Five stars if you're looking for healthy food; four if you're just looking to grab quick grub. The new place in town, across from the BW north campus. Super healthy food, focused on bowls, salads, and smoothies. Their specialties are bowls featuring açaí and other superfoods, but they have a variety of, including a kid's menu with grilled cheese. Counter service, but tables to eat at (and a patio facing Front Street, although it was closed because we came in winter). Clean, well-lit, very friendly. Parking in back.

Leaving the Cleveland airport, I needed an açaí bowl. A quick search turned up Vitality Bowls! Every single thing on the menu sounded amazing. The girl working here answered my questions and helped me narrow down my selection! I was very happy with the nutty bowl. Plenty of parking in back, patio seating out front, nice decor and plenty of seating inside. A little on the pricey side but with that comes lots of quality ingredients.

Grand Opening today July 28. Patio isn't open yet but the inside is really nice & new. Staff is super nice and explaining the menu to every customer. Lines are long, and they have a lot of people making the food but they are untrained so it's going slow which is understandable since it's BOGO day. They have bowls, smoothies, salads, sandwiches, wraps, toasts, & juices. We ordered the Tropical bowl and the Nutty bowl. These Açaí bowls were delicious and loaded w/ many ingredients (Basically a smoothie bowl with toppings). Similar bases but a little different on toppings. Everything was super fresh tasting and had good consistencies. Portions could've been a little bit larger, considering the high price, but you are receiving good ingredients. They gave out coupons so we will be back to cash those in & try more items. Heard they will be on the BW meal dining plan for students. Look for that option Yellowjackets.

It's popular with students, with educators, with local residents, and with whomever has had it recommended to them ... like me. I have had two people tell me about Cafe Ah-Roma and one was a local friend who now prefers coffeehouses in suburbs closer to the lake. Regardless, everyone you ask about it seems to know exactly where Cafe Ah-Roma is. When first told about it, I thought it had something to do with Rome. It then became very obvious it's a play on the word aroma that will additionally have you making an "ah" sound for relief and/or elation. The interior is comfortable like an old shoe and, based on the postings, art work, and vibe, the store has real connectedness to its community. Note that this area leans slightly liberal but not ridiculously so. That means you might even see a Karen or two in here. Also, true to the notion that "culture comes from the top down," the staff that helps you, often students, are very polite and customer-focused when the chain coffeehouses are almost at the point of sliding things at you. These are good values that the owners are passing on to employees and, here, it's about the customers. They want to know that you are happy with your purchase. I want to add that, to go with your coffee or tea, they have cookies, pastries, or could put together something savory for you. In my case, I added a tomato basil bagel with a vegetable spread that they made for me. It's all good. The prices for menu items are also fair. This coffeehouse is in the suburb immediately south of the international airport. Only a few hotels are north of CLE, with most of them being south in Berea or Middleburg Heights. If staying at a nearby hotel, this locale is nearby. Cafe Ah-Roma is for everyone and the broad customer base is really interesting. In more temperate weather, there are exterior chairs and tables under the covered walkway to nearby stores. The interior is fairly spacious and bright. In closing, Ah-Roma deserves high marks for being a good coffeehouse (4 stars) and then some, hence 5 stars.

My search didn't take me long, as I quickly found Express Deli: 5 minutes from the airport with an absurdly good rating. I don't always love ruben's, mostly because I'm not the biggest corn beef fan, but when they are done well, I am down. And I figured a place with a 4.9 rating would probably hit the spot. I think it did! I assume the mustached man who was a mirror image of the mascot was the owner, and he couldn't have been friendlier. There were only a couple of tables in here, so we sat down to ate, while a steady crowd of pick-up orders flowed through on a Friday at lunch time. My friend absolutely *insisted* I mention that they do not have parking spot lines painted in their lot. I am not one to turn down a dare, but I also acknowledge that these are the most inconsequential words I've ever typed in over 3,500 reviews. If you were to rank my priorities when evaluating a sandwich, the parking spot lines wouldn't crack the top 500. But my job is done here.

Anyone who only gives 4/5 or 5/5 food doesn't know a damn thing about food or service. First watch has perfected the 'one-off diner' experience in a chain. They have a great, full menu, like what Denny's used to be, only on steroids. Their menu: They offer all the favorites. From Eggs Benedict, to Sausage and Gravy to your usual breakfast staples you'd expect from a breakfast-diner experience. Although they do serve sandwiches, I don't recommend them. Breakfast/brunch food is their strong suit. Their pancakes are nice and fluffy and they offer a variety of them from blueberry to banana. Waffles galore, and toast with jam. They know how to make eggs any way you want them. The Ambiance: It's very much a diner experience with diner service. It's passable. That's all you need. Not exceptional, not poor. The good news is that no matter what location. You go to, (I've been to 3), there is always a short wait list, which is a good sign. You're never waiting long, just be patient. It's a sturdy, good experience! Don't downplay a 3 star review. I'm honest. One or Two stars? I'd be careful. But repect the 3 star review as good, reliable, and worth visiting! Please stand for the Creed....
