Look how perfectly golden this botato round is. You can hear the crunch in the pic!

I know I'm late but WHY are these Bo-Tato Rounds sooo good?!? It's like is an onion ring and hashbrowns had a baby except the hash browns had the stronger genes (90% hash & 10% onion ring) They were perfectly round, crispy and absolutely delicious! Nice and fresh and they are big enough to where you only get four in the bag but paired with the Cajun chicken biscuit or the Bo sausage sandwich ( also CRAZY good!) this is definitely one of my new favorite things!

    Because yeah lol

Easy solid four or more. I don't do a whole lot of fast food these days but Bojangles for me is always a real treat and this location's been reasonably solid. I like them better than some of the other chicken guys and was sort of sore when they had to close up for a little while.

I was genuinely excited when I heard Bojangles in Sanford was reopening after nearly a year of being closed due to an electrical fire. I've always loved their breakfast biscuit sandwiches and sweet tea, so I made a point to stop by on their first day back. There were a few familiar faces working, which was nice to see, and while there were some trainees on staff (understandable on day one), the delay in the drive-thru was minimal and handled well. I ordered a chicken biscuit, bacon, egg & cheese biscuit, and a sweet tea--my usual go-to order. Sadly, that's where the excitement ended. The biscuits just weren't the same. They used to be soft, buttery, flaky, and had that homemade taste that set them apart. Now, they seem pre-made and bland, missing that fresh, comforting flavor. The chicken was also noticeably smaller and lacked the crispy, juicy texture it used to have. The bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit had barely any bacon, and the eggs were paper-thin. Even the sweet tea, which I used to rave about, tasted off--less sweet and not as bold in flavor. It really feels like there's been a decline in quality, which is heartbreaking for a place that used to be my go-to breakfast spot. Before the fire, Bojangles stood out from the many chicken restaurants on the same road. Now? It feels like just another fast-food option, and not one I'll be rushing back to. Individual Ratings: Food: Service: Atmosphere: N/A (Drive-thru) Value: Tip: If you were a fan of the biscuits and tea pre-fire, manage your expectations--things seem to have changed quite a bit. On the way to a high school graduation, I was able to stop by Bojangles. The double drive thru was open and the waiter was nice. I asked for a menu and he had no problem going to get one. I ordered a Sausage Egg and Cheese Biscuit, Bo Rounds, Peach Cobbler Biscuit and Lemonade. All of the food came out great. It definitely gave me flashbacks of my days at NC State in Raleigh, NC.

    chicken that wasnt mine

the fries taste funny, milkshakes take eons to make, people at panda express across the street are attempting to push a car because they have a dead battery, NO napkins, NO covers, Dr. Pepper was sub average, worker spilt ice tea all over herself, and more people are attempting to push the car and have now succeeded. chicken is very good and goes well with honey mustard that the worker had trouble finding. 2 stars.

This place really surprised me in a good way. A lot of the chain fried chicken places have gone so downhill that I don't even bother going anymore. First off FYI: there are no chicken pieces here or at any location in Florida they let me know when I visited this location. Only strips, chicken sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches. So at first I was a little disappointed but I said hell I'm already here. I ordered the 3 strips meal, dirty rice and it comes with a drink and biscuit. The chicken was nice and crispy, great taste, a little spice. I was shocked, these strips taste like white meat chicken pieces. Then I took a bite of the dirty rice, very tasty with pieces of meat in it. The biscuit is soft, moist and buttery. I am excited at this point that everything is hittin. The tea was very sweet but it's sweet tea, that should be expected. The service was awesome, they explained everything to me as a newbie with a smile and I had a lot of questions. The food was fresh. I have no complaints. I will definitely be back soon, now that I know this is a solid chicken spot!

Bojangles I am pleased to announced that I haven't had Bojangles since 2016 I was happy to see this was in passing while I was on my way to deland. I went in for a quick bite to eat and it made me reminisce to when I had it during college days. The staff was very friendly and very tentative. They always are as I have been here a couple of times. MENU HACK: when go for breakfast order any of the sandwich's on a bo berry biscuit and if you feel extra risky order it with glaze you will not be disappointed!

    Three Piece Chicken Tender Meal
    Ronnald M.

I stopped by for lunch on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. I hadn't been to a Bojangles for some time since the chain left the Orlando area a few years back. This is their reentry into the market and I had to give the Charlotte, North Carolina based company a welcoming try. I was greeted warmly as soon as I entered and the cashier, Kimora, provided me insight as to their menu. I was itching to try their bone-in chicken however, I was advised this location only carries boneless chicken products...so chicken tenders it was. I ordered the three piece chicken tender meal which comes with a dipping sauce, side, and drink. For $8.99, this was a veritable bargain. The chicken tenders were crispy, juicy and with just the right amount of Cajun batter seasoning. The biscuit was fluffy with a nice, crisp exterior. The coleslaw is mayonnaise-based and had a light creaminess with a sweet taste. Yum all around! I'm looking forward to the opening of additional Bojangles locations in the Orlando metro.

I was in the area and decided to stop by after having a few drinks downtown. Came right before it was close and did a drive thru order. All I saw on their menu were kids meals and the chicken tender combos. I opt for the 3 piece tender and a side of Mac and cheese with a biscuit. I enjoyed their tenders, they were big crispy and tender. Their house made ranch went well with the chicken. I gave my Mac and cheese away, but it did look good. Drive thru staff were friendly and got my food in a timely manner.

When I got home, I realized one of the sandwiches from our order was missing. The side and drink for that combo were in the bag, but the sandwich itself was not. By the time I noticed, we were already home. I went into the app where I placed the order, and they did issue a credit for the missing sandwich toward a future purchase, which I appreciated. However, that did not solve the immediate issue. My son was left without his sandwich, so I ended up giving him mine and going without dinner myself. A credit for later does not fix the inconvenience in the moment. The food we did receive was also not up to the usual standard. The fries and sandwich were cold and had to be reheated. The cherry Coke tasted flat, which added to the overall letdown. Chick-fil-A has built a reputation on quality control and attention to detail, so when those things slip, it stands out. I understand mistakes happen, but missing items and cold food from a brand known for excellence feels like a noticeable shift. I hope this was just an off visit, but consistency is what makes this brand stand out in the first place. I've been to this McDonald's about six times now, and it's officially my favorite location. The…read moremain reason? The service. Everybody in there is genuinely nice, my food is always made fresh, and there's never any attitude. Also, let's address the elephant in the room -- the ice cream machine is NEVER broken. I don't even order ice cream like that, but when I do want a McFlurry, it's always available. Now here's what really made me happy. I was ordering four cookies (two orders of two), and the total came out to around $5.59. The girl at the register stopped me and said, "Hey, I love the cookies too, but you know you can get 13 cookies for $6 instead of paying that for four." I was like... WHAT?! So of course I said, "Give me the 13 cookies." She rang me up, it came out to a little over six dollars, and because it was 13 cookies, they made them fresh. They pulled me up, I didn't wait long at all, got my cookies, and left happy as hell. This location never messes up my food, and honestly, if they ever did, I truly feel like they'd be kind, apologetic, and fix it without any issues. It's not a bunch of kids working here -- it's adults who don't have time to play, and maybe that's why the service is consistently good. The store is always clean, everything is fresh, and yeah... it's McDonald's -- but not every fast-food spot gives this level of service. I think it's important to shout out locations that do it right. Special shoutout to Hannah (with the red hair) who works the drive-through and put me on to the 13 cookies for $6 deal. She was extremely nice and had great customer service. This McDonald's is hands down my favorite location.

A few years back, this store was renovated and it was the hot spot for a minute but now not so much. We had some family in town and were picking up a few to-go items for a quick dinner. The first thing we noticed upon arrival was that Both the McDonalds and Denny's lighted store signs were off. Not a big deal for us but if I was the business owner, I would be all over that. Once inside I waited at least 5 minutes to place an order. Not bad but there was no one in front of me and maybe two or three cars in the drive thru. The main register clerk was in the back and the other workers seemed to be standing around and did not acknowledge my presence. The odd thing about the whole experience was one of the male workers was walking around between the register area and where the guests would wait in line (where I was standing) with his arm in a makeshift sling. He was using a cotton web style Dickies belt to keep his arm in a sling-like-position but was wandering around doing nothing. How hard would it be to say "someone will be right with you"? I ordered two 6-piece McNugget's and two McDouble's from the 2 for $3 menu. The order total was $6.42, which is not a bad deal at all. However, the register clerk neglected to add the BBQ sauce to my order, so then I waited again for someone to acknowledge my presence. It's a shame, the manager was the one who dropped off my order but couldn't take the time to verify I was happy before, blurting out my order number then quickly walking away. Finally, the young gal working the fryer stopped what she was doing to assist. All in all, I was at McDonalds and I can't expect the best of the best, but I can expect more cohesive interaction from leaders and team members working at this store. If I return, I hope to see some changes for the better in the future.
