I ordered Deluxe Panzerotto (fried) - the size was smaller than those pizza chain restaurants'. But the dough is flavorful, apparently better quality than those chains'. Fried, but not greasy. The filling was fresh, and the tomato sauce was the perfect mix of sour, salty, and natural sweetness - did not taste pre-made at all. The major complaint was the amount of the filling and how it was placed. I could not reach the filling almost halfway. I wanted it to be spread more evenly, with more amount. Delicious pizza at a good price. They have a great tasting crust and it's always crispy and not too thin. The sauce is also really good. So basically they have the base of the pizza figured out! I think it's a family run restaurant since we always see the same guy there and the service is always pretty fast. We usually call our order ahead but ordering on the spot is only around 15min wait. We've never sat inside and eaten out food there since we usually get a whole pizza but the inside of the store has plenty of seating and is kept spotless. read more

This is a great mom and pop pizza shop in downtown Toronto. The pizza is cheap, delicious and big. The pizza slices are thin crust and they have different options to choose from like, margarita pizza, meat lovers, veggie etc. You can also add Parmesan, BBQ sauce, oregano etc., from the self serve table. The BEST pizza spot. Seriously try it out. The owner is super nice once you try to get to know him. Really helped me get used to living at Toronto during the first year out of my house. I tried their $10 (tax included) large cheese pizza special and I have to admit that it was quite good. The tomato sauce had real flavor and there was a lot of cheese. It was more than enough for 3 people. It was baked fresh, so we had to wait 15 minutes which is perfectly fine. However, it wasn't any better than a pizza from Costco where they have a veggie option and a bigger size for almost the same price. And for a pizza restaurant serving pizza the same quality as Costco...well that's not very good. The guy also made the pizza behind the glass which was covered by lids of the silver dishes so we had no idea what he was doing or if we could request anything different from the standard. Others have said that the employees were really friendly but not in our case. We went around 9 pm and the place looked like it was 5 mins away from closing, even though the hours online said it was open until 11 pm. There was only one guy and he was on his phone and barely paid us any attention. The seating area was okay, nothing really nice. Overall, it has good pizza but there are better places. It's a level up from Pizza Pizza but that's the only place it passes. read more

Ordered the slice and drink combo as I always do, but this time before giving me the machine to pay the lady who was ringing through the sale hit the button for 20% tip. It would be unfair to give this pizza anything less than 5 stars..yes its that good. I used to live right next to this pizza joint and my roommates and I would frequent here often for the cheap (but delicious) pizza. Years later, I still go here whenever the pizza craving strikes while I am in the area. The slices are quite big, under $5 and have a few varieties to choose from (they are different every day). I have tried the vegetarian, margherita, meat lovers and Mediterranean (can you tell I LOVE it) and none have disappointed. The have a small table with different condiments, like hot sauce, BBQ sauce, parmesan cheese, oregano, etc to top off the pizza with. Its a casual establishment run by the most adorable owners. Its also never completely busy so if you choose to dine in, you won't have an issue finding space. The washroom is not the cleanest but its not a big enough factor for me to knock off a star. 5 stars for food! read more

After my dissatisfying visit of just a little over a year ago, I was recently invited back by the owner of this establishment to give their pizza another try. Just judging from their display alone when I walked in, the pizza already looked significantly better than the one I had last year on their grand opening day. The slices looked fresh, cheesy, not too greasy, and was loaded with a bunch of toppings! I ordered the deluxe slice (which was a gigantic slice) and they gave me a homemade garlic dip on the house. Everything was delicious! Large pieces of mushroom, sweet peppers, and onions over a bed of pepperoni and sausage embedded in melted cheese.. yum! The pricing was very fair and I would definitely consider coming back for a quick bite between classes. For comparable prices, the pizza here is much better than Pizza Pizza. They have more toppings, larger slices, are less greasy, and although the crust is more thin, it definitely didn't taste like cardboard! read more

I LOVE Bocconcini! I stumbled upon it when I explored my campus a week ago and fell in love. I initially tried their sliced pizza as a quick snack the first time I went there. It was fresh, tasty and they were not frugal with their toppings unlike other places. I came back a second time to try a large pizza with wings alongside a few friends. The food was delicious; the pizza piping hot, loaded with toppings and the wings tender and juicy. The only thing I'd point out is that they put only enough sauce to cover the wings. This local pizza joint is a gem in the neighborhood! Their slices aren't too greasy, generous toppings at excellent price points- $5 any slice + drink. Way more delicious than many garbage pizza chains around the downtown core. The only thing is I wish they would open a little bit longer (they close at 10pm, weekday and weekend). I was sorely disappointed one weekday evening to try to pick up a slice after 10 :( (I went back the next day to grab 2 slices fo lunch :D Support local businesses, you won't be disappointed! read more

I love this place. The pizza is great and the people are super friendly and welcoming. It's my favourite place to get a veggie slice, the veggies are cooked so that they're not mushy but actually still fresh with a little crunch. They just renovated and the space is 10x better than it was before, I often eat inside as opposed to getting it to go. I'm looking forward to trying some of their new menu items. Their best deal is the large takout pizza with one item for $8.99....the chef owner is very accomodating to your requests on the menu.
