To share around the table, we split the following: - Crab Cakes - Sticky Toffee Pudding The salad and entree I ordered for myself included: - Heirloom Beets & Melon - Classic Beef Wellington First and foremost, the salad was absolutely fresh and palatable. I was not used to enjoying a salad with beets + watermelon, so now, I am a fan. The crab cakes were flavorful, especially paired with the house-made lemon aioli sauce. The Beef Wellington dish was divine. The meat was super tender, the brown sauce was dynamite and the vegetables + mashed potatoes were the perfect complements. Lastly, the sticky toffee pudding was great, as the dessert was not overly sweet. The green apples added on top provided a nice balance of tartness against the richness. Junior was my server. I appreciated his warm, friendly disposition. He was very kind and attentive the entire time. The Oxford Kitchen and Gastropub has delectable British food. I am so glad that this restaurant is located in Lodi, which is super close to my hometown. I'd definitely return.

We were greeted and seated promptly after arriving. The restaurant is decorated in vintage paintings and furniture, a large brick oven for pizzas and a cute outdoor patio with additional seating. I ordered the Tri Tip Green Chili Melt which was really good, others in the group ordered, wings, fish & chips, chicken caprese sandwich & the French Dip. All of our food & drink were delicious & our service was top notch. We enjoyed our dining experience at Dancing Fox and plan to dine here again in the future.

Review 1,108 Posted on 9.13.26…read more We came to Maison after arriving at Appellation Spa & resort on Saturday August 29th when coming for our anniversary. Maison is on the grounds near the main roadway that Appellation is on. They've got a bakery here, as well as a wine bar of sorts connected to it. The bread here is so fresh, soft, & good. We ended up getting 2 fresh loafs to bring back home. You can take your food and coffee and sit out back or out front. Tons of people I think stop in here to hang and get a quick bite and just sit outside and enjoy the weather and people watch. Nice place to hang.

I got mine with no cheese and a side of onions, and it was every bit as good as I remembered. One thing that was a little odd was that my friend's plate came with chips and veggies while mine only came with the sandwich and veggies. I'm not sure if there was a difference in how the orders were entered, but it definitely caught my attention. That said, those chips were absolutely delicious. We liked them so much that we packed up the leftovers and took them with us while we walked over to the visitor center afterward. That's always a good sign when you're making sure not a single chip goes to waste. We've been here quite a few times over the years, and one thing that keeps us coming back is the consistency. The food is always excellent, and even on busier days they seem to keep things moving. During this visit the restaurant was fairly crowded, but we were still served promptly and never felt forgotten. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Maison. It feels relaxed without being overly casual and always makes for a nice lunch stop when we're in Lodi. Helpful tip: If the chips come with your meal, don't leave them behind. They're surprisingly addictive and worth taking home if you can't finish them. Between the great food, friendly service, and reliable consistency, Maison continues to be one of our favorite places to stop whenever we're spending the day in Lodi.

The hosts were extremely friendly and gave my fur babies lots of attention and love. They even got us a little burger patty with a candle for him. It was quite warm and swampy outside though, and unfortunately, there were several mosquitoes making a meal out of us as well. Market Tavern has battery operated flyswatters that you can put on the table, but most of them were not charged so we couldn't really use them. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful though. Bathrooms were clean as well; actually kind of like the single bathrooms as they do have a few and give you more privacy. In terms of menu items, about 95% of the menu items are the same as Stockton's. I tried the Hamachi Crudo, which was refreshing and I also tried the roasted brussels sprouts. The duck confit was probably my favorite as it was so crispy. Although it sat on a bed of sweet sauce, I think it balance as well with the saltiness of the duck. I had a sparkling rosé locally from Lodi, which was refreshing and not stale/metallic. My friend got the salmon which she said was good too. I think overall, the big appeal for us was the fantastic service. At the end of our meal, our server generously gave both me and my friend little baggies of blueberry oatmeal cookies that we tried later. They were so fresh and delicious and soft. The staff here at market Tavern really made sure we got such great care and attention and treated us so well. My fur boys and I would be happy to return for that same experience. :)

It was our first time trying a vegetarian pizza, next time we'll add pepperoni. The lucca is usually our go-to and never disappoints. Their soft serve ice cream may be Lodi's best kept secret. Room for improvement: Their check-in process could benefit from some fine tuning. Every time we've gone, there's always a mob of people waiting before open. Love that for Guantonios! But, there should be separate lines for walk-ins vs reservations with the amount of people that are waiting and the limited space, so things stay organized. Small details: Portions are modest for the price point. For an upscale pizzeria charging mid $20's to $30's for a Neapolitan pizza, I was surprised they couldn't provide freshly grated Parmesan on request. It's a small detail, but it felt out of step with the price point and the experience they're trying to offer.

The deviled eggs were some of the best we've had in a long time, creamy with just the right kick. It's clear this is a place run with real pride, and it means a lot to support a local, family-run spot like this in Lodi, especially one with such genuine UOP roots. Now was a good as time as any! As we entered, there was a sign to meet at the bar for seating. The waitress/server came out after a bit of a wait and according to my friend, it's usually a longer wait time around lunch for someone to come out and seat you. I was recommended to try the pork schnitzel by my friend and it did not disappoint. I got my sandwich with a side salad. We also ordered the deviled eggs to share. My friend has never had the deviled eggs before and pleasantly surprised and delighted that the eggs were absolutely delicious. They're very smooth, eggs were cooked perfectly and the touch of bacon was just right. It does come with a small helping of mixed greens topped with pickled onions. The pork schnitzel was crispy & crunchy due to the breaded pork loin, came with pickled onions, slaw and the chipotle aioli sauce. The sauce does have a bit of a kick to it but it wasn't too spicy, well, at least for me. My salad was very good too. It was colorful and had an interestingly tangy dressing on it. It paired well with the sandwich. One was spicy and the salad was tangy but refreshing. My friend also ordered the pork schnitzel with beef tallow fries. I tried some of her fries and they were thin but still crispy. Overall the food at West Oak Nosh was so good and delicious! It came with a generous piece of salmon on top and was served with a lemon vinaigrette. The dressing had a nice, tangy flavor that paired really well with the salad. One of the kids ordered the kids' mac and cheese, which disappeared pretty quickly! The other ordered corn dogs and French fries. Both were fresh, hot, and cooked perfectly. The only male in our group ordered from the brunch menu and went with the fajita omelette. It had all the flavors and fixings you'd expect from fajitas, but served in an omelette.
