line, but a lot of it was just they were really busy and had a lot of orders (both dine-in and carry out). I probably wouldn't come again at that time of day, given the fewer options and long wait time. Still, EXCELLENT fresh fried seafood. Happy to give it 5 stars.

The cashier was tied up for a moment, but the chef stepped in, asked what I was ordering, and got started right away. That kind of awareness and teamwork goes a long way. I ordered the Spicy Fra Diavolo which is a spicy tomato sauce/parmesan linguini pasta topped with calamari and shrimp. I also tried the fried seafood combination of local catfish and shrimp. The fried seafood combo was cooked to perfection. The catfish tasted fresh, without any of the fishy taste that catfish can sometimes have. The batter was crisp, while the fish stayed tender and juicy. The shrimp used for the fry were large and tasty. The pasta was the highlight of the meal, as generous heaps of shrimp and calamari paired well with the balanced flavor of the white/red sauce blend. I look forward to my next visit to Squid's. We ordered their spicy fra diavolo which was packed to the brim with calamari rings! If you don't believe me, take a look at my picture for proof. After 10 minutes of digging through the pasta, I still managed to find 10 calamari rings, lol. No complaints here though! Just surprised at how bountiful the calamari rings were for the pasta. The sauce wasn't spicy, despite the name stating so, and was sufficient to coat each strand of pasta noodle. As for our second dish, how can we NOT get fried seafood?! So, we decided to go for their combo for any two items. We were pleasantly impressed with the size of the battered catfish. It was MASSIVE! The shrimp, on the other hand, wasn't anything special. Quite small. Not really juicy. If calamari was an option for this combo, we'd definitely go for it! Seasoning was a little salty, but the breading was nice and crispy. Not burnt tasting or oily, and complimented well with the cocktail and tartar sauce. Fries were normal, but quite small in portion. For $30, I'd imagine either a little more fries if shrimps are only 6 pieces, along with a piece of catfish. Food was pretty good! I can't speak for service because I did take out, but it seemed okay. The inside was really clean and had lots of tables! Maybe I'll bring my friends the next time they come visit here.
