I had the absolute best experience at this restaurant tonight. Our waiter Allie totally made our time there one to remember! She was very attentive with us making sure we were never without and held such a great conversation with us. Our son loved her as well. I have eaten at Bonefish many times and found it to be good almost every time (except tonight) Monday is generally a slow night and i thought we could get in and be served rather quickly. Boy was I mistaken. Service was so slow, I asked the waitress if she was back in the kitchen cooking; she was no where to be found. Maybe my mistake was to order a burger in a fish joint. I asked that it be served medium; It was more than well done. I mentioned it to server and was totally ignored. I mentioned it again and asked if she thought it was medium done. still no response and no offer to change or make any adjustment. Basically take it or leave it Worst burger I have ever eaten for $14 (or at any price). very slow service I'm hoping this was just a bad night; it will likely be awhile before I return but I sure will stick with the fish read more

Had Sunday brunch for four. Two orders of filet mignon and lobster eggs Benedict, shrimp and grits, and bang bang shrimp. Steak knife was needed to cut into the muffins and filet mignon was tough and inedible. Needless to say they were left on the plate. The best brunches around. My mistake was getting the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer and the bread. The portion size has increased and it's an appetizer that could double up as a meal. The beverages are top notch, but that lemonade with a hint of agave was something else. As for my main course, Surf & Turf Eggs Benedict topped the original. A heaping portion of lobster meat, a couple of slices of succulent sirloin, with the traditional muffin, poached egg & Hollandaise along with a choice of fruit or potatoes au gratin. I went with a group of 4 on a Wednesday. Apparently the bangers special brings in a big crowd. It was freezing cold outside, so we had to stay inside. There were no places to sit in the bar/waiting area, so we had to elbow in near some table top. We also had to go to the bar station to order our drinks. Neither the bar tender nor any server mentioned happy hour. I was able to order a call drink, but when I got the bill, a name brand was on the bill, and I watched the girl pour and tell the other bar tender to ring up a "non-brand" drink. I brought this to her attention, and it took a manager and about 5 minutes to get the $8+ drink to the correct $3.50. After we were seated, we got a very young server, and he had no one 'teaching' him. I thought this was going to be a rough night, but guess what? He was very good! He knew the menu and made appropriate suggestions. I will go back, but maybe on a less crowded evening or maybe for lunch. read more

We used to love this place. The past 2 to go orders were less than satisfactory. My salad was skimpy, the bang was soggy. We did have a nice addition to our chicken fingers, a blue plastic twisty wire. The patio was disheveled and looked unkept. It has completely gone downhill. They have a rotating door which is great. There's free bread for everyone when they come. Try the Bang Bang shrimp because everyone orders it and it's flavorful. The salad is filling and so are the rice and the potatoes. There was a soup that was lacking in thinness; it was a little thick. They need to improve by making their soups with a thin consistency. Otherwise, try Bonefish Grill. It got its name because there are always bones in fish. read more

I don't like waiting when I have a reservation but I guess 15 minutes on Valentines weekend isn't bad. As always the Bang-Bang Shrimp was good. We also tried the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer. They were disappointing. The heavy bacon completely overwhelmed the delicate scallops. The lobster-stuffed shrimp was delicious but quite rich. My mother convinced me to go with her this past Wednesday bc they have $5 BANG BANG SHRIMP....This is their signature dish and I can see why....They are pretty darn good especially with a side of Jasmine Rice. I ordered fish tacos bc I had been craving some and OMG they have the best FISH TACOS i have ever had!!!! Well next to Swankys ;) review coming soon....But anywho the service was good even when it was busy and they had great Happy Hour specials I think 4-7. So the last time we came we had an issue but being that we love Bonefish we gave them a second chance and low and behold we get the same waitress and again we have major issues with our food coming out again and as usual they apologized and we got something for free, now on to the food Angie had the crab legs and they were good but not great, but my meal the branzino was freaking awesome (head and tail on) and for dessert Chocolate Creme Brûlée. I like this particular Bonefish but not the one Back in Gainesville FL. It's amazing that a chain restaurant can be so different from place to place. I love coming here and getting the Chilean Sea Bass. Never ordered anything else and never will. If it ain't broke don't fix it! I really enjoy this place even more because after you are done eating you can go walking around the plaza and check out the other shops, or just burn off the calories. read more

I've been hearing about bonefish for sometime now and you can find these restaurants in just about every metropolitian area in the U.S. Decided to stop here and see what the hoopla was about. One word of warning, I did not partake in any of bonefishes alcoholic drinks. Seems like the biggest fans are those who drink like ... fishes. The restaurant itself was quite dark. They have booths and tables set up with sheets of parchment on top of them like an old school crab house. Menu was made up of a variety of seafood and beef. I choose the grilled grouper with chimichurri sauce and the house salad with house dressing (a raspberry viniagrette). For an appetizer, we had the Wagyu Beef with Ginger Dumplings. We were quickly waited on and service was at a nice relaxing pace. For starters, there was fresh bread with olive oil and herbs. Bread was a nice open crumb type of bread, like ciabatta, except bigger and made for a nice beginning. The Wagyu Beef with dumplins was pretty good and had a nice flavor and crunch. Had a nice Thai spin to it. House salad was a disappointing. Lettuce and vegetables were limp from the gross overabundance of dressing. High oil content of the dressing made it less appealing. The main course, the grilled grouper was fresh and firm and had good flavor. The chimichurra sauce was OK but this would have been better with the mango salsa. Like the salad and appetizer, there was a lot of oil on this dish. Service was excellent and attentive. But the abundance of oil that went with the bread, the appetizer, the salad and the main course made me feel a bit greasy afterward. The term "I'm a fan" was to strong for my reaction of this place. But I definitely will try it again. read more

Used to really love Bonefish Grill. It seemed so good and usually consistent. This last 2 visits were disappointing for $128 for 4 people no drinks no desserts. The best thing I can say we had was the salad and the bang bang shrimp. The bread was changed several years ago and it's just not worth bothering with, totally tasteless. Our server was very good but the kitchen could not keep up. We were early on a Saturday night before they were full. Couldn't get dessert as it was just too long a wait. My family & I had the worst experience at this location serving a party of 8. Two of our guest ordered the bottomless mimosas special they offer during the brunch hours. They only brought one mimosa which was after we ate our food. We asked our waiter for our next drink and didn't receive it until we asked for it to be taken off of our checks. Our waitress, Danielle, was superb. She brought our steak and lobster meals and asked us to cut into the steaks to see if they were medium as we ordered. They were bloody raw. My wife didn't want to risk sending her's back but I said: "yes, medium - just pink in the middle - not red please." Danielle took it to the kitchen and I proceeded to eat my sides. After a few minutes she brought the steak back. It was curled up as if put in the microwave but was still red raw meat in the center. She again offered to take it back but I kept it since the others would be done by the time the cook figured out how to cook a steak. It was stated as 7 oz on the menu but looked more like 4 oz to me. Danielle was great to check on us and quick. The side selections were a real disappointment though. No baked potatoes- mashed or French fries. Seasonal vegetable was green beans? Salad was coleslaw which was a good portion but had no taste whatsoever. The facility was nice but the quality and selection was not very good for the high prices - over $27 each. We hadn't been to a Bonefish for sometime and doubtful we'd ever return to this one unless they upgrade their sides and get a real cook. The food at this location is consistently good. And everyone we have encountered at this location is engaging and kind. This restaurant has bland food and only mediocre desert (we had the creme brûlée) at best. It is not worth the price point but if the focus was a little more on quality instead of quantity it would be worth it. My wife and I had the Bang Bang Shrimp, a Cobb salad with shrimp, fish tacos, with two martinis and a gin/tonic plus the dessert. The food was simply O.K and my gin/tonic was made completely wrong and I could not finish half of it. The dessert, which had good flavor, was almost runny as if the custard had not enough time to properly set. This was a huge disappointment to me because I love creme brûlée and have tasted this dessert all over the city! The atmosphere was good however, and our service was excellent. I did not bring the issues I had to our servers attention because I did not believe the problem of improperly set custard or bland food was something that could be immediately fixed. Main takeaway: I might come back for drinks one-day (made properly), and appetizers, but would not be interested in wasting time on generic tasting main dishes and poor desserts. read more

We have really enjoyed Bonefish in the past. Now during COVID we have been doing takeout. Early on it was good but lately I bring the food home and it taste like "leftovers". I don't want to pay close to $90 for two people for food that taste like leftovers. Also they have not changed their vegetable selection in years. They said it was due to COVID but it has been spinach, broccoli and green beans for a long time. What happened to succotash and mixed vegetables with the great crunch and butter sauce? I've only been once, but first impressions are huge, and this first impressions was impressive!!! From the bread, to the pork chop I decided on getting, to the service, the whole experience was very nice. The fontana cheese covered pork chop was fantastic. My wife really enjoyed the bang-bang shrimp, too. Then, we ended the meal with the little donuts and they, too, were really good. The bartender Tiffany was rude and had an attitude as if we were bothering her when we were placing food and drink orders. It wasn't crowded at all, so I did not understand the frustration. The drinks were great however the food; bang bang chicken lacked the flavor and spice and the French fries were old and cold. My friend and I joked and called the French fries end of the night fries. We asked Tiffany to take them back and for fresher fries. She was reluctant to do so; she did but when she can back she stated the kitchen said to tell y'all the fries were prefect and nothing was wrong with them. After that statement we were afraid to eat anything from the kitchen. We asked for Kim or Sam and she stated no one was available.
