    Cheesesteak
    Shannon S.

Service was attentive and friendly. Pick and peel shrimp were fresh, warm and seasoned well. They could have been bigger, but the flavor was on point. The cheesesteak was freshly sliced ribeye, cooper sharp and a nice seeded roll. It had all of the elements for a great steak sandwich. We will be going back to try their pizza and pasta.

Caio Pazzo glowing up the location that once housed Crafty's. This may have a lovely bar down the center - but it's more of a restaurant than a bar. It gives hotel bar vibes. Dimly lit with wine racks surrounding giving a more of an elevated atmosphere. Offering specialty cocktails and different variety of wines that classier as well as pricier. Now onto the food- we had to try their "garlic salad" which is a mixture of Caesar and their garlic dressing along with full cloves of luscious garlic . Not a salad for those who can't handle garlic, but quite tasty for those of us who do. Onto the "traditional" Stromboli" that was chock full of pepperoni, ham, sausage, salami, mushrooms, onions, and peppers with melting oozing cheese overflowing. The Stromboli is probably one of the best I've had. Full of flavor topped with a garlic butter and sesame seeds all melting together in each perfect bite. Our service was a little slow, but what she lacked in attentiveness she more than made up for in personality. She was eager to answer our questions as well as learning a few things herself. Caio has only been open for a short amount of time, and are still ironing things out but I have a feeling they will be around for a while. Caio is part of the Allessio's seafood grill family and has a lot of tempting Italian pasta dishes on their menu and are perfect for anyone who loves seafood. We are anxious to stop back again and try out their entrees.

    Cheesesteak!!!

Wow, I just got a cheesesteak to go, and this thing is literally amazing! The seeded roll is to die for and the flavor is ridiculous. The cheese cheesesteak itself is packed up in there and the whole thing weighs pretty good. I got it very simple with grilled onions and Cooper sharp. Nothing else necessary for this. It was to go, but the place itself inside looks very cozy and nice. Perfect for families or a quick outing with friends. If they're cheesesteaks are like this, then I can imagine their food choices being excellent as well

Fresh. A little pricy but very fresh and sincere. Restaurant and bar look great. A little slow service when I went.

The staff were super friendly and checked in just enough without being annoying. The food was the best part for sure. Everything tasted fresh and actually well-seasoned, especially the seafood. You can tell it's not just thrown together--it had that real Mediterranean flavor. The portions were good too, I definitely left full. There's also a nice variety on the menu, so it's easy to find something you'll like. Overall, it's a really solid spot. If you're into seafood or just want something different with good flavor, I'd definitely recommend it. I'd go back for sure.

We were looking to try a different restaurant this weekend, and decided to try Seven Seas…read more We started with a yummy roasted eggplant remoulade with tomato. I put it on the fresh pita and it was an excellent starter. We ordered the Caesar Salad - it was very good - fresh, green leafy lettuce - crispy croutons, a sprinkling of grated cheese, and a delicious dressing. Next up, the Crab Bisque. I lived in Maryland for 30 years and had crab bisque many, many times. This was the first crab bisque that wasn't tomato based - it was a brownish, creamy version. It was more like chowder - although when I looked up 'bisque', it most certainly can be creamy. I might have been fine with the 'creamy version', but it lacked any crab flavor and had no crab in it - not one shred. I've never had any fish soup that had no fish in it. I took a few spoonfuls and left it. My partner tried it and came to the same conclusion. The entrees came next - I got the Seared Branzino and my partner got the Shrimp and Scallops. The Seared Branzino was okay - there were bites where I had a very fishy taste - and it was a very small piece of fish. My partner's Shrimp and Scallops came with steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes. The Scallops were tender and cooked perfectly - they were in a delicious sauce and had a very nice sear. However, the Shrimp were tough and chewy - we were both very surprised to have one item (scallops) so good, and another (shrimp) on the same plate, that was so bad. The steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes were very good. While our Caesar salad, Scallops and side dishes were very good, the rest of the meal was lacking.

They serve a delicious homemade bread that's warm when it's brought the table. In addition, it's accompanied by a dish of olive oil, with balsamic vinegar and what I believed to be a spicy dusting of pepper. It was a little too spicy for me - however, I did like the addition of the balsamic as a change from just olive oil. I would skip the pepper though, unless you like spice. We ordered the Polpette as an appetizer; it's a 'tradition' of mine. If meatballs are on the menu, I will always order them. These lamb, veal and beef meatballs were very good, and the marinara sauce they came in was excellent! The sauce is actually a 'roasted pomodoro' gravy - which is an 'intensified' version of a classic Italian sauce. It's made by roasting the tomatoes at a very high heat and almost caramelizing them. A little feta was added to the sauce, which really highlighted those meatballs!! We split the order - as 5 meatballs is quite a large appetizer! We decided to share two entrees - the Beef Short Ribs and the Lobster Ravioli. I always ask if the short ribs are lean - our server responded they were very lean...and they were. Soft, tender and very flavorful large chunks of beef, with a deliciously rich gravy with mushrooms on a bed a creamy garlic mashed potatoes! It was a superb dish! The website said the Short Ribs were the restaurant's most popular meal. Next, the Lobster Ravioli. The dish was a very 'delicate' one, with a very subtle brandy cream sauce. It had chopped jumbo shrimp and peeled cherry tomatoes with the raviolis. While the sauce tasted fine, it needed 'something' - we added pepper which helped. The raviolis were good - we couldn't taste lobster in the cheese of the raviolis - we assumed it was there. The chopped shrimps though provided a nice additional seafood flavor. I like my raviolis tender - the kind that almost melt in your mouth. The pasta here was firmer - a little more 'al dente', but it was fine. We ended our meal with the Chocolate Mousse. Served in a martini glass, the mousse had a velvety texture with a deep dark chocolate flavor. It was very rich yet light and fluffy; a good choice for dessert!

Earlier today, my husband's family came over unexpectedly, and I completely understood it was a last-minute request on a Saturday. I called the restaurant and asked very politely, "Is there any chance or possibility to make availability for a party of eight? We can come early if that helps." The person on the phone replied, "Ma'am, have you even been to a restaurant?" -- in a sarcastic, condescending tone. I was stunned and asked him to repeat what he said, and he repeated the same words, just as dismissively. I fully understand that accommodating a large, last-minute party might not be possible, but there is absolutely no reason to speak to anyone in such an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. The sarcasm and tone were completely unnecessary and left a terrible impression. Based on this experience alone, I have no interest in ever visiting this restaurant. Extremely disappointing and unacceptable customer service.

The food had both highlights and disappointments: * Lobster Ravioli: Tasted very good, although the portion was small. The sauce was flavorful and enjoyable. * Cioppino: This was the standout dish of the evening. It was loaded with delicious seafood, and while the pasta was slightly overcooked, it was still a very good meal. * Penne alla Vodka: The sauce was delicious and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the pasta was overcooked, but we still enjoyed the dish overall. * Caprese Salad: This was disappointing. The mozzarella balls tasted like they came straight from a container, the tomato wedges were not ripe, and instead of fresh basil there was a dark green paste-like topping. It did not taste fresh. * Chicken Parmigiana: This was the weakest dish we tried. The chicken was neither crispy nor particularly tender or flavorful, and the penne pasta was very soft and overcooked. Bread with olive oil was provided, but salads were not included and had to be ordered separately. Overall, this is a decent restaurant with excellent service and some very flavorful dishes, but consistency in the food and pasta preparation could be improved.

The menu has many interesting items and the shared appetizers were a good start. The Arancini was very good as was the Special Grilled Octopus in a Hummus Salad. There were 4 of us and we all felt that the entrees were good but didn't rise to what our expectations were, based on other reviews. The Lobster Gnocchi was good but seemed to be missing the lobster. The best part of the Scallop Risotto was the perfectly seared Scallops but the risotto itself was just ok. The Fiochi di Pere was good but overall didn't have all that much flavor. The Chicken Parmigiana was a very generous portion of chicken and pasta but the Italian seasoning was almost overpowering. I don't like writing reviews like this but like I said, we're in the minority review-wise on this one. Give it a try. Our experience just wasn't as good as what we expected.

No matter how long you bake them, the 'contents' never firm-up. "Slop" would be the best description. The outside? One would THINK that eventually the coating would brown and crisp-up. Nope. "Harder Slop" would be the best description. I then tried flattening them as thin as I could, figuring if I bake them long enough, they would crisp-up. Nope. "More dispersed fish-slop that kind of got brown" is what I would call it in the end. If I were creating a tombstone for this slop, I would name it, "The best thing I can say about it is, I didn't throw it away". I would say a porpoise should feel proud if they pooped something that tastes this good; but I would not insult garbage by calling it garbage. Did anybody at the company ever eat this? Or prepare it like the instructions say to prepare it? And they are PROUD to have made this? Those who are looking at this review BEFORE you buy it, here's a hint... "They put all their money into the photo that goes on the box!" Oh, I forgot to mention the, "dipping sauce". When it was cold? It was strange, and I didn't want to even try it. It was a mix between oil that one has mixed corn starch (which doesn't mix together, of course). So, the 'dipping sauce' is slimy garlic oil. When Christine came into the Kitchen, she went, "What is THAT SMELL?" Then, when she saw the warmed-up-in-the-microwave-to-make-it-near-palatable oil... she said, "Is that a raw egg?" So, no, the company did not get ANYTHING RIGHT except for the photo on the box. Those look like things that AREN'T porpoise pus.
