A Moveable Feast is a fantastic place to eat. It's a food truck, but somehow feels like you walked into an episode of Cheers on wheels. The owners remember your name, your usual order, and greet you like you've been coming there for years--even if you haven't. You pull up thinking you're just grabbing a quick bite, and next thing you know you're laughing, talking about your week, and wondering how a food truck just outdid most sit-down restaurants in customer service. They're running a full kitchen out of a truck and still make time to treat every person like a regular. Great food, great people, and an all-around good vibe. I recommend the steak sandwich, the Super Sammy Special. Honestly, give it some time and it'll probably be renamed the Jason Special J/K. 100% recommend. I had the chance to visit A Moveable Feast while my coworkers and I were in Lodi for a work event. A Moveable Feast was parked conveniently at the venue for attendees during lunch time. While everything on the menu sounded great, I was really just in a munchie mood and decided to order just fries. The staff were super accommodating and graciously gave me one of each sauce to try, which I really appreciated. The ordering process was easy, and as promised when I placed my order, the fries were ready within a few minutes, sauces and all. For $6, I was happy with the size of my order. The sauces were also unique and I enjoyed alternating between them for a different experience each bite. My favorites were the Caesar and the spicy ketchup. My coworkers said they liked their orders as well. The garlic fries looked and smelled amazing but I didn't want garlicky breath for the rest of the conference, so I'll have to try those next time! read more

I tried the crabby (crab patty, cabbage, tomato, in-house seafood sauce) plus I added shrimp. It was all served in a French roll. It was delicious! Next time I'm grabbing 2 for myself! 10 out of 10! I got their black bean burger and it so good! I would definitely come back for it. The patty was flavorful, and stayed together for the most part. Cajun garlic sauce inside was good. Highly recommend. Their Cajun Shrimp is good too. Something that you crave. You can adjust the spice level. I would have liked the shrimp to be cut instead of whole. Had cabbage, but more toppings would be nice. Fries are super crispy and good. Garlic aïoli and chipotle ketchup dipping sauces are good. They usually post daily business hours on their IG. I had lunch with my granddaughter today and she suggested we try a food truck, A Movable Feast. It's parked conveniently in a shopping center parking lot right on Kettleman Ave between Ham and Hutchins Streets. I noticed that other than the strip of grass between the parking lot and the street, there is no available seating. Upon approaching the window to order, I was immediately greeted by Sam...friendly, charismatic and inviting! If I had questions about anything, he had answers! I ordered the Cajun shrimp sandwich, which is available in a variety of heat levels and I ordered it with the highest degree of spice! The heat level did not disappoint and the sandwich was delicious, packed with plenty of plump, juicy shrimp and cabbage! My granddaughter got the chicken Caesar sandwich that also looked delicious, packed with slices of chicken breast and romaine lettuce and Caesar dressing. She appeared happy and content eating it! We also got a medium size order of fries with Cajun seasoning and their Cajun dipping sauce. I have to say that the fries were maybe the best I've ever had! Super crispy outside and soft on the inside! I'm sure that I'll dream about them tonight, they were just that yummy! They are available in small, medium and epic sizes. The medium size fed both of us and we didn't even finish them! Even though the ambiance is only the weather the day has to offer, the food and service is worth the experience! I've lived in Lodi 3 years now and passed this food truck saying how much I gotta try them and im totally kicking myself for not trying sooner! Today was the day! I got the loaded steak fries, my husband got a bacon cheeseburger with Cajun fries First thing we noticed was the wonderful welcoming gentlemen working, secondly we didn't wait long at all. I ordered the chicken pesto fries which was a smart choice. Fries are well seasoned, had that nice crunch to them, perfect portion, not too much and not too minimal. If I can do it over again I will order the same but I would ask for staff to put let of the sweet sauce, which had a little taste of bbq sauce which took majority of the pesto flavor. If cook added more pesto and less of that sweet sauce then that would be the game changer. Staff was friendly too. Definitely worth $17 bucks. I would rather give it to this place than fake fast food. Support small businesses. read more

We came across this food truck at the Berghold Winery during the Wine and Chocolate event Saturday 2/15/25. The guys were so cute and their service was great. Today I ordered the steak sandwich rare and it was cooked perfectly, tender with seasoning that gave it a bit of a kick, that was just right. We loved coming here and were excited to come back however, today was really upsetting. Two gentleman were working when we arrived (no other customers in sight) we ordered 3 burgers and a fry. When it came time to pay I hit no tip on accident and the gentleman helping us gave such attitude and talked about how we didn't tip to the other guy working. I apologized and when I went to pick up our order he handed me 3 burgers i said "oh we had a fry as well' he said very rudely " you did not order or pay for a fry" I said "yes I ordered a medium fry with bbq" he said again rudely "oh yeah yeah ok" while talking over me. When I picked up the fry I confirmed he put the sauce and before I even got the words out he once again over talked me saying "yeah yeah I did it". This food truck gets busy and once you try it, you'll know why. There are so many unique flavors to try here that you can come back lots of times and find something new. Stopped here yesterday and had the crabcake sandwich and a medium order of garlic fries. The husband grabbed a medium rare burger and epic cajun fries and we headed home. There are a couple of picnic tables near where this food truck sets up, but it was chilly yesterday. The food is always pretty good but I hadn't tried the crabcake before and it wasn't my thing; luckily I have a husband to finish all my food for me. He liked it just fine btw. The fries are always a hit (see photos for a size comparison of medium and epic) and although they are good by themselves, they have lots of sauces to choose from. I love their Cesar aioli. Not to sound weird, but cajun fries with cesar aioli is better than you'd think! Try it. Lodi is lucky to have this truck and in such a central location. We will keep coming back. read more

Tried the chicken pesto sandwich with light lettuce, extra pesto and a small garlic fry with Cajun and Caesar dipping sauces. Also ordered the Cheeseburger with Cajun fries with Caesar and ketchup aioli dipping sauce. Well I did ask for extra pesto but they literally drenched the sandwich in it. It was excessive. Also noticed that They overcharged for the order by $10. Had to address this issue after receiving food. Issue was rectified immediately. Disappointed! Poor customer service and ok food. Ordered $50 worth of food and left $5 in the "karma jar." Asked that my food be put in to-go containers as I was going to transport it home from the farmers market. I noticed the guy placing my food at the pickup window in paper food boats. I confirmed it was my order and politely told him that I had asked that it be put in to-go containers. I got a dirty look and a poor attitude. He said the guy taking the orders didn't write it down. I explained I needed to take the food home and couldn't carry it all in boats. He said they didn't have containers and all he had was paper bags. He proceeded to shove the boats in paper bags as I stared at the large stack of styrofoam to-go containers on the shelf behind him. The disgruntled attitude with which he gave me my food left a very bad taste in my mouth. The steak fries were good, but not worth $20. The pesto chicken sandwich was just ok. The chicken lacked the flavor from the last time we ordered from them. The shrimp pesto panini and garlic fries were good. But given the high price, mediocre food and poor customer service, I won't be back. read more

Every time I've had the opportunity to have the food from A MOVEABLE Feast there have been new creative options that send the taste buds into a frenzy. "Specials" like pulled pork tacos Or Ahi Tuna Salads. Along with their traditional menu, these selections were the top of the Food Truck chain! I was visiting my friend in Stockton and he took me to his favorite food truck @FeastLodi. I got the Crabby Crabcake, with tomato mustard coulis sauce, cabbage and tomatoes. Took a spur of the moment car ride to our neighboring city to check out this food truck that we've been hearing a lot about. I got the shrimp and crab cake sandwich, he got the steak sandwich, and we shared an order of their special of the day-- pulled pork fries. My sandwich was pretty good, the bread had a great chew to it. I think if I ever go back I'd ask for easy on the sauce for the fries, there was a bit too much of it as to where the fries got too soggy and we couldn't enjoy the taste of the pulled pork. read more

Some of the best food I've had!!!! I moved to Lodi about a year ago and kept hearing about it and even came across their Instagram. I stopped by one day and had the pesto chicken sandwich and garlic fries. The best pesto chicken sandwich I've had by far and the garlic fries were yummy as well along with the different dipping sauces you get to choose from. You can always get any sandwich as a salad if you prefer. That being said, I've tried the steak sandwich as a sandwich AND a salad. Omgggg, so good!!! The gentlemen that work the food truck are all super nice and funny. Great service and food!! Just had lunch from A Moveable Feast again. I had the streak salad with caesar dressing and no croutons. The crab cake kinda reminded me of a po' boy with a huge, perfectly cooked huge crab cake patty on a tasty, quality bun. No hint of fishiness was detectable. None. The garlic fries were crispy treat dipped in AMF's chipotle ketchup (one of several dipping sauces available). This is quality meal for less than $10. The CAJUN SHRIMP sandwich had delicious, plump shrimp (they don't skimp here). The ISLAND SALMON BURGER with shrimp had so many layers of flavor. The sweet grilled pineapple with the teriyaki salmon and the perfectly seasoned shrimp...I mean . The GARLIC FRIES and PESTO FRIES were the perfect amount of crispy. I've heard good things about this food truck. They came to my niece's school for a fundraiser event. First time trying their fire fries (which is not on the menu) and it was good! It's recommended with Cajun fries which gives it that kick. I would Ask for a little less sauce but other than that it was good and I look forward to trying more of food on their menu. read more
