The absolute best restaurant in Doylestown. There isn't a meal that we've had that wasn't amazing. Staff is great and the owner, Rafaa, has a fabulous heart, always giving back to the community. Do yourself a favor and eat here. read more

What an amazing meal!! We did a4 course dinner menu. This included salad, pasta, entree, and dessert, as well as beverages. Loved that it's byob. Food was absolutely delicious!!! Staff was wonderful and very helpful. They also made accommodations for a dietary restrictions. Can't wait to go again!!! read more

wonderful birthday dinner. Great service and meal. Enjoyed the after-dinner birthday cake that they surprised me with and lemon liquor complimentary after-dinner drink. read more

Amazing food and service. The owner was here and made sure everything was perfect. The food is outstanding and the price may be higher but that's because it is all fresh and amazing definitely worth a visit. Will come here all the time read more

Fabulous place! Had a great dinner. Great service, the food is even better. We had calamari to start; pasta with chicken, chicken piccata and salmon with gnocchi and vodka sauce. All delicious! Cannoli and pistachio cake. Tasted like they were just made. We will be back! read more

I really don't see what the hype is all about. We tried the Spaghetti Bolognese and Crab Ravioli. The food is pretty bland and it's very expensive. I could make better pasta with store bought sauce. Would not recommend. read more

You should eat here. I did. I plan on doing so again. Maybe we can share a table? Or maybe not. You're probably busy. That's OK. I won't take it personally. So 5 stars from me. We stopped in on a busy Saturday night sans reservation. The very friendly owner told us he had a not-great table we could have right away but if we waited 30 minutes we could have a better table. We went across the street and bought some wine (BYOB!), stopped at MOM's for a drink, and then claimed our table at the appointed time. Service was good but not rushed. The menu notes that everything is cooked to order, so make sure to go with people you like so you can relax and enjoy the evening. But listen, the wait was not that long. I don't want you to think that. And they kept us busy with yummy bread and some tasty little snacks that were sent out even though we didn't order them. So you know, even if you go with people don't enjoy, you can probably keep your piehole occupied with food rather than conversation. I got the eggplant parm. It had a fancier name than that, but that's what I'm going to call it because I don't feel like looking it up. I told our server about my love for red sauce and she suggested this dish. It was a winner. My man got some sausagey mushroomy creamy pasta thing. It was so good that I continued to eat off of his plate after he was done. And then the next night I felt like having that very dinner again, but was perplexed to find that we didn't just happen to have some hanging around our kitchen. (What the heck is wrong with our kitchen?) We weren't going to get dessert. But then I saw creampuffs and I caved. I love creampuffs so much. Like a crazy lot. These were good but I would've liked a little less sauce on top. What can I say? I like a dry puff. Oh yeah. They also gave us complimentary homemade Limoncello after dinner. We'd only had Limoncello once before and we didn't exactly love it. We liked this a lot. The place is small -- it occupies the old burger joint spot. Every table was full when we were there but it didn't feel too congested. I'd say it was similar to New York-style dining. We weren't particularly dressed up -- nice jeans and spiffy tops -- and the other diners were about in our range or nicer. You know, make an effort. This place is off to a great start. Hopefully they can keep up the momentum. See you there? read more

Last night, I decided to order from Bocelli's and I ordered penne alla vodka! One word! WOW!! For the first time trying this place, I was absolutely blown away how good it was. It also came with bread, salad, and a desert. The staff is absolutely accommodating and friendly and had my order ready to go when I arrived! Thank you so much Bocelli's! Your the best! read more

The food here is scrumptious, end of story. It is delectable. We go to Bocellis as a special treat, it is a bit pricey but worth every penny. The weekday lunch specials are more affordable & portions sized just right. A nice way to try other things on the menu. Also I believe it's BYO which is always a great money saver. We used Bocellis for an 80th bitrhday party a few weeks ago, and the owner was a pleasure to work with. We were able to order what we wanted, even if it wasn't exactly on the catering menu. And the servings were more than generous. We got many, many compliments from our guests on the meal, and we enjoyed the leftovers for days. Can't beat it. This is a 5 star restaurant you should try! Our favorites: Chicken Francese, Lasagna Bolognese, & Penne w/vodka sauce. read more

Had dinner last night. Four People. Food was excellent. We all had different chicken meals. Service was fantastic. Great Experience.

Went there, 1st time, for my birthday. They didn't know it. We were offered a complimentary app and at the end, upon ordering dessert, we were given comp limoncello shots. Food was a 10! I had a fish special- delicious!! My husband had the chix Marsala - seasoned well - soooo good! Veggies were sautéed perfectly! Staff was awesome & working hard! Can't say enough! You gotta try it!! We'll be back! read more

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The food was the best Italian I've ever had, and the staff and owner were so kind and fun! I will come back any time I want pasta. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Ordered dinner through Uber eats lastnight, however the restaurant shorted us an entire meal that we paid for and made the executive decision to leave a part of another meal out that we never instructed to be left out (which they admitted). The ticket on the delivery bag was hand written incorrectly and they repeatedly tried to blame Uber for their mistake. We called and told them we had a family member without a meal because of their mistake, and they promised they would fix it and give us the meal we were missing and remake the pasta they messed up on the house for tonight (the next day), so we could enjoy a meal together. Which we were happy that they wanted to make amends. When I called to take them up on the offered since they over charged and under delivered, the manager was very hostile in saying that he would not remake the meal as promised and said we already received the pasta anyway although lacking the ingredients mentioned. The MANAGER, told me since he "tried to be nice" i should just go through Uber to dispute the charge and try to get a refund myself. If that's how they run a business, punishing the customer for their mistakes then being rude about it, I can promise you they'll never have my business again and I'll be more than happy to spread the word. Especially after working in the food service industry for 7 years I am appalled by their unprofessional practices. P.s. The food isn't even worth the price. Might as well buy frozen entrees and save your money. read more

A casual and unassuming BYO serving excellent Italian standards. We were seated by a young boy who was all of fourteen, and the two female servers were also quite young. I confess we thought this did not bode well, but were thrilled that all three were charming, competent and effective. Our outstanding meal was spinach-stuffed mushrooms to start, and veal chop mains (his with the offered risotto, and mine with the house potato and vegetables). The food was excellent, and the service restored my husband's faith in the future of humanity! We recommend the restaurant highly, and plan to return. read more

Made reservations for 6:30 and was asked if I could leave by 8:00 so another reservation could be filled. I said yes. The food was good, the service quick. We got the bill and paid with cash. I clearly needed change but the server didn't come back with my change. When I asked for my change she brought it back and asked us to leave saying the table was needed for 8:00. My clock said 7:52. I said, "we'll leave at 8". I looked around and there were two empty tables so I wasn't sure why we were being rushed. Overall not a good experience and won't ever go back. read more

I wish I could express what an awesome experience we had with Bocellis catering! The food was excellent and everyone raved about it at our 20 person gathering. There was plenty of food to go around between the crab ravioli, vodka penne, chicken marsala and veal saltimboca. Bocellis threw in salad and a dessert for free!! They delivered to us and were right on time. We have eaten in the restaurant as well and same thing- amazing food and great people. Go support this awesome local business! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Bocelli's. We have gone to dinner there many times and it's always delicious. We decided to have Bocelli's cater our wedding since they are one of our favorite restaurants in Doylestown. Once again, the food couldn't of been better! We got a ton of compliments on the food and are so happy that we chose Bocelli's. The owner, Rafaa is a pillar of the Doylestown community and is constantly donating food to our healthcare workers and to families in need. Thank you Bocelli's for making our special day that much more special! read more

During this Covid-19 shut down they created a great family special. It is delicious. They have been a fav of mine during normal operation. I love the carbonara. Im so happy they are finding a niche to get them through the tough shut down. read more

I ordered take out first time. The food was fabulous so glad I did it . Would love to do this again

A fantastic new hot spot! Wow, this restaurant is so quaint and cute. The owners are literally the nicest people in town. They make you feel so at home and special as you walk in their restaurant and sit down to eat. The food is fabulous! We have been there a few times now and had everything from their salads, to apps, to seafood, to pasta, to dessert... everything was magnificent!! I have not one complaint! I am so thankful we live so close and can go often. The prices are reasonable and ordering takeout was easy as well. Definitely try this restaurant for any meal and you will be pleased!! -Jessica and Clint read more

Food is always excellent! Service is always fantastic. The owner is the nicest and he has served the community in so many ways! He's donated food to the hospitals, the schools and fed the homeless at the YMCA. You will not be dissapointed! read more

Food was good...just very disappointed with the small portions...especially after we read other reviews. Will try again though

The food here is just fantastic. Everything we ordered was delicious. Our waiter was very attentive. It's a BYOB and reservations are a good idea on the weekend because it is small. read more

I finally have found a truly wonderful Italian restaurant! This quaint little paradise serves authentic, made to order dishes served piping hot and well prepared ! The portions maybe small but the focus is on exceptional quality. With the portions being smaller the nice thing is that there is always room for dessert and omg you're in for a treat! Only negative is that if you enjoy tea with your dessert their selection is non existent ! Will be back again but my own tea! read more

Service couldn't be better. Raphel & his crew did an amazing job taking care of our party of 12. Food was top notch & they were nothing but good to us. Highly recommend read more

Came here for dinner part of a group of 6. This is a small (narrow really) BYO restaurant right in the middle of Doylestown. Very affordable (our bill for 6 people with entrees salads and apps was under $200). I can't say best Italian meal I've ever eaten of course but we left happy. Good portion sizes and options, they bring out complimentary bruschetta to start as well as ricotta stuff crepes (savory) before the bread and had lots of specials being offered and the servers actually leave you alone to enjoy your meal and eat/drink (which I hope was on purpose). Improvements to be made/to be aware of are that the pasta could be a bit more al dente, the Caesar salad needs a lot of sprucing (pretty bland as is right now so I wouldn't recommend) and the red sauce on the seafood pasta fell a little flat. read more

We went there after seeing the five star reviews. They get three stars because the waiters were very nice & the dessert was good. Otherwise the food is mediocre at best. The Caesar salad lacked flavor & believe me when I tell you that the cheese they use is not Parmigiano or even a good imitation. I ordered the meat lasagna and sent it back because it lacked flavor and the meat wasn't cooked long enough. The pasta was homemade and very good, but that's not enough for a good Lasagna. One of my friends order the spinach lasagna which was much better. Another member of our party ordered chicken Abruzzi which again lacked flavor. The servers were very nice when I sent back my food and gave us a complimentary dessert as well as complimentary limoncello which they seemed to give to the other patrons as well. That was a nice touch. read more

Decided to stop in and give it a try. The menu was limited and quite expensive for the items listed. The bread came out over baked and hard. The service was lacking and we had to call the restaurant to get a server to come to our table to pay the bill. This will be a one and done for me. read more

Delicious food, great service, my new favorite restaurant in Doylestown. Went tonight with my friend, wanting to try something new. So happy we decided on Bocelli's, as we have heard from others that it is great. Complimentary bruschetta was served, then a fresh ricotta filled crepe which was light as air, amazing! I ordered the veal Marsala and my friend ordered a pasta dish with shrimp and asparagus. We both loved our meals, and sampled each other's dishes. The couple seated next to us was trying the restaurant for the first time and was also planning to return. We had a fantastic meal, excellent service and never felt rushed. And, the price was right! We were too full to try dessert, but next time I will, looked so good! BYOB, definately recommend. read more

I ate here with my family for the first time tonight and enjoyed it! The ambiance, service, and food were outstanding! I had the spaghetti bolognese and Caesar salad; they were delicious! The complimentary bruschetta and crepes with ricotta cheese were also exceptional! The mixed berry tart was delectable! I highly recommend this restaurant! read more

Service was impeccable, but the food was even better. Went with a group of 6 and every single entree was fantastic. BYOB, so the price was reasonable. Definitely recommend read more

I took my family in Doylestown on a beautiful day. We came upon Bocelli's while walking around and was so pleased with this place. Service was awesome and our dishes were superb. Had chicken Parmesan with side of spaghetti. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was fresh tasting. My wife had the Chicken Carbonara which she said was the best she ever had. read more

We came here with my parents, brother and his fiance and we had a wonderful dinner. Started out with appetizers. Got the calamari and a mushroom apetizee they were both excellent. They also brought us bruschetta, bread, and an extra app for free which was great! My dad and brother got The pollo di casa which was very good. My future sister in law got the penne con salsiccia which was excellent! My mom and husband got the farfalle asparagi e gamberi which was also very good. I liked the vitello saltimbocca that I got as well. Excellent all around. Doylestown has finally got a good italian byob. read more

Excellent all around. Great food, service and atmosphere. Definitely will return! Even better that's it's a BYOB.

Had 5:15/5:30 reservation for two, but literally forced to move to another table 45 minutes later so that they could slide our table over to accommodate a reservation for six at 6:30! Terribly awkward and embarrassing - compounded by the fact that the new table was in a horrible location near the door - could have done without the patrons entering & shaking their umbrellas and actually commenting on our food as they leaned in! We were promised complimentary menu items of appetizer, espresso & dessert, but the final bill of $76 (before tip) clearly included most of these items although it was not itemized. Not sure if they charged us for corking the wine - didn't want to extend our stay any longer by adding to the interaction with staff. Something referred to as a complimentary crepe appetizer - this needs to come off menu completely as it was nothing but soggy bread under possibly ricotta. Entrees of med rare tuna (although served close to well done) and the spinach lasagna were delicious as were the desserts; however, side veggies of cauliflower & green beans had a metallic taste. Fried calamari was rubbery and lacked that beautiful golden crispness we're used to. So much for a leisurely authentic Italian meal - I guess I need to go to Italy for that because we certainly didn't find it at Bocelli's Doylestown. Although I work in the boro, I will never go back nor can I recommend this restaurant. Entire evening handled very poorly by the unprofessional staff with attitude! https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g52511-d10005135-r399680656-Bocelli_s_Restaurant-Doylestown_Pennsylvania.html# read more

I had dinner at Bocelli's in Doylestown with my husband, and we had a wonderful evening! Rafaa, the owner was our server, and he provided 5 star service! I love the fact that Bocelli's is BYOB as it was nice to enjoy my favorite wine with dinner. The food was absolutely wonderful! It was clearly prepared with care, and attention to detail. The flavor was so good, and the variety on the menu was good too. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend that you check it out! read more

The food is delicious, and the service is friendly. The prices are very reasonable for all the food (and extras) you get. I hope they get very successful and find another space. The tables in front (mostly for lunch) are crowded and noisy, and the back area is very narrow. My friends and I go for a late lunch when it's quiet.....then it's 5 stars! read more

Went to Bocelli's last night for the first time and it was amazing! Food was excellent - I had the pollo cacciatore and my wife had the special of the night, veal chop with gnocchi in a mushroom cream sauce. Service was excellent and everyone was extremely friendly and inviting. Best Italian in the area. Will absolutely be back! read more

For those of you who have left a bad review based on this place's prices, try running a restaurant in Doylestown. It is NOT a cheap area. It's BYOB so food prices are expected to be slightly higher. I thought the pricing was par for the area. We had lobster ravioli and it was honestly one of the best vodka sauce I've ever tasted. Mom had the special which was branzino fish topped with crab, delicious. We also ordered appetizers. The calamari was my least favorite but Mom loved the clams casino and the caprese was good and reasonably priced. Dessert was great, I had limoncello cake and the home made tiramasu. Both were delicious! I will be back. read more
