Came here for happy hour with a couple of people after work! They have an extensive menu with a lot of different wing flavor options as well as brews on tap. They have old bay fries which are always delicious. I had the hot honey boneless wings and they were tasty with a little kick to them. The service was okay and could've been better. We all asked for separate check at the beginning and the server said okay and then made it a hassle to check out at the end bc she didn't separate it at the start. Let me say this, if I'm at a restaurant, I don't want potatoe chips with my sandwich, not for $15.00... and have to pay an upcharge for fries. My wife got indigestion from the $13.00 burger and the cheesesteak ran through me like an olympic track star... The raspberry iced tea was more water than tea... However, the pickle was tasty. My pretzel nuggets with American cheese dip were great. I wish everyone served pretzels with American cheese. The grilled cheese was great as well. Big drink menu and lots of TVs. The person I was with got the Kona burger. The bacon was undercooked. He wound up not eating it. The main issue was with the service. It took a while for the server to approach our table for our order. Then my food came out and 45 mins the side salad came out for the burger. Then another 15 mins later for the burger. So it took over an hour to get a burger and we wound up not eating together. They have outside seating and an inbetween area which is where we sat. read more

We've stopped here a few times since they opened. We've never been wowed but also never let down either. They have the typical wings, fried appetizers, nachos, etc. you would expect. A lot of different beers on tap. They do have tv's everywhere so you can catch the game while kicking back a few cold ones. We usually do the Loaded Tots, tater tots are my kryptonite. I love them when they're cooked right and seasoned. What takes these over the top is the sour cream drizzle and scallions. These are pretty good. My wife usually wants nachos which I've never been impressed with theirs. They're not bad, just mediocre (although I do like to get the hottest wing sauce and dump some on mine which helps them). The service is good on most occasions but on a few occasions it's been great. We've never had bad service or a bad experience. I think as far as bar food is considered, they do better than most in this area. If you're looking for a fun place to hang out that is consistent, this is a safe bet. read more

Always a friendly place with great wings. Bartenders Brianna and Mike make a great Manhattan and are both very attentive to service

Sitting in restaurant as we speak. Food delivered to table of right with the waiter asking us to pass the plates to each other ( table is in the middle of the room) . Asked the waiter for silverware and he appeared to be disgusted with the request. Returned and dumped the goths and napkins at the end of the table. We aren't at a picnic here. Half rack of ribs must've come from a Cher-like beast, with very small rib cage. Tater tots were requested as the side but apparently I was overruled by the chef. Lights dimming up and down randomly. Ordered 20 wings. Korean, barbecue wings and garlic wings ,plus fries . The wings were full of meat and flavor. The Korean were sweet with a little kick. The garlic was very mild. The fries were crispy and had just enough salt. We ordered it to go so they had parking for pick up. All in all very good. read more

We hit here during happy hour! A little noisy but that's expected! We ordered some boneless wings with hot honey on the side and Pj's Firehouse Chili with(Custom Blended herbs & spices with fresh chorizo & ground beef, slow cooked with red beans, onions & garlic in a fiery tomato broth topped with/ shredded cheddar jack) the chili was meaty and had a great taste! Not sure if The Hot n Honey sauce from the wings killed the heat of the chili but I enjoyed both! I am impressed with the flavor of the Copper Lager it's spot on not hoppy or overly barley! Our server Gisel was very professional, friendly & hospitable had a great sense of how we liked our hot! Visiting my son in Doylestown for a weekend of hiking, gym, football, and pubs. We were watching the early game and had a need to get our assess off the couch. Went to YELP for a nearby spot. PJW was local and looked like they had a lot of big screens, which turned out to be true. Wall to wall big screens, no escaping the games here at all. Kicked the Blantons Single Barrel for a decent price for a decent pour. Was able to take the empty bottle ans horsey home for my next infinity bottle. Thx to Dave the bar manager. Son had two fresh draft Troegs IPAs which he really liked. Loaded tater tots were hot and crispy. Good snack. Great spot for sports, drinks, and bar food. read more

Lots of parking around this mall parking lot restaurant. Big, new, clean, loud and wall-to-wall televisions. Young, attractive staff. (Hot) appetizers came-out fast and were cold. Entrees came out very late and were hot. The food was all okay albeit very bland. Caveat: The ac is always on at full blast so bring a wrap. We'll return. read more

Have tried PJs a few time and there really are much better choices around. Nachos, thrown together, cold, chips are like the cheapest generic brand in the grocery store Wings, served to me had to be sitting under the heat lamp for 30 min, the plate was hotter than the wings, they were dried out -- you only 5 in a small plate, and I only ate 3 and a half. Service overall was friendly, but spotty... they like disappear for 20 minutes+ This latest experience tracks to the previous ones. Which I did not leave reviews hoping they would figure these things out. But they have not, it is not getting any better. read more

We ordered delivery today. Almost $20 for a cobb salad, I kind of expected a portion twice the size I received. Very disappointed with the little salad. My real complaint is the special seasonal dessert. The walnut apple crumb arrived as a thin layer of crumb made up of a couple of tablespoons worth of fairly tasty stuff. However the ice cream it was supposed to come with was not there and the couple bites of crumb was $10. My family and I went here for dinner of Saturday night. I am a former "regular" at the location in Allentown as I used to eat there and have some drinks with a few people before a weekly meeting. This location is huge compared to the one in Allentown. They have many TVs. My only complaint is it looks like they focus on Philly teams only. I know most people around here are Philly fans but a subscription to get out of market MLB games is only $150 for the year so in the grand scheme of things it would not cost much more for a variety. I am a Cubs fan but to be fair the Cubs game has already ended by the time we ate. The food is good pub fare. I like it because you can eat chicken wings pretty dependably on a low carb diet. I get mine "named" and they are quite good. I like 5 infernos and 5 garlic parm. The infernos are hot enough but not super crazy. The wine choice is pretty scarce which explains the 4 stars. I remember Allentown used to have a wine blend. Either they do not have it anymore or Doylestown just does not have it. Red wine is better than beer for low carb so a good choice is important to me. This is your typical sports bar. However they seem to have the service down Pat with plenty of workers. Our server was attentive and quick. The bottom line is if you are looking for some drinks and pub food, PJs is a fine example of that sort of ware. read more

First impressions do count for something ~ we walked into PJ's, noticed there was no signage directing us to stand there and wait for a hostess or seat ourselves ~ so after awkwardly lingering by the entrance, we decided to just take a booth.  The menu was very promising ~ a little something for everyone's tastes.  Beginning with the cheesesteak eggrolls, they were served three to an order, smaller than the usual restaurant eggrolls, nice and crispy on the outside but...the inside was unidentifiable.  Very liquidity, mushy...they were very unappetizing  and a huge disappointment.    The French onion soup was not a good choice ~ looking forward to the taste of sweet onions that melt in your mouth, it just wasn't.  This too I was unable to eat.  My friend's chicken cheesesteak looked decent although it was a little short on the chicken.    Still very hungry, we ordered dessert ~ the Ghiradelli Chocolate Brownie.  The brownie was a good size, the ice cream was a couple of tablespoon's worth, the whipped cream was nearly nonexistent.     The decor was eye pleasing, the booths comfortable and our server was extremely polite, quick and so attentive.  While the seating area was quite empty, the bar was filled with happy patrons, the walls were  decorated with TV's showcasing every sport and the place was kept spotless.  Unfortunately we wouldn't make a return visit. read more

I had the pleasure of having a late lunch at the new outpost of PJ Whelihan's in Doylestown. It feels like many other locations, large industrial building with high ceilings, a three sided bar in the center and tables ringing the outside. There are over 40 different television sets in the building so you will definitely be able to view something at every table. The beer selection: the beer selection is actually disappointing. While there are 34 taps, there are actually very few true local craft beers: Yards, Victory, and Levante. The rest are from large national brands like Sam Adams (including one Dogfish Head), Budweiser and Lion Brewing. That said the PJ Copper Lager is a wonderful beer and a steal at 4 dollars for a 22 oz glass during happy hour. The food: this is a sports bar and therefore wings and burgers are the main emphasis. That said, there is very little to offer for someone who does not eat meat. There are shrimp tacos, fish and chips, and a couple of appetizers that have no meat. Every salad comes with chicken, which you can "upgrade" to salmon or shrimp for an extra charge. But if you want no meat you pay the same amount as someone who gets the chicken, which definitely does not seem fair. The only meatless burger is one of the incredible burgers which cost three dollars more than a beef burger. There is no grain based or bean base burger other than the chemical laces faux industrial burgers. There is definitely room to improve the offerings. The restaurant offers happy hour every weekday from 4-6, with discounted drinks, and 5 for $5 wings, which is quite a good deal. However, the day shift ends right in the middle of the happy hour so you end up with the spectacle at the bar of the bartenders asking patrons to pay their tab so the day shift folks get a share of tips. Its almost like something out of a Dickens novel with the urchins begging for money ... the only thing missing was Oliver Twist saying "Please sir can I have some more." Certainly management can figure out something better. Doylestown is underserved as far as restaurants go, and there is no doubt, for the price point, PJs will be successful. The service there is stellar, and the food is decent. But there is quite a lot of room for improvement. read more

My French dip was pretty bad, the au jus gave me dog food vibes and the meat could have been sourced from Wawa. The steak entree came with raw broccoli. Side salads were pretty nice. Went here for the first time a few weeks back. The menu was great and difficult to choose what I wanted from all the intriguing choices. I ended up getting some chicken bacon ranch sandwich which was fantastic and would highly recommend getting! I also got a Tito's strawberry lemonade which was really good. The Tuesday Happy Hour wings are very good. However, please ask your server for the celery and carrots that go with them. The server asked if I wanted Ranch or Blue Cheese. I got the ranch, but no celery and/or carrot sticks. Also, if you add a house salad to your entree, let the server know that the salad should come before the entree, not with the entree. These are not necessarily the server's fault if the server has not been trained well. This is a management issue. read more

I went to PJ's to watch the 76ers vs the Celtics. There were more largeTV's than I could count. If you want to watch a game PJ's is the place to go. Large selection of beer on tap. I ordered the honey barbecue wings and they were superb. They were medium sized wings. Menu has a large selection of food. The place was packed. Plenty of parking. It is a stand alone restaurant in a shopping center. I sat at the bar. The service was spot on even though there were no seats left at the bar. Pricing was above average but well worth it. The restaurant is brand new. If you like wings they have a large variety. I will return. The Sixers lost! read more

Stopped here on the very first day they were open and we were impressed. We sat at the bar and were greeted promptly. We enjoyed a drink from their happy hour specials and looked over the menu. There were 4 bartenders and they were attentive. I had the keto fajitas and my Dad ordered the crispy chicken salad. They came out quickly and both were delicious! Came for their soft opening before the real deal grand opening. The moment we walked in we felt like this is a game changer for Doylestown. The look and feel of modern sophistication is just right for a casual good meal & catching up with friends. We love the big screens along the walls & look forward to hanging out during the big game with good friends. Every staff person we encountered smiled & said hello. I started with the Tropical Breeze bar drink. Very lite and refreshing. Since it was cold & damp outside I would prefer this as a summer drink. Our meal began with the French Onion Soup. Very flavorful with the right amount of cheese and not overloaded with bread. Next were our meals. Unfortunately we were having such a great time I forgot to take photos of everything. I took a chance & ordered the Twin Crab Cakes fried with a side of onion rings. Wow! These were better than expected. The cakes were crispy on the outside & the crab filling was moist. I could really taste the crab. DH got the crab cakes with fries. Our friend ordered a burger with the PJ Whelihans Famous Fries. They both loved their meal too. The onion rings and both style fires were cooked to perfection and had good flavor. A side of the Loaded Tater Tots for the table looked fantastic - sorry forgot to take picture. Unfortunately they came out at room temperature. Not impressed with the flavor. We'll give them another try. Perhaps hot & crispy tots may make a difference in the flavor? For Dessert DH & I ordered our own Salted Caramel Cookie! Hello! This was fantastic!! The presentation was a little lonely & sad looking but Surprise - It's phenomenal! We grab a bite here often and we like it a lot. The staff is usually nice and the food is good. I like their salads a lot. There is one AMAZING server. His name is Ryan and he is not only personable but attentive. We give him 5 stars! I would have given the restaurant 5 stars but at times we have had to ask for forks and napkins. Also, many servers don't remove dirty dishes before bringing the next thing out. By the time you leave every plate or bowl you use is crowding the table by the time you leave. Very loud if the place is packed, although was pretty empty when I was there. Was my 3rd visit decided it would be my last. Think better sports bars in the area. What's the point of going to a sports bar and being placed at a table up against the wall under a tv with no other views of a TV and the game??? Common contours say the hostess should tell you that was the table available or would you like to wait correct? But then if your older well Who cares right? Cause the younger patrons all seemed to get high tops in the main bar, tables with views but if you looked around all Of the tables under the TVs and without a view of a TV were filled with "Older folks". Hmmmmm Then she had the audacity to say well you can just wait longer til a table opens again when she just placed three two tops in the bar area ! Poor at best ! read more
