    Pork snitzel
    Jen N.

I ordered pork snitched and nosh burger. The pretzel bun was soft this time. The pork snitched is thin very crispy, no distinctive flavor so I used bbq sauce. With the chipotle spill it comes with. The fries here are puffy crispy very delicious. +$5 for fries or a salad. The service was excellent. Was disappointed to be charged for requesting more horadishsauce because it's not enough in the burger from the second server who came to check on us. For a $18 meal sauce should be complimentary. The POG juice pineapple, mango, guava was good. It's an improvement for sure since the last time I came. Small outside dining. The bar area is pretty. The main dining not so much, feels industrial.

We had a really pleasant experience having lunch in this establishment - a nicely decorated bar/bistro in Lodi .service was great , food was excellent and creative and the prices were beyond reasonable . What else do we need ? Here's everything we had : 1) beef pockets - 3 little " emphanades" that were yummy and fresh . Dip them in the mustard spread and the pickled onion and they were supper yummy ! 4.3/5 2) holiday salad - a generous portion of mixed greens, butternut squash, seeds , goat cheese , pomegranate seeds ...all this came w a very tasty sauce . 4.1/5 3) pork schnitzel - large schnitzel , freshly fried with yummy pretzel bun. We really enjoyed this one . 4/5 We will be back for sure next time in the area, so many other great options in the menu to try out !

I finally got to try West Oak Nosh and wow this place is great. inside was nice and roomy with lots of seating. The employees were really friendly and nice. I was able to place a to go order and I got the Pork Schnitzel, Nosh Burger, and the B.A.L.T. Combo. The food was really good. My favorite was the B.A.L.T the sandwich was huge. The bacon was crispy and delicious and the avocado mash was nice and flavorful. The fries were also seasoned well and crispy. The Pork Schnitzel was huge. A little too dry for me. and needed more seasoning. The pickled onions were a kick of flavor and got my attention. wow. The Nosh Burger was really good. The meat was tasty and the greens were fresh. I got the chipotle aioli sauce on the side and was able to sauce it up. I'm impressed with West Oak Nosh. I will definitely return when I'm in the area to try their other items.

I love German food. Definitely heavy and you will be stuffed. It's a cute restaurant in a cute town. We over ordered, but it's ok because we demolished the food the next day. Nosh fries: 4/5 huge portion! Delicious with all ingredients, but too much for me Fried onions: loved this and the sauce 5/5 Sausage board: it was pretty good with the mustard and condiments 4/5 Pork schnitzel: also pretty good and an authentic German dish. 4/5 Drinks: espresso martini 4/5 and the spritz can't go wrong 4/5 Overall restaurant is yummy and will fill your tummy.

From the bar looking outside at the sign for this awesome eatery!

Rachael was super attentive, even though it was a very busy Valentine's Day lunch! She was friendly and helpful. Made great drinks! We went there because of the reviews on Yelp for the burgers. We ordered the Smash Burger with fries. Very tasty, delicious burger. The fries were out of this world! That could've been a meal by themselves (in fact you can order them with your choice of protein). It is a casual place, with a comfortable vibe. We will be back to try the sausage and schnitzel!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, affordable drinks and food.

The deviled eggs, pickled and regular... yum!!

We love West Oak Nosh! Their menu has German roots but they offer a lighter take on things. Their menu is locally sourced and they even make their own sausages. We have tried so many things from their menu, all of which are good. I love their deviled eggs, their schnitzel sandwich, their burger (add a fried egg), and their giant freshly made pretzel... but my go-to is their B.A.L.T. Sandwich! My husband and I like to split it. It comes with a side of their yummy duck fat fries and I always add a side green salad with vinaigrette. It makes for the perfect lunch! They have a great beer selection with locally sourced beers and some great N/A options. I haven't had one of their cocktails but I've seen some beautiful drinks that they make. Great food and drinks, wonderful owners and kind and friendly staff. A must try!

Listen up, this place will have you sayin' fo' shizzle my schnitzel with its clean takes on German cuisine. Don't pass on the house made sausage, and if you're down with pineapple, they are as good if not better than the brats. The nosh burger might be the best in town, but the pork schnitzel sandwich on a pretzel knot bun will leave you with a real hankering for a second stomach. I have friends that day trip from the Bay Area for this restaurant. It's affordable, approachable, and deliciously humble elevated biergarten grub. Ask your waiter if the deviled eggs are still available, and nosh nosh nosh on all the appetizers.

You enter without truly knowing where to go or what to do, so be observant as there may be an actual line to order drinks and food, just don't cut someone off. Ordering was easy. Same window for beer and food. If you order food you're given a number that people deliver food. Came here for happy hour. I got myself a pretzel with add-on cheese, a pulled pork (seasonal) Belgie with fries, and I sampled other food that my friends ordered. Firstly, the 1L beer is worth it. Not happy hour prices., but well worth the volume. It definitely transported me back to my visit to Munich and the beer halls. Oh, I do miss the drunken singing of the Germans lol Secondly, the food was just okay. Pretzels were thankfully cheaper since it was happy hour but i paid $1 for the add-on cheese. The mustard combo sauce was great. I wish the pretzel was a bit bigger. I appreciated the warmth and the salt ratio; not overpowering. The Belgie (waffle sandwich) was also on happy hour. The texture of the waffle was great. Crisp exterior, soft interior. I ordered the seasonal pulled pork which was great in texture and decently portioned. It is a thick boy, so biting into it was a bit of a challenge. Ended up deconstructing the sandwich and used utensils. Sauce maybe would've been better on the side. Fries always win. No complaints though I wish I ordered the garlic fries... the smell was good. One thing I didn't get to try was their famous, Starbust drink which is a mix of beer, cider and some frosty, maybe. The color was intriguing and everyone seemed to order it around me. The misters were on, which was a blessing and a curse. Definitely helped cool me down, but also became a nuisance as the table and all my belongings got wet. Excited for their new location in Old Sac. Maybe a revised review in the future. Stay tuned.

When the waiter brought my drink, I immediately noticed it didn't look like a traditional Piña Colada, and after tasting it, I confirmed it certainly didn't taste like one either. I politely asked if I could exchange it for a different drink. The waiter returned and said the manager wouldn't allow an exchange but would offer me 50% off instead. I explained that I wasn't happy with the drink and simply wanted to order something else. The manager came over and explained that the menu includes a disclaimer stating the cocktails are made with soju instead of the traditional liquor. In my opinion, the waiter should have mentioned that when I ordered, especially since it significantly changes the flavor. I hadn't noticed the disclaimer--I simply ordered what I thought would be a classic Piña Colada. Unfortunately, I was still charged half the price for a drink I didn't enjoy and wasn't allowed to order a replacement. The manager emphasized that it was too expensive for the restaurant to remake drinks, which I found disappointing. I've never had an experience like this at any other restaurant. On a positive note, I ordered the Reuben sandwich with fries, and it was delicious. That was the highlight of the meal. However, the service was also lacking. Our waiter was slow and couldn't answer several of our questions without repeatedly leaving to ask someone else. Because of the poor customer service and how the drink situation was handled, I won't be returning.
