I took my mom here for DINNER before going to the Ontario Airport. I chose this place because my mom and hubby love Shabu Shabu and it was about 10 minutes away from the Ontario Airport. Mind you, my expectations were low because my favorite Hotpot places were in San Diego... SERVICE: A+ Excellent Service by Dan who was our hostess. He was so friendly, welcoming and helpful in explaining how to order. Our waiter was also nice and there was a Hispanic man ego was very attentive as well. He came back to ask us if we were doing ok about four to five times! Bravo to management on service!! 10/10 ITEMS: SCALLOPS, they don't get over cooked and bigger in size compared to other Shabu places. Kelp or seaweed was great. The Spinach noodles and their noodle selections had a nice variety to choose from. Ice cream is complimentary for each person. SAUCE: 8/10 The sesame sauce was watery. I highly recommend mixing the satay and Asian chili together with some garlic, cilantro, shallots and chili... AMBIANCE: 10/10 Very spacious. Not crowded on weekdays. It smells good and everything looks nice and clean... Dinner price: $38.95 Senior Price: $35.75 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOILING WORLD!

Boiling Point Hot Pot is easily one of the best lunch spots in town, offering an incredible all-you-can-eat experience for a full two hours at a great price. The dining process is super convenient and straightforward: you select your favorite soup base from options like Tonkotsu or Spicy Miso on your order sheet, choose your starting cuts of meat, and then head over to the self-serve area to round out your meal. The quality of the food across the board is top-notch--the meats arrive fresh and finely sliced, and you can reorder as much as you want at no additional charge. What truly sets this place apart, beyond the delicious food and attentive service, is the comfortable dining environment. Unlike many other hot pot restaurants where the heat leaves you sweating through your meal, the AC here is powerful and keeps the room perfectly cool. You can fully enjoy cooking your hot pot with unlimited trips to the self-serve bar for fresh veggies, sauces, seafood, noodles, and dessert without feeling uncomfortably warm. It is an all-around fantastic spot for a relaxed, delicious, and satisfying lunch.

Me and my husband discovered this place and wanted to give it a try. We never have had hot pot before so it was a new experience.. the price point was kind of high but it was all you can eat. We didn't know really what to expect. Maybe hot pot just isn't our thing. Not saying that the food was bad. It was just nothing special for us. The service was good and they explained everything to us. Maybe we need to give it one more chance.

On the pricier end, but hey, Ontario CA is a food desert. For better value. Happy Ayce Hot Pot on Valley Blvd and Rosemead Blvd., would probably provide better value with its hot bar and hot pot selection. Quite Frankly it's unbeatable if you do a dollar to food quality to variety ratio. So I went with a Tom Yum base. Figured all the blue crabs and shrimp and shrooms would make a deep Umami base for the soup. Correcto! Had a blast sipping the soup towards the end. They had great kimchi here, the hot pot content bar was very atypical of a Malatang place. Cuts of beef were ok, lamb ok. I mean, if you weren't lazy you could pull off the same thing at home, nothing fascinating. 'specially after patronizing Temple City's Migaya Wagyu Shabu Shabu House.....two totally different worlds you can actually taste. The Indonesian Hospitality here was excellent. Servers take extra effort to treat you like a house guest. And guess the highlight is the ice cream cup at the end. Overall, id say this place is better priced at 10% off.

I hadn't been back here in months, and a lot has changed. I'm really disappointed. The new management says drinks can't be taken to go, and I have to pay extra for a to-go cup. All the vegetables and fruits are sliced extremely thin, and even the corn is cut into tiny pieces, with barely anything to eat. Overall, the experience feels cheap and is nowhere near as satisfying as I expected.

It's been a while since I've been here. My boyfriend and I were craving hotpot. We looked near and far and somehow we were both drawn to go here. And I'm glad we did. We went around lunchtime, so it wasn't too busy. We were seated right away. The food at the bar was fresh. The paper they give you to self order your appetizers, drinks, meats, and dessert (ice cream) is really convenient. They give a good amount of meat portions per person. And you have up to 3 rounds to order meat. The food from the bar is unlimited. They have everything from sauces, to more appetizers or small foods, a variety of vegetables, rice, noodles, seafood, and fruits. Service was great. Our server checked up on us from time to time for drink refills, to clean up our table, and to get our paper for more food orders. Such a chill ambiance here. It's a large restaurant, so even if it gets loud, you're not talking over each other during dinner. It's very spacious, so when you're up to get your food you're not bumping into people. This was my boyfriend's first time here and he really enjoyed himself. I'm glad I took him here. This is definitely a place worth checking out if you're craving hotpot.

This is a nice restaurant with lots of food options. But it's on the pricier side (adult pricing starts at 11 years old) and only allows for meat to be ordered in only 3 rounds, which spoils the fun of AYCE and spontaneity. Food: The broths are tasty and all unique. The spicier ones (Shichuan and Soondubu) are not that spicy, but still hot and savory. Their Miso and Tonkotsu broths are safe and child friendly. Their meats were good quality and cooked quickly in the broth. The only negative is that their servings are kind of small and you only have 3 rounds to order meats. We ordered a lot of meat in round 1-2, so we were done before the third round. The bar of seafood and vegetables is nice and spacious. They offer gloves, too. Their sauce station is large and offers lots of ingredients to mix and try. The price of the meal includes an ice cream cup for each person at the end of your meal. Service: The staff is friendly and patient. They manage many tables, so it can take a while before they return to your table. Recommend ordering as many meat plates as possible in round 1 (3 plates per person). Then you might not need them to return for round 2-3. Ambiance: The restaurant is large and offers tables of various sizes for groups. They also have private rooms. Their cooking burners are easy to use and seafood/vegetables bar was replaced and cleaned off regularly. It's also located near Ontario Mills mall and walkable. This is a good restaurant, but the price is a little high for children that must pay for adult prices. We have a 12 year old that does not eat much, but had to pay full adult price. The ice cream is a nice touch, but the complications of ordering meat in only 3 rounds can be stressful for some. We probably wont return since we prefer Shabuya in Alhambra.

Used to come here a lot, haven't been back since the early years of the pandemic. We came on a Friday with a table of 9 people. They were able to seat us right away. The server was attentive. All the meat were fresh! The scallops & octopus tasted a bit fishy, crawfish was jumbo size but not much flavor. The fish & all the veggies were delicious. Loaded up on my fiber!. Restaurant & bathroom were clean. The restaurant wasn't too busy or loud for a Fri night which made dinner more enjoyable! All in all, always a good go to spot if you want a local AYCE hotpot spot in the IE.

The service here is great and this is one of the biggest hot pot. All you can eat places that is in the entire LA area. There's plenty of choices to choose from in terms of meats, vegetables, and seafood. This is probably the best one in the Ontario area. I'll be back.

This is noe my top go to shabu hot pot spot. This place has the cleanest and most fresh ingredients. . Crawfish was large and didnt taste frozen like other hot pot spots.. meat was fresh of course. Their sauce selection isnt the largest but the ones they do have have sooooo much flavor and depth. But not overly salty. Impressed to say the least. Every ingredient was fresh.. service is attentive. And so much variety in proteins at the bar. Ambiance is beautiful. Must try. Even the tripe was fhe best quality ive eaten. So happy my friend put me on.

My favorite hot pot place and one of my favorite restaurants in general. I love that they have many options and that it's self serve. It's a really big restaurant with plenty of seating. Although i will say if you go on a busy day it may be slower service because they be understaffed at times. Overall i enjoy the quality of the meat and seafood here and my go to soup base is the spicy miso. It can be costly at almost 40 per person for dinner but it's worth if you really like hot pot.

The variety was solid across the board: plenty of vegetable options, a decent meat selection, and a sauce bar that was fully stacked and self-serve. Made it easy to build your own bowl exactly how you like it. The soup base options were good too. I noticed other reviews mention bad service or long wait times, but since most things are self-serve, that wasn't really an issue for us -- we came at noon on a weekday and everything was fine. One thing to note -- they don't have a separate kids price, so keep that in mind if you're bringing little ones. Overall, solid AYCE hotpot spot for the price, even if it's not a standout.

Unfortunately, our family's experience was a huge disappointment. The restaurant was nearly empty, with plenty of open tables, yet we were asked to wait 25 minutes. It was already close to 8 PM! After finally being seated, we found that the dishes and bowls were not even ready because the staff was still washing them. We paid nearly $46 per person for the premium dining option, expecting fresh seafood and good-quality food. However, the seafood didn't seem fresh, and the shrimp and squid appeared to be in poor condition. The promotional video showed a variety of seafood, including oysters and mussels, but I didn't see those items being served during our visit. The Wagyu beef took far too long to arrive every time we ordered it, and the soup broth tasted like plain water with almost no flavor. Even the kids' food was disappointing. The French fries were so underwhelming that I could make better ones at home! For $46 per person, I expected much better food quality and service. Between the long wait, unprepared dishes, slow service, disappointing food, and questionable seafood freshness, this experience was absolutely not worth the money. The promotional video created high expectations, but the actual experience was the complete opposite. Our family will not be returning, and I would not recommend this restaurant at this price.

It was lunchtime and wasn't too busy, so I was seated immediately. I noticed nobody was eating shabu shabu, which I thought was kinda weird. Then they handed me a brunch menu and I was confused lol. I almost got up and left because I specifically came for shabu shabu. Nothing against brunch, just wasn't what I was craving. Luckily, the waitress told me they could still serve shabu, so I was like bet, I'm down. I ordered the large ribeye set and also got the chicken curry katsu. The curry came out pretty quickly and was decent, but the portion was kinda small. I literally finished the whole thing before my shabu even came out. I ended up waiting over 30 minutes for the shabu portion. The meat itself was good, but that was about it. They didn't bring out the sauces or the rice that was supposed to come with the set. I also ordered a side of udon that never showed up. When the bill came, I had to ask them to remove the items that never arrived, but the servers weren't really on top of things that day. It was just one thing after another. Overall, what was supposed to be a nice Saturday lunch turned into a pretty stressful experience. The meat was good, but the long wait, missing items, and lack of attention from the staff really ruined it for me. I didn't even bother taking a photo of the shabu because I was already over it lol. Honestly, I should've gone somewhere else. Would not come back.
