From the first bite to the half you'll take home, you will enjoy every morsel. How do I know? Lunch. I had a fantastic Short Rib sandwich that was presented with enough meat for a second sandwich. My partner enjoyed a Bang Bang Chicken sandwich with a large breaded, moist, chicken cutlet. Yummy! Our fries were crispy, not greasy, and very tasty. The restaurant is tastefully decorated in a rustic decor. The pleasant, efficient, server was icing on the cake. Had wonderful service Saturday morning at iron oven. Friendly young man waited on us and who on his own separated the breakfast sandwich we had planned on share He was attentive and polite. The guacamole breakfast sandwich was delicious. The bread was crispy and buttery with a great flavoring combo of avocado, egg, bacon and cheese - we switched out the Swiss for cheddar. I was not a fan of the potatoes due to the peppers mixed in but that's a me issue not the place. The breakfast sampler was huge. I'm sorry they don't offer it in a large and small size as we ended up wasting so much of it. We ordered the eggs scrambled and they had a great flavor to them. Plenty of bacon. I love it here. It's loud but the good kind of loud. Loud enough to have a great atmosphere but not too loud I can still hear the people at my table. Have loud kids? Nobody will care or notice. TVs everywhere. Industrial decor really nice. Strawberry margarita and prickly pear YUM! French onion soup, as good as it looks. I saw several of them being delivered around me. Steak mushroom risotto. It was good not worthy of ordering again but definitely deserves a try. The steak, however, was phenomenal. Sweet potato fries were great. Allegedly this place has its own designated cheesesteak making area and they take their cheesesteaks very seriously. It shows because it was so good, I wanted to cry. Iron Oven for the win! My family and I have been several times but I never left a review. We are early dinner eaters because we have a toddler. We got there at 4:45 and were seated within 10 mins even though the World Cup was going on. Water was served quickly and a cup with a lid for my toddler. We tried the cheesesteak and balsamic honey chicken salad. I asked for light cheese because I've heard they load it up. Some people will think that is a bad choice for less cheese but for me it was perfect. My wife and I split the salad and it was perfect. We will definitely come back, it is a loud bar and grill area where seating is tight but the service was great. read more

My lord..... is what you say after first bite of the cheesesteak. Been on my list for well over a year now. Lines are usually out the door which is a good sign. Last few times I've tried to go it was 1+ hour wait. I legit think people are in parking lot waiting for them to open. My brother in law and I arrived at 11:39 (they open at 11:30 today) and there were at least 40 people already seated. Great atmosphere and menu. Love the crazy amount of appetizers. My brother in law and I split cheesesteak and a buffalo chicken flatbread. I've had hundreds of cheesesteaks and this is by far the best I've ever had. The bread is like a large french baguette with sesame seeds - tons of flavor. Meat and cheese (cooper) were perfect. Got onions on side as brother in law doesnt like. They were melt in your mouth good... very similar to french onion soup onions. Fries were just ok, definitely had better (Maggies northeast philly top of list). This french onion soup changed my life. I've seen this soup from here on TikTok but have never gotten it here before, even though Iron Oven is one of the most consistent restaurants near me. The crispy onion straws on top were to die for and the soup was such a good size. Cheesy, flavorful, and the bread inside was delicious. I got the chicken caesar wrap as my main, which unfortunately I don't have a picture of because I was starving. It was stuffed to the brim and tasted fresh. We did ask for separate checks but that was forgotten by the end of the meal. I and another member of my party ordered the french onion soup. It was okay. They do have a bar you can grab a drink at though while you wait. There were a lot of interesting options to choose from on the menu, but an easy choice was the fried mac and cheese balls appetizer. Definitely a great choice especially with the vodka sauce it was served with. I wasn't super hungry so I went with the loaded pierogies appetizer for my meal which was 5 pierogies covered in au jus and short rib meat then covered with cheese and baked in a crock. I didnt enjoy them as much as I had hoped, they were a bit too soupy for my liking. The buffalo chicken stromboli that my husband got was good. The "mini" was the side of a football so that left extra to bring home. It was a busy Saturday evening with lots of small parties so it was a bit noisy but our waiter was great and so were the rest of the staff. The food I got was tragic, in a good way - a very tasty meal with rice, asparagus, truffle, and steak. I asked that it be done medium rare, and they cooked the meat well-done. What a pleasant surprise! This was just one of those places that we passed all the time and never really made the time to go in, all that changed on a rando and now it's added to our go to restaurants. The first thing I noticed was how packed the place was, that had me a little worried but we were seated and greeted in no time. Our waitress Kaylee was on her second day, and as it was our first time, it was a perfect match. Do not sleep on the appetizers here! Admittedly I'm not usually the drinks and appetizers kind of guy but I was out with some friends and social convention dictated I try some, boy and I glad. We had the thanksgiving egg rolls, and honey maple bacon wings (I'd never thought to put all those words in a sentence of any kind but they were the truth). Oh and before I forget (again) we also did the caramel apple martinis, they were so good that I went to tip the bartender directly. One bacon cheeseburger later and I was full to the brim and ready to go but alas someone in my group said dessert. Next thing I know I'm taking on their strawberry......thing (yes, that's a technical term) I don't remember the name but it was a.....strawberry filled desert empanada of some sort. We stopped by for happy hour and decided to sit at the bar rather than in the dining room. We found the bar staff and menu to be excellent, with both the drinks and appetizers very reasonably priced. After seeing a social media reel about the Iron Oven Cheesesteak, we decided to share one, and it was outstanding.
