The octopus was divine - would come back for this specifically. We split entrées and ordered the short ribs, orrecchiette, and Chilean sea bass. Pretty big portions and the flavor to match! A huge kudos to the hostess up front, who navigated a pretty grumpy crowd with such grace. Understandably, it was a very busy day, and the restaurant was packed. We probably could've used a bit more attention from the waiter after we were seated, as we would've liked another cocktail, but overall a great experience. Looking forward to coming back.

We've encountered this on Saturday nights but also on Monday nights with only 5 tables occupied. The excuse is always the same..."we're short-staffed". If it's that bad, then something needs to change because for $200 for 2 adults and 2 little kids, you shouldn't be walking out with your entrees to go because after nearly 2 hours you haven't been served. Time to raise your game, Confetti. Even though the food is good, what does it matter? It never arrives.

For my main course, I ordered the Costatella Di Cervo, a marinated venison chop with red wine, juniper berries, and herbs, chargrilled and served over soft Ribiola cheese polenta with port wine and fresh figs. We had the Chardonnay and it was the highlight of the meal. But it was hard to enjoy it with the vibe that we somehow were imposing. Honestly it was all male servers plus the owner and I think a woman's touch for hospitality would go a loooong way here to help this place be more convivial. Our server seemed to avoid us as much as possible, it was clear she didn't want to be there. We even heard her tell the hostess that she didn't want anyone else to be seated in her section and it wasn't that busy. She never came back to ask us if we wanted more drinks.
