So, I've been making my way around a few Happy Hour spots lately, and while I was in the…read moreneighborhood, I decided to stop by Kitchen Social. What a pleasant surprise. The restaurant has a bright, airy atmosphere that feels welcoming even on a slightly cloudy day. The staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful from the moment we arrived. Their Happy Hour menu offered several tempting options, and we sampled a variety of dishes. We started with the Crispy Thai Shrimp, which delivered the perfect balance of sweetness and heat. Kitchen Social is known for its artisan dough pizzas, so we ordered the mushroom pizza, and it certainly did not disappoint. We also tried the Korean BBQ Cauliflower and the Shrimp & Grits...both flavorful and well executed. Since it was Happy Hour, we naturally enjoyed a few cocktails to accompany the meal. We sampled both the Maple Old Fashioned and the traditional Old Fashioned, then ventured a bit further with the Tequila Thyme and the Sangria. Each cocktail was well crafted and enjoyable in its own right. Best of all, because it was Happy Hour, the experience was easy on the wallet. Great food, excellent service, enjoyable drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere make Kitchen Social a place I'll definitely be returning to.

You pick either a sandwich (which is what we got), a salad, or a humus plate. Then you pick your protein. When you go up to order, you pick which toppings and sauce you want too. It was so good! I was impressed. And very filling! The fries were also tasty. The cookie though, I would skip. And all the employees were so nice and friendly! Oh, and there's also a little patio too!

I ordered the Crispy Brussels and she selected the Roasted Garlic Whipped Mascarpone. The pasta was delicious. And so were the Brussels. The Whipped Mascarpone was OK, although both of us thought the combination of the cheese, garlic, lemon, and pretzel crackers were a little too much. Both thought the garlic was too forward, and the mascarpone would have been better with just the lemon and/or perhaps with a touch of honey...even hot honey. The portions were all huge and we each took an additional meal home. Ordered coffee to end the evening and were delighted that they came as French Press coffee rather than just regular brewed. The venue is very nice albeit quite loud. Conversation was challenging, but manageable. We will be back.

They also usually have a very unique cocktail menu, but this time they didn't have one which was disappointing. They just had their regular cocktail/drink menu, but we still really enjoyed our cocktails. To start we got the hummus and rosemary focaccia. The focaccia was sooo soft and delicious. I especially loved the whipped fig honey butter. For my entree, I got the Thai spicy chicken sandwich and it was sooo good. I wanted to finish it but I think I filled up on too much bread lol. I felt like the fries didn't really add anything to it and were a bit plain and meh. I liked the fingerling potatoes a lot more. Their desserts are amazing. I chose the hazelnut tart and it was creamy and delicious. My boyfriend got the cheese ice cream plate and I thought it was so cute and unique!

The staff here is an All-Star team that made my experience feel wholeheartedly welcome and I belonged. This place has a lot of interesting people here as well that were great to chat with. Restrooms here are all so very clean and even the prices are pretty good for what they are. Google says they close at 10 o'clock it says when they close but they'll close whenever they feel like to be honest. I absolutely enjoy my time here especially since that they were playing Dexter's Laboratory on their big screen next door! I was not expecting that. They have a great selection of alcohol as well and a lot of alcohol I've never seen before. They have great deals after 9:00. I highly recommend checking this place out because I do believe it's a one-of-a-kind place. The staff cooks and fries your food right in front of you, so you know the food comes out fresh and hot. And everything was delicious. The tasty onion rings had a thick, crispy batter, and the fries were great as well. But the star of my meal was, of course, the chicken. The wings and tenders were perfectly cooked. They were well-seasoned and glistening with juice on the inside. The restaurant doesn't believe in drenching their chicken with sauce, and why would they when the chicken on its own was so freaking delicious? Not to say that I didn't enjoy dipping my wings and tenders into the BBQ sauce and honey mustard, but the chicken didn't NEED the sauces. I washed down my food with sweet tea, which is complimentary if you buy food. The staff here is also SO friendly. They truly make you feel welcome. Can't wait to come here again!

We started with the calamari as an appetizer, and it was delicious. The portion was large and perfect for sharing. My son was in the mood for pizza, so he ordered the Margherita Pizza, while my husband went with the Whiskey Burger and fries. I ordered the Shiitake Garlic Noodles, which are listed as an appetizer, but the portion was so generous that it was an entire meal and very filling. I added broccoli that was cooked perfectly and It was delicious! Everyone left happy and full, which is always a win. The facility is far bigger than I thought it would be. They have a central restaurant with multiple party centers on either side. It's a really BIG facility. New, modern, and quite attractive. With plenty of convenient parking. The wall of the restaurant that faces Cleveland Hopkins Airport is all glass. It affords you quite an impressive view of the airport and the planes landing. The staff we met was pleasant and efficient. Our server, Mina, did an excellent job all night. If there was a weak point, it would be the food. It was not bad (I'm trying to be kind); it was just uninspired, limited, and not really well prepared. Because they do not offer bread for the table our only option was to order the "Soft Pretzel". It arrived badly overcooked, crunchy not soft, and even boardering on burnt. The charcuterie board was OK, but uninspired. I ordered the "Lemon Chicken" which was a full half chicken in a reasonably good sauce. But the meat was dry and it came only with brussel sprouts (yuk!). My wife had the "Walleye" which she simply said was "okay"... oh well. Our guests weren't any more impressed than we were. I will say our coffee and "Pot de Creme" were very good... thank goodness. All in all, our overall experience was "meh"... just "meh". Sorry - really probably should be 3.5

Celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary called for something simple, yet memorable--and The…read moreAviator delivered exactly that. We dropped in for Happy Hour, looking for cocktails and a few bites, and were immediately struck by the well-appointed space. The runway views at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport added an unexpected layer of entertainment--watching planes take off and land while toasting 14 years of marital bliss felt like the perfect backdrop. We started strong with a French 75 and an Old Fashioned--both expertly crafted, but that Old Fashioned? Smooth, balanced, and memorable enough to set the tone for the entire evening. Wednesday happens to be Wing Day ($2 whole wings), and we took full advantage. We sampled Buffalo, Sweet & Tangy BBQ, Lemon Pepper Dry Rub, and the undeniable star of the show: Garlic Parmesan. Each had its own personality, but that Garlic Parmesan was simply elite. Service was impeccable--Emily was attentive without being intrusive, making sure our experience flowed as effortlessly as the cocktails. Speaking of which, round two brought a Cosmo alongside a repeat of that Old Fashioned...because when you find the right note, you stay in that key. For food, we shared the French Dip Baguette--shaved prime rib, provolone, horseradish aioli, and au jus done right--and paired it with the Mega Crunch Fries, elevated with sea salt, rosemary, and a light truffle oil drizzle. Simple menu items, executed with intention. We closed the evening the same way we began--together, with one final round of Old Fashioneds. A Happy Hour well spent. A celebration well honored. A 14-year journey still taking off.
