A Moveable Feast is a fantastic place to eat. It's a food truck, but somehow feels like you walked into an episode of Cheers on wheels. The owners remember your name, your usual order, and greet you like you've been coming there for years--even if you haven't. You pull up thinking you're just grabbing a quick bite, and next thing you know you're laughing, talking about your week, and wondering how a food truck just outdid most sit-down restaurants in customer service. They're running a full kitchen out of a truck and still make time to treat every person like a regular. Great food, great people, and an all-around good vibe. I recommend the steak sandwich, the Super Sammy Special. Honestly, give it some time and it'll probably be renamed the Jason Special J/K. 100% recommend. Just don't be surprised if you leave in a better mood than you showed up with. read more

I had the chance to visit A Moveable Feast while my coworkers and I were in Lodi for a work event. A Moveable Feast was parked conveniently at the venue for attendees during lunch time. While everything on the menu sounded great, I was really just in a munchie mood and decided to order just fries. The staff were super accommodating and graciously gave me one of each sauce to try, which I really appreciated. The ordering process was easy, and as promised when I placed my order, the fries were ready within a few minutes, sauces and all. For $6, I was happy with the size of my order. The sauces were also unique and I enjoyed alternating between them for a different experience each bite. My favorites were the Caesar and the spicy ketchup. My coworkers said they liked their orders as well. The garlic fries looked and smelled amazing but I didn't want garlicky breath for the rest of the conference, so I'll have to try those next time! read more

10 out of 10! I got their black bean burger and it so good! I would definitely come back for it. The patty was flavorful, and stayed together for the most part. Cajun garlic sauce inside was good. Highly recommend. Their Cajun Shrimp is good too. Something that you crave. You can adjust the spice level. I would have liked the shrimp to be cut instead of whole. Had cabbage, but more toppings would be nice. Fries are super crispy and good. Garlic aïoli and chipotle ketchup dipping sauces are good. They usually post daily business hours on their IG. They are not always in the same place every time. I like to call ahead to make sure. Outside seating. Customer service is good. read more

Weekday lunchtime. I saw the big green trailer and decided to check it out. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I tried the crabby (crab patty, cabbage, tomato, in-house seafood sauce) plus I added shrimp. It was all served in a French roll. It was delicious! Next time I'm grabbing 2 for myself! They also serve burgers, fries as well as other delicious sandwiches. read more

We eat at the Feast truck often and love everything on the menu. Their sandwiches and salads always deliver. We recently hired them to cater a birthday party we held at IDOL Brewery and they did an amazing job. Sam and his team provided great service and I think I heard from every single guest how much they enjoyed the food. We did, too! Sam was super personable and working out the details and menu before the party was a breeze. read more

I had lunch with my granddaughter today and she suggested we try a food truck, A Movable Feast. It's parked conveniently in a shopping center parking lot right on Kettleman Ave between Ham and Hutchins Streets. I noticed that other than the strip of grass between the parking lot and the street, there is no available seating. Upon approaching the window to order, I was immediately greeted by Sam...friendly, charismatic and inviting! If I had questions about anything, he had answers! I ordered the Cajun shrimp sandwich, which is available in a variety of heat levels and I ordered it with the highest degree of spice! The heat level did not disappoint and the sandwich was delicious, packed with plenty of plump, juicy shrimp and cabbage! My granddaughter got the chicken Caesar sandwich that also looked delicious, packed with slices of chicken breast and romaine lettuce and Caesar dressing. She appeared happy and content eating it! We also got a medium size order of fries with Cajun seasoning and their Cajun dipping sauce. I have to say that the fries were maybe the best I've ever had! Super crispy outside and soft on the inside! I'm sure that I'll dream about them tonight, they were just that yummy! They are available in small, medium and epic sizes. The medium size fed both of us and we didn't even finish them! Even though the ambiance is only the weather the day has to offer, the food and service is worth the experience! I will be back to this wonderful food truck for sure to try their many other wonderfully creative offerings! read more

First time ever was today. The service is great, the Cajun Shrimp was bomb! Making them my weekly lunch spot!

Every time I go there the food is amazing, never been disappointed! The guys are always super friendly. Since I have been going I always get a chicken Cesar salad, extra extra croutons ( they are made to order and melt in your mouth). They make their own dressing that is so delicious! Great food, great guys you got to try it! read more

Amazing food!!!! They will make it anyway you want it! Steak fries are the best! Catch them early cuz there is always a line.

I've lived in Lodi 3 years now and passed this food truck saying how much I gotta try them and im totally kicking myself for not trying sooner! Today was the day! I got the loaded steak fries, my husband got a bacon cheeseburger with Cajun fries First thing we noticed was the wonderful welcoming gentlemen working, secondly we didn't wait long at all. And to the best part..The food was absolutely fantastic. I had such a huge portion of loaded fries, everything was perfectly seasoned. My husbands burger was cooked to his liking! We'll definitely be back soon ;) read more

Amazing stuff. One of the best spots in Lodi to eat. Definitely recommend. Everything they make is good honestly.

I ordered the chicken pesto fries which was a smart choice. Fries are well seasoned, had that nice crunch to them, perfect portion, not too much and not too minimal. If I can do it over again I will order the same but I would ask for staff to put let of the sweet sauce, which had a little taste of bbq sauce which took majority of the pesto flavor. If cook added more pesto and less of that sweet sauce then that would be the game changer. Staff was friendly too. Definitely worth $17 bucks. I would rather give it to this place than fake fast food. Support small businesses. read more

We came across this food truck at the Berghold Winery during the Wine and Chocolate event Saturday 2/15/25. The guys were so cute and their service was great. We got the crab cake sandwich and fries and I had him cut it into 3 which was odd, but he cut it perfectly. We just all wanted to try it. I was so excited about it, that I forgot to take a picture. The food was great, but mostly I just wanted to give a shout out to the guys that made the experience really fun! Please come to Reno! read more

Been here several times and everything that I've tried has been excellent. Today I ordered the steak sandwich rare and it was cooked perfectly, tender with seasoning that gave it a bit of a kick, that was just right. We loved coming here and were excited to come back however, today was really upsetting. Two gentleman were working when we arrived (no other customers in sight) we ordered 3 burgers and a fry. When it came time to pay I hit no tip on accident and the gentleman helping us gave such attitude and talked about how we didn't tip to the other guy working. I apologized and when I went to pick up our order he handed me 3 burgers i said "oh we had a fry as well' he said very rudely " you did not order or pay for a fry" I said "yes I ordered a medium fry with bbq" he said again rudely "oh yeah yeah ok" while talking over me. When I picked up the fry I confirmed he put the sauce and before I even got the words out he once again over talked me saying "yeah yeah I did it". Unfortunately this really left a bad taste in our mouth as we were kind to them and really did like going here. read more

This food truck gets busy and once you try it, you'll know why. There are so many unique flavors to try here that you can come back lots of times and find something new. Stopped here yesterday and had the crabcake sandwich and a medium order of garlic fries. The husband grabbed a medium rare burger and epic cajun fries and we headed home. There are a couple of picnic tables near where this food truck sets up, but it was chilly yesterday. The food is always pretty good but I hadn't tried the crabcake before and it wasn't my thing; luckily I have a husband to finish all my food for me. He liked it just fine btw. The fries are always a hit (see photos for a size comparison of medium and epic) and although they are good by themselves, they have lots of sauces to choose from. I love their Cesar aioli. Not to sound weird, but cajun fries with cesar aioli is better than you'd think! Try it. Lodi is lucky to have this truck and in such a central location. We will keep coming back. read more

I love this food truck. I love loaded fries of any variety so this place is a must visit for me. I ordered the Chicken Pesto Fries which were amazing. Definitely worth a try. read more

Tried the chicken pesto sandwich with light lettuce, extra pesto and a small garlic fry with Cajun and Caesar dipping sauces. Also ordered the Cheeseburger with Cajun fries with Caesar and ketchup aioli dipping sauce. Well I did ask for extra pesto but they literally drenched the sandwich in it. It was excessive. Also noticed that They overcharged for the order by $10. Had to address this issue after receiving food. Issue was rectified immediately. Nonetheless if you go be sure to calculate your total and make sure you're not overcharged. read more

Disappointed! Poor customer service and ok food. Ordered $50 worth of food and left $5 in the "karma jar." Asked that my food be put in to-go containers as I was going to transport it home from the farmers market. I noticed the guy placing my food at the pickup window in paper food boats. I confirmed it was my order and politely told him that I had asked that it be put in to-go containers. I got a dirty look and a poor attitude. He said the guy taking the orders didn't write it down. I explained I needed to take the food home and couldn't carry it all in boats. He said they didn't have containers and all he had was paper bags. He proceeded to shove the boats in paper bags as I stared at the large stack of styrofoam to-go containers on the shelf behind him. The disgruntled attitude with which he gave me my food left a very bad taste in my mouth. The steak fries were good, but not worth $20. The pesto chicken sandwich was just ok. The chicken lacked the flavor from the last time we ordered from them. The shrimp pesto panini and garlic fries were good. But given the high price, mediocre food and poor customer service, I won't be back. read more

Plenty of food trucks are slinging amazing hand held fares, but Moveable Feast deserves a recognition for differentiating itself from the crowd. Serving some of the best American comfort foods with a Cajun twist- - their small but, creative menu offers sandwiches and fries all customizable to your liking. Vegetarian options are available as well. If you're looking to indulge, it doesn't get any better than the Surf n' Turf sandwich made with grilled tender sirloin steak and plump shrimps dressed in their house made Cajun BBQ sauce. Make it a "Fire" by adding bacons to this delicious mash-up. Another tasty option is the crab cake and shrimp combo. The layer of freshly made coleslaw and tomato mustard coulis sauce balances the bold flavors of the seafood quite wonderfully. The crisp fries- - coated in garlic and Cajun spices were delightful made even better with any of the dipping sauces on offer including Chipotle Ketchup, Caesar Aioli, Blue Cheese, Cajun and Malt Vinegar Aioli. This mobile eatery is a must try if you're in the area! read more

A Lodi original, just like DO. Riding the trendy wave of mobile food trucks comes this gourmet sandwich trailer slangin' an array of interesting sandwiches, yummy fries, and dipping sauces. You don't gotta check your Twitter machine. It's perma-parked in the cigarette store's lot thanks to Lodi's mobile food tolerant ordinances. If the crab cake sandwich and garlic fries I tried were indicative of the quality coming out of this trailer, you gotta try AMF out, Lodi peeps!! The crab cake kinda reminded me of a po' boy with a huge, perfectly cooked huge crab cake patty on a tasty, quality bun. No hint of fishiness was detectable. None. The garlic fries were crispy treat dipped in AMF's chipotle ketchup (one of several dipping sauces available). This is quality meal for less than $10. None of their sandwiches...sirloin steak....Cajun shrimp...ect.... are more than $6.50. The fry portion is nice. If you get the "epic" size, you better have 3 friends. Value. Come out and support A Moveable Feast, Lodi. There can never be enough interesting and yummy options. FIRST!!!!!!!!!! read more

Are these guys still in business? Have been going by their location on Kettleman daily all of June and July and they have not been there. Have not seen any updates as to scheduling, vacations, no longer in business, nothing. Makes me wonder if they are serious about having a business or have made enough money that they no longer need their loyal customers. Have called both of their phone numbers and it just rings, no voice mail or updates via message. Went by again today and nothing again. Will be finding another place to buy from and maybe they will appreciate my hard earned money. read more

Took a spur of the moment car ride to our neighboring city to check out this food truck that we've been hearing a lot about. I got the shrimp and crab cake sandwich, he got the steak sandwich, and we shared an order of their special of the day-- pulled pork fries. My sandwich was pretty good, the bread had a great chew to it. I think if I ever go back I'd ask for easy on the sauce for the fries, there was a bit too much of it as to where the fries got too soggy and we couldn't enjoy the taste of the pulled pork. read more

Some of the best food I've had!!!! I moved to Lodi about a year ago and kept hearing about it and even came across their Instagram. I stopped by one day and had the pesto chicken sandwich and garlic fries. The best pesto chicken sandwich I've had by far and the garlic fries were yummy as well along with the different dipping sauces you get to choose from. You can always get any sandwich as a salad if you prefer. That being said, I've tried the steak sandwich as a sandwich AND a salad. Omgggg, so good!!! The gentlemen that work the food truck are all super nice and funny. Great service and food!! Just had lunch from A Moveable Feast again. I had the streak salad with caesar dressing and no croutons. This place is AMAZING! I love, love, love their food!! The guys inside are super nice and friendly, but their food is the BOMB. Steak sandwich is my favorite, sauce, cheese and all. It's tasty, the bread is great and the flavorful is unbeatable. Super savory! A true gem to be honest. Their fries are also some of the best around and their pesto/garlic is perfect to dip in. Whoa. This place blew us away. Best food truck we've ever experienced. Hands down. The service, amazing. They were friendly, helpful and patient with us even though we took forever to make a decision. The food, equally impressive. The CAJUN SHRIMP sandwich had delicious, plump shrimp (they don't skimp here). The ISLAND SALMON BURGER with shrimp had so many layers of flavor. The sweet grilled pineapple with the teriyaki salmon and the perfectly seasoned shrimp...I mean . The GARLIC FRIES and PESTO FRIES were the perfect amount of crispy. Highly recommend the cajun and malt vinegar aioli dipping sauces. The LOADED SIDE SALAD was indeed loaded and made with fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, sprouts, cabbage and romaine.
