Shocked wasn't busier. The pick two offers variety, quality food at a great price. The service from Jennifer made it over the top enjoyable. I'd give more stars if I could. I had my favorite soup and the fish. Took 1/2 of my lunch home. Food came hot and nice portions. Can't wait to come back with friends. read more

Bonefish Grill - Brownie with strawberries and a chocolate balsamic glaze - Seafood Near Me - Boca Raton, Florida

The poor experience tonight at this restaurant location ruined our meal. Dinner was my suggestion to out of town guests. I've come to Bonefish Grill in west Boca Raton, Florida - many, many times. I'm sorry that I did recommend it tonight. I will NEVER return nor will my guests. The food was good but the manager ruined all tastes for this place. A server ran by our table, spilled some liquid off the plate that she was carrying. She swore as it plopped onto the floor. It also flew next to me on my seat and unfortunately, on my top. I tried to wash off with water but the oily stains remained. I now need to launder. I told the young host and asked him to get the manager. Time went and no manager. I asked the host again? He admitted to forgetting so he now got the manager. The young guy/manager came and I told him what transpired and even showed him by greasy stained sweater. The spillage was still on the floor near my table. He bent over with his fingers to bring greasy spilled substance to his nose and eyes. He said, it was butter and asked me which server spilled? I was shocked this was his response. I said, don't know and she didn't mean it. He said, he's going to the back to find out who did it? He never returned. I asked the server when she brought the bill if any compensation since my guests were shocked that he didn't take off bill, even one drink?? She took the bill to ask him. Time passed as we waited to pay. He came to us and literally said, NO compensation. Nothing. Not even a drink when I asked him? He said, she didn't spill with intent?? What server does in a restaurant??? He did NOT even offer to pay laundering bill for my expensive top. We all couldn't believe this classless & inexperienced manager. I asked for name and card: Joel Soto. All of said, we will NEVER come back to this restaurant. I am embarrassed by my suggestion. Joel Soto, the manager at Bonefish grill in Boca Raton, Fl ruined the experience of our rare dinner gathering tonight. read more

Casual styled restaurant with great service and tasty food. I loved the portions that are perfect for an individual, and you don't over eat unless you try several appetizers. I had the corn Chowder with crab cake and bacon pieces soup, absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it. They also offer a special menu offering a 3 course meal for 2 at a resonal price great for a couple. Full bar service available as well as non alcoholic selections. read more

Honestly, it was a complete disaster. Staff was kind and friendly but I don't know if they're severely understaffed but both servers and the manager were making mistakes and or forgetting things over and over at least 5x during the meal. The manager came over after 10 minutes and apologized for no one coming over to us, and he verbatim promised he would do one loop around and come back to take our order if no one came and would come back with bread but didn't come back. 10 more minutes went by and we had to waive him over and he took our order himself and apologized again, for no server or himself returning to us. We also had to ask for water two times and bread two times prior to food coming. Food took 40 to 45 minutes to arrive. It was New Year's Eve so we did anticipate a longer wait time but didn't anticipate so many issues and mistakes. When the food finally come that was wrong too.. so we had to continue to wait again for the full meal. Then the steak came and I asked for a medium, and it was closer to rare/ medium rare at beast so they had to take that back to. Manager was constantly apologetic and did comp the steak and offer dessert but the whole thing was such a disaster from start to finish that there is no way we could come back. It took two hours the whole experience. I was taking my mom here for nye because she tried the chain in vero and liked it a lot. So would not recommend this location. Maybe others are okay but I would avoid this one. read more

Oh bonefish of old, what happened to you? My family went in last night, and here I am sitting on the toilet this morning with horrible stomach pains from either my gross salmon or my wife's overcooked mahi. Not to mention that our meal took an hour to hit the table. Luckily stuff was coming out of the fryer relatively quickly so my toddler was able to eat some fries and ketchup. +1 star because the server was nice and bang bang shrimp still got it. But I'm not risking a trip there again any time soon read more

Used to be a barest place for happy hour. Now there is nothing inviting on the menu. Place was empty as a result of these changes.

Had dinner tonite. Waited 45 minutes for the food. Waitress was pretty much non-existant. Food was horrible. Wont go back again!

I was a huge fan of Bonefish Grill but no more. I ordered bang bang shrimp tacos which the price went up , which wouldn't have been a big deal if the quality of them didn't go down. They also charge a a fee when you order out which the mistakes in my order should refund me that charge. They forgot one of my sides , which the other 4 sides were ice cold. The tacos were cold, soggy and definitely not as good as they use to be. I always feel bad when I see these restaurants closing down but when you see how the customer service going down and quality then that's the reason these places don't survive. Unfortunately they lost another customer. And then I'll get that automated response apologizing for the dissatisfaction of my experience. Please don't waste your time. They even reached out and offered a 10.00 gift card , I spent over 100.00 LOL, that would cover the surcharge for ordering pickup. Man they don't get it, Just fix the problem, take care of the customers before it's too late and before you're another restaurant that closes. read more

My friend and I got here an hour before closing and ordered one appetizer and one entree to share. Our appetizer had a hair in it and we weren't going to say anything and be petty because shit happens, but the entree came out and my friend spotted another long ass hair as the server was putting the plate down on the table and said something. She was very sweet and we told her there was a hair in the appetizer too but the bill came and it still had the appetizer which was $15.... Idc about the money but it's the point. Two hairs in two dishes and you still want $15?!?! Barf. Never going back here again!! read more

My husband and I finally by here since it's so close to our house. We've been avoiding it due to it being a chain, and there being so many great local restaurants around. Overall, wouldn't recommend. The restaurant itself is well built, and clean. Decor and ambiance is nice. I love that there's a spacious bar and large TVs with games on! However what falls short is the quality of the food, especially in relation to the price. We ordered the blackberry sangria, bang bang shrimp, Cesar salad, signature pasta with salmon, and sea bass with Brussels and seasonal veggies (broccoli). The signature pasta with salmon was probably the better dish between everything we ordered. However even so, the pasta was over cooked. I asked if the salmon could be cooked medium and despite the waiter saying they don't take temperature orders, it still came out medium which was awesome! The sea bass in general was edible, considering the nature of seabass is generally delicious. However it was slightly rubbery, and the texture was nothing I've ever seen before (like string cheese)-- as if it's low quality? Not sure, never experience that. The Brussels were flavorful and charred but not crispy. The broccoli was a huge disappointment as it was steamed/boiled to the point of melt in your mouth. It could have been smushed to a purée, not one crunch. Finally the Cesar salad was soft and tasted like it was premade and had been sitting in the dressing for awhile. Overall I don't think the issue was with the specific store or that night, I just don't think Bonefish grill as a whole has good or fresh food. Our bill was over $110, and we could have easily gone to many other local seafood places and gotten actual good fresh seafood for the same price or less. If the prices were 20-40% less I could see how they could get away with frozen food, however it's just not worth it when there are better options. read more

The service was amazing this time and your crabcakes are fire and my drink was nice with the blueberries. Keep up the good work.

The first bad experience I've had here. We had reservations. There were quite a few people waiting to be seated who also had reservations. It appeared to be very understaffed - I saw few waiters walking around. A man in a chef's coat was delivering food to tables. A couple near me counted the empty booths and said there are 7 empty ones, what is going on? They left, then another waiting couple left. We'd gotten a text saying thanks for checking in, we'll send you a text when your table is ready. After a half hour we just left and went home. That 2nd text, that a table was ready, never came. When will I go back? Maybe this fall. read more

STAY AWAY - WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER! If I could give zero stars, I would. After waiting FOUR HOURS just to eat, I wish we had walked out like so many others did. From the start, the restaurant was clearly in chaos. We found out that three chefs had quit mid-shift, and instead of bringing in help, three managers were in the kitchen trying to cook. The result? Total disaster. While we sat hungry and frustrated, dozens of people got up and left. We should've done the same. But after waiting for what felt like forever, I finally got my salad--with a hair in it. Absolutely revolting. I politely brought it to the manager's attention, and not only was he completely rude, but our waiter had the nerve to ask if I wanted the hairy salad to-go. Seriously? We only ended up at this restaurant because Lazy Dog, the place we meant to go, was closed due to a water pipe issue. Big mistake. Everyone I know who's eaten here has said the same thing--filthy, disorganized, and just plain gross. Save yourself the time, the frustration, and the stomach ache. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

Some hiccups on my order and they kept me waiting for 30min, and when it was ready they forgot fries so in total I waited over 40min. Very small portion for the price you pay. My order was about $50 and all I had was tiny portion of steak and crab cakes which smelled pretty fishy. Decor is beautiful and it's located in a new plaza but I think there are so many better choices for their price range and it's not worth the second try. read more

An elderly family member absolutely loves this place and it's the only place he'll go out for. We are not fans of large chains but I have to say BG is way more upscale and committed to enjoyable experiences than most large chains. The complimentary bread is delicious - be warned! Servers are always happy to answer questions and seem to enjoy their jobs. My only small gripes are the increasing prices and a bit of confusion around sides and upgraded sides on the menus. Maybe a small edit can be addressed. read more

I don't care what the naysayers say...I love Bonefish Grill! I've been dining at BFG for over 20 years and can honestly say that I've not had a bad meal. Tonight followed suit...The mussels were fresh and flavorful, the parmesan crusted trout with artichokes was stellar, and my girlfriend's shrimp and scallops were delicious! If you want a really good dining experience at a reasonable price, I suggest giving BFG a try. Also...do yourself a favor and get the smoked old fashioned. read more

We were in the area and thought we would stop in for brunch. To be blunt, this was the worst service we have had at a Bonefish. We sat there for about ten minutes before the the server even came to introduce herself. We ordered coffee because it was brunch as well as ordered our meals. After waiting about twenty more minutes without even getting our coffee. My wife asked for the manager. The hostess came back and said they didn't make a pot of coffee this morning and had to make a fresh pot. Even if that were true the server should have come out and told us that. Then my wife ordered a aide of spinach and tomato's because she likes that in her Benedict. Instead of a little sliced tomato and some spinach. It case as diced tomatoes on top of spinach. And the kicker is that the bowl literally had an inch of water in bottom. No here's the kicker, they tried to charge us for it. And it wasn't even busy. By the way, the manager never came to the table like we asked. read more

It was a beautiful evening in South Florida so finally visiting the Boca Raton, Fla. Bonefish Grill at its new location was on the radar. This Glades Road location just east of SR 441 in the same strip mall as Yoga Six and Bolay is quite inviting and so well-lit. This Bonefish Grill looks so quaint inside and out ... like a picture post card. Sides are good to familiarize oneself with and today's Seasonal Vegetable was broccoli. The Specials menu had a Shrimp Rangoon cream cheese dip on the menu I still haven't tried. The Server tending to all the booths in the dining room was very articulate, upbeat, and knowledgeable. I did mention being a Dine Rewards member up front. She (server) explained DineRewards was currently "down" so we would have to input our check total and credit card number the following day or return to the store with our receipt to earn points. Many fish- the bone type fish- seemed so good and tempting but Salmon tugged at me because I eat salmon a couple of times a week. I like that Bonefish Grill's grilled salmon comes in either a Large or Small portion. There are many accompanying sauces to choose from including Chimmichurri and Mango Salsa. The Mango salsa is always a winner with salmon to me. And to round things out I chose Basmati (Indian Rice) and steamed broccoli ... so good ... everything was so good here and I enjoyed the service. I asked again about Dine Rewards in the "off chance" the DineRewards system was "up" again and, as it turned out, it was "up" again so I did not have to worry about adding my "missed check" the following day for rewards. If you eat fish there is a great selection here. Tip: Start the meal out with a Cup of Crab 'n Corn Chowder which is creamy deliciousness. It also comes in a Bowl size. Full bar service here including Seasonal Cocktails such as the Watermelon Martini. read more

We haven't been here in years and they moved to a new location in the new Uptown Boca shopping center. Very nice décor with a limited centric fish and seafood menu. I had one of the Daily specials, Kung Pao Shrimp with noodles, shrimp prepared Kung Pao style, fried and tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce served over soy glazed noodles with macadamia nuts and a cilantro garnish. Surprisingly very good. I ordered a BONEFISH HOUSE SALAD ,hearts of palm, Kalamata olives, tomatoes and citrus herb vinaigrette , only $5.50 with an entrée, also very good. My wife tried the CORN CHOWDER & LUMP CRAB with a hint of bacon and the MARYLAND-STYLE CRAB CAKES house-made lump crab cakes with red rémoulade sauce , both very good. I had the wood-fired grilled scallops & shrimp, with broccoli, jasmine rice & mango salsa (see photo below) for $23.90, less a 10% discount for showing an AARP membership card - very much the bargain. Every part of this meal was cooked and flavored so well that the mango salsa, while good, was superfluous. Some among our group ordered fish and no one complained about finding a bone, thus belying this misnomered restaurant in Boca. Also, if you've had the experience of having a hard time finding something on the menu you can feel comfortable ordering, that won't happen here ... lots of good choices. read more
