Yuck! The chicken fingers I had were frozen. Bad fries also. They leave food sitting out too long as well.

I had the tofu bacon sandwich with a cappuccino. I didn't really think that the sandwich was too good. It was very salty. Their menu said that there was an avocado mayo in the sandwich. I was kind of expecting that it would be some kind of avocado spread, but it just made the tofu bacon kind of slimy. The coffee was honestly not that great, kind of a downer. I thought that one of the people working there was nice, but the other person kind of rubbed me the wrong way. The place looks very nice. It is well maintained and looks bright and colorful as the name should suggest. They have a health food vibe. I might try them again, but not so sure. Maybe if I find myself hanging out with a vegan, or someone in the group is vegan and we have nowhere else to go.

They have a variety of coffee, matcha, smoothie, and food options - all focused on natural and mostly plant-based ingredients. I love the vegan breakfast burrito and grilled sandwich options, they are so delicious! Note: Parking is limited, so you may need to go on the street. Also, food orders sometimes take a bit to come out so be mindful if you're in a rush!

Love the decor in the shop. There were many prepared food options in the fridge, as well as various cuts of meat/preparations of it. We got two sandwiches, the cheesesteak and the marbella. I dont think we ended up with the correct order because we didn't end up with a cheesesteak, but did not realize until we got home. I'm positive that if I went back to the shop they would've remedied the situation, but I didn't feel it was necessary! The sandwich we did end up with was good as well, unsure which one it was though. Very fair prices, and our dog was so happy we brought him home a bone as well! Looking forward to coming back and trying everything they have to offer.

The business practices whole-animal, nose-to-tail butchery that respects the animals. Even bones and fat are used. My husband and I shopped here one time. On a Saturday afternoon, we drove around the neighborhood for 30 minutes before we found a paid parking spot. Other customers were inside the store, but the employees in the store served us promptly and politely. We saw cuts of beef, pork, lamb, and poultry as well as sandwiches, soups, spices, maple syrup, etcetera. We did not see as many unique meats as larger butcher shops sell. Prices were OK. We bought beef skewers and cooked them at home. We thought that the quality of the meat could have been better, but we liked the juiciness and flavors.

The chicken looked good on the outside, but was not seasoned and watery inside. Gross. The chicken breast wing was normal, yet the side wing was huge, which makes me feel it's not real meat. The cheese in the Mac and cheese was watery and the noodles wasn't cooked long enough. I asked for utensil and didn't get any. I only gave it a two because at least the customer service was nice. It was a waste of my time and money. I would not recommend nor go back

The gentleman and lady were so helpful and excited about their menu and told us they had a special that day on chicken wings that were smeared in a special rub and were supposed to be utterly delicious. My hubby ended up getting the wings and I ordered a nashville hot chicken sandwich. After a short wait, the food arrived and we were not disappointed. My sandwich was massive!! The chicken was so crispy with just the right amount of heat. The fries were delicious; so fresh and tasty. My hubby loved the wings. They were huge as well. You get three wings for $12.99 but that's all he needed to fill him up. The dining area is small, but they have local art on the walls that you can buy if you fall in love with one of them. Their bathrooms are spotless with lots of thoughtful amenities included. Whenever we are back in Pittsburgh we will definitely be checking on The Brinery again!

I was actually quite impressed with how well it was prepared. Nice and flaky but didn't fall apart. The bun it comes on is well proportion with the fish. The only thing I could've went without, was the macaroni salad topped on the fish. However, the food here never disappoints. I'll be back.

We walked about 10 min and change from our hotel to the strip district location. It is a small little place made up for by its attention grabbing wall art of famous and loved Pittsburgh figures. The menu is easy enough. Pick a protein (there are many options) to go on the sandwich which is the standard cole slaw, cheese, tomato, and fries tucked between two slices of thick, soft white bread. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to see a vegetarian option with both a cheese and an egg and cheese version. GF and I shared and it is not a bad sandwich to share bc the thing is massive. That isn't to say that I couldn't have eaten another half bc I absolutely could have. The thing is so large and busting with ingredients I wondered how I could fit it for a bite but where there's a will, there's a way. It was excellent. What a great combo of flavors and textures. I only wish there was more cheese. I do feel like with the cheese version there should be more than what is in the version with meat but call me crazy. I could eat that every day.

Medium loudness, mainly from people's conversations. Went to bar area, little to right of entering and ordered. Asked for their special and the asked for the type of meat. Didn't know so they suggested I try pastrami and the capicola. Ordered and waited maybe 10-15min and they gave us our order in a big paper bag. It was heavy! Opened up one of the sandwiches to share and nicely the sandwich was cut in half already. Just need to tear the paper wrapper to separate. As you may know, sandwich has Cole slaw and fries on it, so it's thick. Preferred the capicola over the pastrami. Decent amount of meat on the sandwich but waaaayyy more fries than anything. The close slaw adds some crunch and tartness to a pretty mild sandwich. Overall, food was underwhelming. I'd stop by again but for some kielbasa or something ethnic. Otherwise I'd probably just try another nearby place to eat.
