I have to say old school is literally the best burger place I've ever been to all their stuff is fresh always fast but it's not fast food gives a new recognition to fast food five stars 10 out of 10

Great food. Good service. Shakes, fries, burgers = YUM. Anytime I'm in this area I love eating here with my daughter. Fun games to play to and cute decor.

I went to Old school burgers yesterday and ordered the chicken jalapeño popper the meat didn't look like it was supposed to be steak with raw onions, grilled onions, tomato jalapeño peppers pickles but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I won't be coming back here again. When I got home the sandwich was too soft. And it cost me 16.00$ for the chicken jalapeño popper just because I wanted to add onions to the sandwich.

I was torn between a 3 or 4 star rating, but the garlic parm fries and the cleanliness of the restaurant helped bump it up to a 4. We walked in on Saturday afternoon around 2 PM. This isn't the traditional lunch hour, but there were a few customers dining in. We were greeted immediately with a smile by a gentleman at the front desk. One thing this place lacks is fountain soda. They serve bottled Pepsi products. I wasn't really in the mood for a milkshake. I asked for The Firestarter burger with a substitute on the meat for an Impossible patty. The burger was pretty standard. It would have been better with a hearty, seeded bun. It wasn't as spicy as I had hoped it would be either. The garlic Parmesan fries won me over. The mixture was blobbed on top of the fries but I stirred up the fries to ensure all were evenly coated. They were absolutely delicious and I kept picking at them long after I finished my burger. Plenty of parking available and the women's bathroom was spotless! Retro decor inside truly provided that old school feel.

What a great little place. I had the fire starter burger and onion rings. Both were exceptional. I will come back if I'm in the area.

What really makes it unique is the fact that you can place your food order and then go grab a craft brew in a plastic cup and then walk back to get your food. Or, if you prefer to bring your food to the bar area, you can do that too. We had a hankering for burgers and wanted to give Lucky's a try. I'm glad we did and it was an enjoyable experience. We ordered a share basket of fries which were perfectly cooked crinkle fries. They had ketchup available as well. We each got a burger, one classic and one Oklahoma style which had two patties. The classic had more of a Kaiser roll whereas the Oklahoma had a potato bun. The meat was fresh, not frozen and cooked nicely on a flat top. The onions on the Oklahoma were sliced incredibly thin but for some reason were not soft enough to bite through (my only disappointment). It's easy to find as the doorway is right down from Rita's on Ridge Avenue. Give it a try!

Since they are not open for lunch during the week I made sure to stop in on a Saturday in November to grab a burger. Normally I'm a burger purist but on this trip I decided to go with their Oklahoma Onion Butter Burger and a side of fries. I paid via credit card when I ordered.(they were not accepting cash). After about 10mins or so my order was ready. The burger has (2) patties and onions. Flavor was on point but the overall size of the burger was small for me. I could have easily eaten two of them. The side order of crinkle cut fries was equally small and they were just warm. Overall the meal was good and I would eat here again. However if I'm craving a top notch burger I will probably choose one of the other options in the area.

Also had a chili dog. Chili was good but lukewarm. The hot dogs themselves tasted like they were griddled earlier and just kept warm over time. Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired. I hoped to like it more but it seems like they're running on the fumes of nostalgia.

Counter has a bell for service and a paper menu to order. This is a very old looking spot it is by no means a gold mine for this man, if you just like hot dogs and want to try some home style ones with fun toppings it's good for a glizzy. Service: Lenny met me when I came in and was helpful in guiding the recommended build of the combo, a good fresh bun with a soft breaded fish(cod)/potato cake that filled the bun+glizzy. He tells me the history of before, mothers used to sell the fish cakes to other families during hard times. Recommends a chili dog as my second dog which is always a good standard check. Combo starts with a good fresh bun with a soft breaded fish(cod)/potato cake that filled the bun. The dog is pressed into it this. A broken in half slice of cold cheese but it acts as a raincoat for the wet slaw a bit too much but also just right, it was sweet and vinigery cut through the richness I wrecked it. The chili dog was like a ketchup style sauce almost sloppy Joe, the meat wasn't broken up well which I like it had nice texture. Onions were big but worked they had good crunch factor. It was just solid nothing wild but tasty for sure. My feeling: This is a little spot that is worth the stop in if you're feeling a dog and don't need to be catered to or need it to be a surgery room. It's borderline dingy but it's got some hearty I will for sure grab a dog again.
