How do I put into words how good this restaurant is??? Omg !! Phenomenal!! I love Italian food and this is really Italian! Not American Italian ! They start you off with a nice loaf of warm fresh bread ! Then comes a free bruschetta app! So good ! Fresh made ! After comes a sample of a vodka sauce filled crepe! No words ! Omg ! Now onto dinner , yes, dinner, I just love everything ! My favorite is to be gnocchi with the meat sauce ! They will make you what you ask for , they will substitute! This restaurant is all about service , service , service ! If I could give them a 10 star rating I would ! Don't forget about dessert ! I always order the tiramisu but I here the chocolate mousse cake is to die for! At the end of your amazing meal you are given a nice shot of Lemonceillo ! Wow! What an experience! read more

Staff was so friendly and attentive and the food was amazing! The atmosphere was fantastic. They started us off with complimentary bruschetta, then we ordered the Caesar salad, chicken francaise, and the spaghetti bolognese. Each dish was better than the last- everything was delicious. We ended the meal perfectly with complimentary limoncello, made in-house. Would highly recommend! read more

I really don't understand why this restaurant gets good reviews. Had dinner here with my husband. He ordered veal parmigiana. It was literally as tough as shoe leather. The server offered to bring him another serving that was made fresh. Really??? So obviously the first dish was sitting around and recooked. It was awful. The replacement dish was better but not wonderful. I ordered spaghetti Puttanesca. The sauce was bland, no flavor at all, with some olives and capers. It tasted like they opened a can of tomatoes, threw in some olives and capers, then served it. So far from what Puttanesca sauce should be. The salads were average at best. Dressing was not made in house. We will not return. There are so many other excellent restaurants in the area. Don't waste your money. read more

Attentive service. Great food. Everyone was extremely friendly. The Limoncello at the end was good too. Very fresh and authentic Italian cuisine. Will certainly be back to try other dishes. Needed a new Italian joint! Happy to have stumbled across this place!! read more

We rarely dine out for Italian food but Mom was visiting and that was her request for dinner. I took to Yelp searching and then fiancé remembers a great meal at Bocelli's he had in the past. Phoning in for a reservation was easy. Restaurant is BYO so bring your favorite bevi! Our server was wonderful, I feel bad I didn't grab her name. An upbeat extra friendly personality followed by efficient knowledgeable service! She listed off their nights specials so effortlessly. Mom went with a Lobster and Scallop Ravioli special that was smothered in a delicious pink vodka sauce. Fiancé had the Pollo de Casa which was a chicken breast topped with spinach, melted mozzarella and topped with lump crab meat all smothered in a lemony garlic sauce. His was served with some type of scalloped potato and a beautiful medley of vegetable. I indulged in every last nite of the Bow tie pasta with Asparagus in the heavenly pink vodka cream sauce. I substituted the shrimp for chicken easy peasy. This dish was perfection. What I loved the most was that the asparagus and chicken were diced on the smaller side so it was so easy to get a bite of pasta, asparagus and chicken in every bite. We were too full for dessert but they had quite the ordering. We will be back here for sure as my pasta dish is something I will dream about. read more

Ordered carbonara and the sauce was definitely Alfredo. No pepper, no egg, and a thick white sauce. When asked, staff said they make it similar.. disappointing dish. read more

Took a friend here for her birthday on a Sunday night after seeing a movie. Although we didn't have reservations, we were able to get seated right away. Salads were good. Service was good. Food was just okay, not much flavor. A little pricey. There is a fee for using a credit card, which was added to the check even before they knew how I was going to pay. Won't rush back as there are other less expensive Italian restaurants in the area. read more

Absolutely fantastic dinner! The food was incredible- my wife and I each got chicken parm and you're allowed to sub different sauces. We got vodka sauce which I highly recommend! Not only was the food great, but the service was even better. We received complimentary cheese crepes, bruschetta and after dinner limoncello shots. They also offer a 10% discount if you pay in cash. This was our first time there but we will definitely be back! read more

The food is always good and the wait staff are smart and attentive. Always look forward to a meal at Bocelli's

First time we had eaten out in a long time due to Covid. The owners were so nice. They gave us complementary homemade bruschetta, a crab and ricotta roll and bread for the table. The food was really great, authentic italian food. They had a ton of specials for the night. My dad enjoyed the veal. Raviolis were delicious. They also offered complimentary limoncello. Would definitely go there again. read more

Best food! Fantastic owner! BYOB Come hungry because you will savor every bite! Start with bruschetta toast and the most amazing cheese crepes. Save some room for dessert! read more

The chicken Marsala was absolutely delightful. I loved how many mushrooms were on top. The sauce was light and not drowning the chicken. It was just enough. The chicken was tender and flavorful. Complimentary Chef surprise appetizer was a crepe filled with ricotta cheese and dressed with a light pink sauce, i could have eaten all four but i decided to share the deliciousness with my husband! Arugula salad with mango, strawberries, shaved parmigiana, slivered almonds and a light vinaigrette. I can't rave enough about this salad. I could eat it every day. It's so fresh, summery and satisfying. Now to tell you about the owner. He is genuinely kind and generous. His passion for food and his restaurant and the people of this town is very apparent. I highly recommend this restaurant! read more

Wow! What a nice find in the heart of my favorite town. While there are quite a few byob Italian places that they do compete with here I must say it is definitely worth coming here to enjoy a great meal! Ok why not the 5 stars it's mainly because of two things ... sadly they can be easily missed as they are somewhat hidden. By that I mean the store front isn't jumping right out at you. Secondly, there's limited seating but it is nice get than their other location so be sure to make resies! Great observation is as soon as you walk into this place you can smell the deliciousness! That should be your first indicator that an awesome meal will be forthcoming. We started off w/the calamari and that was spot on. Lightly battered, not greasy and oh so tender! No chewiness to be had here! Onto the entrees we opted for the lobster and scallops capellini special and the filet special. Both were delish! If you don't believe me see for yourself. Oh and did I mention that it's a byob?! Perfect! read more

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Called for reservations as I had 3 other Priests for a party of 4. These (pardon my Italian Barbari's) took the reservation for 6:00 PM then told me we needed to finish by 8:00 PM as they needed our table for someone else. Boccelli's has the best Italian in the borough. I've enjoyed each time that I've visited; from the food, to the service, to the ambiance. What finally prompted me to leave a good review is a surprise I got from my mom today, saying that Boccelli's sent lunch for the entire staff at Kutz Elementary. This is incredibly generous, and appreciated. What a great example to our community. Doylestown, support this small business, if not for the kind owners, for the incredible food. read more

So lately we've been very disappointed in Italian restaurants in all greater Bucks County and we were not sure what to expect from this place as we did not find much reviews in either FB or Yelp. But this place exceeded our expectations , starting from appetizers (stuffed figs with prosciutto and cheese, fried calamari , feef carpaccio , salmon carpaccio ) to main dishes (seafood pasta with lobster in pink sauce , filet minion, veal saltimbocca), to deserts - everything was delicious !! Yes, this place is a bit pricey but I'd rather pay higher price but enjoy the food ! Definitely recommending this place ! read more

The best Italian restaurant in the Doylestown area. I've never had a bad meal here from lunch, dinner or takeout. All the food is fresh and homemade. Some of my favorites are the beef carpaccio, fettuccine Alfredo, spaghetti Bolognese, chicken Marsala and chicken Parmesan. The complimentary bread to start is always warm and delicious. Also it is BYOB if you choose to dine in which is always a plus and the lunch menu is great for 3 courses only 13.95. Definitely a must if you are looking for great food and service. read more

Overall, I thought the food at Bocelli's was pretty good, but the service was only okay (on the slow & unattentive side.) My fiance, parents, sister, and I had dinner there on a Friday last weekend. It's nice that it's BYO and that they give a discount for paying cash. My fiance shared the calamari appetizer, which was pretty solid. For my entree, I ordered the Veal Picatta, which was only ok. I liked that a number of their entrees come with steamed vegetables and potatoes (instead of pasta.) Everyone else seemed to like their food, though. read more

I have eaten here with my family several times and everything I have had here was delicious. We just ordered the family style special during Covid quarantine as the last reviewer did. Let me tell you, it was easy and fast and clean. Curbside pickup available which we did and they come out in proper PPE with things packaged properly. The dinner amazing as usual as well as an amazing bargain! It was just what we needed. Also we know locally that this business owner has generously donated food here to everyone working at the hospital. Please joining us in supporting them. read more

The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. The ambiance was also nice. A very warm place. I will definitely go back often.

Doylestown may have over 50 resturants but Bocelli's is the best! The food is amazing and the sevice is great. You feel just like you are at home. Their lunch menu is filling and well priced. They also give you warm delicious bread! I have not wanted to eat at any other restaurant besides Bocelli's. read more

I should have reviewed all the reviews prior to going. As someone else stated expensive dinner, for two, for 'local diner' food at best. Food was bland and we felt like canned sardines. Sad- the restaurant business is difficult, granted, but no excuse for the food we were served for a $100.00 meal. read more
