The soft serve itself had the right texture and was super cute, but the cardamom flavor was too light for my palate, which wants more in-your-face flavor. The cardamom bun itself wasn't bad. I think it was a touch dry, especially compared to the super moist and buttery ones I've had elsewhere. Not bad though, and I'd rank them about mid-tier when it comes to the city's vast array of cardamom bun options. The bakery itself is charming and they have plenty of seating indoors as well as a little bench outside.

The tables are quite low, so this really isn't a great place to get a ton of work done in my opinion, as well as the fact that the Wi-Fi only works for 30 minutes and after that, you need to go back up and get another receipt for a code. A friend and I came here to work on a Friday. They have wifi (the password is on a small slip of paper next to the pastries and cashier). I ordered the Nako Matcha Latte ($8) and a Black Sesame Pastry ($8). The latte came in an aesthetic ceramic mug, so definitely recommend getting your drink hot instead of cold. The black sesame pastry was also amazing with flakey layers outside and a luscious creamy black sesame filling. I was not expecting so much filling in this, which was nice. This was such a treat to enjoy and this pastry needs more hype. I spent a few hours here and it was perfect. They have a good amount of seating including a larger communal table in the back. I enjoyed the seats in the front next to the windows though. Everything was nice and clean. Such a great spot to relax, chill, and get some work done.
