The cafe is larger than expected. Spans far back where they have a tv set up, carom board game, and an area with a number of board games you can play while you dine. They have a large variety of drinks ranging from chai, lattes, boba, spritzers, mocktails, and plenty of desserts. The staff didn't seem too informed about the menu items or drinks, which was a bit disappointing. I relied on some online reviews to decide on my order. The saffron karak chai was very good and comes out piping hot. I would prefer if they served this in an actual mug (rather than paper cup) especially if dining in. It was filled to the brim and spilled, not to mention putting a steaming hot drink in a paper cup. Nonetheless, the chair was good. More folks eventually started to come in so I can imagine this place gets noisy as it fills up. There was a women's group meeting all sitting in a circle on the floor in the front of the cafe. Perhaps they host group events? Not sure if there were any vegan options or egg free desserts, but check out the chai.

A great cafe in Middleburg Heights!…read more My friend and I got mojitos ($7 each), a green apple fruit pastry ($15), and a slice of caramel tres leches cake ($7). I ordered the blue raspberry mojito, and it was refreshing and the right amount of sweet. My friend said it tasted like a blue Jolly Rancher, and she was absolutely right. I liked the design of the green apple fruit pastry, and it caught my eye when I saw it in the case. Luckily, I also liked the taste. The green part is a hard white chocolate shell, and inside were mousse, cake, and an apple puree with apple chunks. The inside was especially delightful, and both the mousse and cake were light and airy. I just wish the pastry was bigger - especially for the price, but I get that you're also paying for the aesthetic, and I was a fan of the aesthetic! The tres leches cake was rich and scrumptious. The cake was so moist and sweet. If you don't like your cakes REALLY sweet, you might not like the tres leches cake, but as I have a sweet tooth, I adored the cake. The decor and vibes were also great. Not too loud and a good spot if you want to work for a couple of hours.

Trust Coffee has a nice assortment of options to choose from for coffee and tea drinkers alike. LUNCH -- I ordered the Herbed Chicken breast sandwich ($14) and the Arnold Palmer iced-tea drink ($6). The chicken sandwich has a peach spread or compote that tasted good but to me, it was a bit too much peach in there. The sandwich tasted good though and I liked the greens (arugula?) in there. The Arnold Palmer drink has blood herbal tea, Rosemary maple, and maple syrup. I can't wait to return on a weekday or weekend morning to try their pastries. I mentioned that I didn't realize when I had been there prior that they had one so the barista gave me an extra punch! I usually go for a basic iced latte - caramel or Irish cream with a milk alternative but they do have fun drinks listed as their specials. Their coffee is good - I need to try a speciality latte next time. They also have some pastries. I've had the bacon cheddar quiche which is delicious and their muffins. Recently I tried the apple chai and blueberry muffins. They warm everything up for you and give you little pats of Irish butter. This is such a great little neighborhood place that I will continue to visit!

The music is upbeat yet not distracting for studying or working, I feel like it helped keeping me upbeat and motivated. The seating area is large, tons of different places to sit in variety of chair and table types and I love the subtle flow into a courtyard area with outdoor seating. It also happens to be an important lyric in the fourth movement of Beethoven 9. In any event, this place lived up to that. The location is off Lake Road and they have interior seating and a beautiful pergola during the warmer months. I sat on the pergola and enjoyed some beautiful background music. I had their salmon avocado toast that was honestly perfect. Normally with this type of toast it doesn't lend well to knife/fork action, but this was an exception! The toast was somehow crunch yet soft enough to be cut. The avocado was nice and salty, and the salmon was flavorful. The cherry tomatoes also added some nice contrast. I was told that the toast might be filling enough, and it could've been, but I had to try a crepe, so I got one! I was just about to go get some water from their water jar inside, but then without missing a beat, the server provided me with a water bottle. The blackberry crepe I ordered was super purple, colorful, and just as fun to eat as it was to look at. Overall, this is a wonderful find in Avon Lake, and it's worth a brunch stop for anyone interested in a quaint lakeside joint!

Both owners provided rude and poor customer service…read more Two owners treated me with disrespectful behavior and attitude. Despite being alone and ordering a coffee, I was minding my business and trying to enjoy my cup. The owners were disruptive because I moved to the limited window seat. The male owner approached me and asked how long I would be sitting there, despite having a reservation in 30 minutes. He then came back and said they arrived early and asked how long I was staying. His partner, possibly the wife, set a wooden table note with a time at the same time of beginning the conversation. I didn't move because I knew this behavior and lack of service were below even being poor quality. I heard one of them say they would possibly call the police. I don't know about you, but food and beverage quality from lack of poor service is unacceptable. I only made a mistake if I was charged dine-in tax, but I still didn't deserve this treatment. The male owner mocked me for going out to my car, which has no bearing on enjoying coffee or timelines. Word of mouth and reviews are everything to a business, and I read the reviews from prior patrons, which clearly show their unprofessional and uncaring attitude towards the community. I believe these two individuals need training in running a professional cafe. I will not be coming back here, and the coffee shop down the road, Love Coffee Roasters, is much better. We did a long run and wanted a quick breakfast afterwards without feeling like crap, Yelp to the rescue...so we stopped in the nourishing nook for a quick bite and caffeine hit. The menu was simple, offering a combination of breakfast and lunch options with juices and plenty of caffeine. We opted for breakfast basics, the avocado toast was a big serving, perfectly ripe avocados with a hint of lemon, delicious. My husband loved the maple sausage egg sandwich with cheese. Now on to the star, the chai was fantastic hot and spicy and the coffees, even got it to go, were fresh ground and made to order. If you need to host an event, they event have a gathering room in the back of the cafe. Unfortunately, the crepe consistency wasn't quite right and it felt like there was more or a different kind of flour than what I have experienced in most places I have eaten them.
