    Bang Bang Shrimp
    Steve Z.

Ya know, I have visited Bonefish over the years and recently, I've dined in a few times. I have to say, I am not impressed w/ the food. I've had the bang bang shrimp (decent), the spicy chicken dip (OK) and the potstickers (awful). Bartenders and staff are friendly, but I have a hard time enjoying a meal at this restaurant. Feel free to disregard if you love this place.

If they don't ask how you want your burger cooked, you expect it to be more cooked than this.

This place is a shadow of what it used to be. Tonight they served my wife (who doesn't eat meat) bang bang chicken instead of shrimp, which she only found out by eating one and felt sick the rest of the meal. Our son was brought out Coke with no ice. The fish 'n' chips was terrible and they presented me with the check before I had even finished or asked for it. No offer of anything to make up for serving chicken instead of shrimp. Last time we'll be going. EDIT: Forgot to mention, my son's burger was barely cooked!

We came in it was no line and no wait! We are celebrating my birthday. The ambiance was great. The music was great. The food came out timely and hot . All the appetizers are 10/10. We have no complaints. The waitress was customer friendly and kind.

Had a great time at Bonefish for a Saturday night dinner with my husband. Tamia was our server and she was awesome! We started with potstickers. I have had them many times before and they had be been steamed. Apparently they have changed the recipe because they are now fried. They were good but probably would not have ordered had I known they would be fried. I ordered the martini flight. The apple martini was not to my liking but that was personal preference. I had the cod imperial and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. My husband had the lobster ravioli. He said it was very good but the portion size was too small. It was pretty soupy but he said it tasted good. We had an awesome dinner and will be going back soon!

Cauliflower bites, this was the surprise hit of the night! It is fried cauliflower with the bang bang sauce. Just lovely.

I love this spot on Mondays after work for M&M, Margaritas and Martinis! The drinks are $5 and the service is nice. The bartender is personable and knowledge of the drinks. The food is great however a couple of the dishes were not as fresh but I went for the drinks. The atmosphere is just lovely! Every Monday $5 M&M~ see you there.

The establishment was pleasant, but the food was subpar and the service was poor. I will not be returning to this establishment.

I love the social hour at Bonefish and visit often. I stopped in yesterday and tried the BLT nachos and I think I know have a new fave happy hour dish. This paired with the blueberry lemon drop was fantastic. The margarita was really strong and definitely is a nother great cocktail option. Everyone was giving and eating while chatting and watching the sports in the televisions. A nice chill Saturday afternoon. Service was fantastic as usual.

The bang bang shrimp was BOMB! The service was bomb, our server Kaylah was so attentive even while the place was packed. The drinks are amazing you can really taste the quality liquor, we will definitely be coming back!

So, my husband and I finally decided to attend one of the special dinner invitation from bonefish grill and it exceeded my expectations. This was a 5course meal with an alcohol beverage pairing for each plate. From the looks of it, they only accepted 40-50 people for this special menu tasting. Everyone had to be there before 6:30 because that is when dinner started. By this being such an occasion, each course was timed and it was on to the next plate. No special requests nor where there any other options but what was on the event's menu. Each drink paired well with the assigned plate. The entire meal was a conversation amongst the various guest. The restaurant had all of the special dinner seated together in a particular section. So, we chatted and made friends with the table. I really enjoyed the experience N the tasty beverages and delicious entrée definitely keep me coming back for more.

My children had week-long swim lessons in Collierville, so I checked out the restaurants in the…read morearea on Yelp and found FryDay Fish. I saw them on a Monday but noticed they weren't open until Friday. When Friday came, I made sure to check them out. After going back and forth in my head, I decided to go with the fried salmon sandwich with fries and a piece of catfish on the side. I also ordered a freshly squeezed lemonade. When looking at the menu prices, I felt they were standard. When I got my food, I was a bit disappointed with what I received. For $6, I expected the catfish to be a whole filet. I've seen photos of catfish plates where customers received a whole filet, so that's what I was expecting. It appeared that my filet had been cut in half lengthwise, so the portion was much smaller than I expected. Flavor-wise, it was just okay. When it comes to the salmon sandwich and fries, they were both very bland. The fries had no salt or pepper whatsoever. The salmon wasn't much better. I could visually tell that pepper had been added to the batter, but the fish itself hadn't been seasoned. Aside from the pepper, I'm not sure the batter was seasoned either. Additionally, the sandwich didn't come with any toppings or condiments, so it was very dry. I did ask for tartar sauce and ketchup packets, but I only received two tartar sauce packets, which wasn't nearly enough for both the sandwich and the catfish filet. I felt that the salmon was fried perfectly, and I did enjoy the crunch, but for $13.50 I expected it to at least come with some lettuce or pickles--or at least the option to add them. I'm not sure if the lemonade was freshly squeezed or not, but I didn't notice any seeds or pulp that would indicate it was. It tasted good, though, so no complaints there. If I were to try them again, I'd get the salmon grilled instead of fried, and I'd probably try the whole catfish instead of the filets. The food wasn't bad--just underwhelming. The customer service was good, but I do wish they were open during the week. I really wanted to like the food here, but this visit just didn't live up to my expectations

My husband and I decided to visit after securing an available reservation on Opentable. We were seated in the bar area, which was fine. The bar area was pretty lively that night and there was a game on. I ordered the Bourbon smash drink which was soooo good! I enjoyed it so much that I made note of the recipe so that I could make my own version at home. The bread that we started out with was very good! I ordered the petit filet and my husband ordered the Norwegian Salmon. My steak was cooked as requested, but the flavor was just okay. The Brussels sprouts, however were excellent! My husband's salmon was a nice portion and was greater than 4oz, which he truly appreciated. He confirmed that the flavor was great too. Overall, great dinner, great drinks along with a friendly and prompt server which made this a great night out. Rating 5 stars because of the amazing meals I've had here over the years. I highly recommend!

Such a Generic name that doesn't hint or celebrate its Greek heritage or menu, why? If not a local,…read morehow many more looking for a twist on your American grill/steakhouse, might try you on for size? Owner's Yelp About Business info doesn't clue you in either that the Grille has Greek roots and menu influence. By digging to see the names Taras, Dimitri, and (Jim) Katsoutes, the original owner of Jim's downtown 1921 would you guess, and as a 3rd gen family business they obviously have a following. And after that buildup, just not us, albeit that we all ordered fish. With ribs in town, limiting the week's caloric uptake was a check for the ticker ;) Shrimp cocktail $21 comes with 1/2 doz long & large, grilled with a steak like pepper seasoning, ie Grecian, served warm in cold cocktail sauce edged by bibb lettuce that looks great in a stainless cocktail stem, but no one was eating haha. 3.75/5* but my BIL who is a local, person always gets. For him it's a 5. Greek Salad $24 with salmon aok but again BIL loves this place. Norwegian Salmon entree $27 was overcooked, ordered rare and blackened, and not spicy at all. Entree comes with 2 sides; hubby chose a side salad which was just blah spring greens, tomato, cuke and croutons, but a cloyingly sweet balsamic dressing didn't help either despite 3 lemon wedges. Better option would be if they offeres a Greek side salad. Mash, the other side was fine. 3.5/5* Halibut fresh catch of day $37 is about 6-7oz asked for chargrilled, it was more delicate like cod, lacking the flakey firmness and oilier flavor or halibut. Select your sauce: a Mediterranean-- feta roma red onion, but a light hollandaise? & bacon??..is that a TN thing to add bacon to everything lol. Or the Creole with Parmesan, again why add Cheese/fat to a sauce that should be perfect without? the Lemon Garlic is butter based so whileI hoped for 2 great sauces, I steered to a heart healthier olive oil & oregano blend on the side. But it was just kinda oily without fruitiness or burny polyphenols of EVOO; the Lemon wedge was best. Turnip Greens cooked with ham hock, was not noticeable--fine by me, cooked down to texture of canned spinach and not at all bitter. Liked this the best, shockingly lol. Really wanted to try the Grecian rice but it's cooked in yes, butter, that fat suck again sigh, with Chix broth topped with a tomato Greek spice. So stuck to a plain Baked Idaho tater dressed down skinny sans bacon n cheese. 3.5/5* Good pour of Sazerac Rye in Old Fashioned. Full glass of little rocks suck though vs the signature big block ice for pro's, that waters it too quickly and visually no comparison. 3/5* $14.42 ok, but sticker shock another $4.20 additional Liquor Tax for 2 drinks, damn. I am sure the full duty Hickory n Oak grilled Lamb Chops & steaks are great but nearing $60 I'd choose elsewhere based on our fish dishes, while edible were not worthy of the billing and nothing we'd crave, ditto for the sides. Too bad because the true Greek influence has been buttered, cheesed, and baconed out. Dining Room is busy and energetic which is always good, lots of waitstaff, moody medium and dark brown decor, quite inviting. Jason did a great job on our table, but the proof, not in this pudding today. Thanks anyway, now moving onto those Ribs, Charlie Vergos :D
