Bob's is always a great spot for a great steak! It has a traditional classy vibe. They don't seem to enforce a dress code, which I kind of wish they did; but I know some prefer being more casual. So if that's your thing, you'll definitely like that. Though plenty of people dress up for a great steak dinner. You have options. The service has been amazing every time we've visited. And the steak is delicious!!! Cooked a perfect medium-rare!

This was my second visit to Bob's Chophouse, and once again the atmosphere did not disappoint. The dining room has a nostalgic, lively energy that makes it a great spot for a celebratory evening, though it's worth noting that it can get a bit loud--so not the best choice if you're looking for a quiet, intimate dinner. Our party of five had a 7:00 reservation, and overall the experience was enjoyable. The water service was exceptional--our glasses were never left empty, and that attention to detail deserves recognition. The steaks were cooked beautifully and full of flavor, though a bit on the gristly side. One guest ordered scallops, which unfortunately arrived a little cold. Where the evening fell short was in the pace of service. Both drink and food service were noticeably slow, which became more frustrating as the night went on. We had planned to enjoy dessert for a birthday celebration, but ultimately decided not to order it because of the delays. That said, Bob's remains a Dallas classic. The food is flavorful, the atmosphere is vibrant, and it's a place I would still recommend--especially for those experiencing it for the first time. Just be prepared that while the quality is there, the timing of service can make or break the experience.

Restaurant within the Omni Hotel in downtown Dallas. The fresh baked bread with the slab of butter was so good my coworker and I devoured over half of it before realizing that the main course hadn't even been served yet. The sea bass recommended by our server Del was delish. Grilled to perfection with gnocchi and that special sauce. I pretty much devoured the whole thing. Our server, Del, was en pointe. He kept coming back to make sure we had everything we needed and made sure our bill was split correctly. Special shoutout to him for providing world class service!

Five stars all the way! We had a fantastic dinner at the steakhouse. The food was excellent--our steak was perfectly cooked, the Brussels sprouts were packed with flavor, and even the salads stood out (which doesn't always happen at a steakhouse!). And Jedidiah our server, truly elevated the entire experience. He was attentive without being overbearing, checked on us consistently, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Thanks for a great night--we'll definitely be back!

It's been a while since I had customer service like this. Captain was very sweet and professional. Served assistances were perfect. It felt like a nice smooth flow, not overbearing, they were very attentive at the same time. 30% tip and truly deserved it

The steak was well-seasoned, but kinda tough... the bacon appetizer was delicious. My husband wasn't fond of the steak being served on the same plate as the sides. I liked that my baked potato was dressed at the table. Dalton provided excellent service. Overall, a solid experience! It is a distant 2 on my list of steakhouses in Dallas, Pappa's still number 1.

Back in NYC and the east coast, we have a furniture store chain called " Bob's discount furniture." I thought to myself, is this the same Bob from NYC venturing out? :) LOL. No such connection. The menu featured a diverse selection of high-quality cuts of meat, including wagyu beef. I ordered the prime rib medium rare, and my buddy had the filet mignon. The steaks were expertly cooked to the perfect doneness. To be honest, my prime rib was a bit chewy on some parts, but the overall taste was very good. The sides that accompanied the steaks were spot on. The carrot, baked, and smashed garlic potatoes were delish. The side salads were perfect too. The service was attentive, and the staff exhibited a good knowledge of the menu and gave us recommendations on the perfect spirits. Although the prices were relatively high, I would definitely return here due to the quality of the food, service, and atmosphere. In a nutshell, Bob's is a worthwhile choice for those seeking a top-notch steak dining experience.

We walked over from the Hyatt.. it's in the conference center/hotel. 5 minute walk. Lovely atmosphere, staff was full and attentive. Our server knew the menu, albeit her recommendations weren't what we expected. We had the Orin red blend, it was tart, I had the Bordeaux red from France, much better. The one scallop was amazing. I did Oscar style, slim on the hollandaise sauce. But delicious. The steak was delicious. Would I go back, no.. I've been around the country and have experienced amazing steaks like. They have local and Wagyu steak- try it out if you like a steakhouse. Thank you for your service! Good day!

Chophouse salad, my lettuce is brown and does not even match the menu zero ingredients and over on others. Really nasty.

Super expensive and embarrassing low quality. So disappointed with my App meal. Chophouse salad was tasteless and wilted and old ingredients. Calamari was cold and soggy. Sauce tasted like it came from a jar. Use to be good but cutting corners it seems now.

I made a reservation for this location for my husband's birthday since steaks are his favorite! We were seated right away by the manager, the ambiance was relaxing and dark (my favorite). Our server Delton was great, he was very helpful and attentive. We started with cocktails and a shared Blue Cheese Salad. Oh! But I can't forget about the freshly baked bread that was placed on our table immediately after we sat. I really wanted to take the bread home but I knew it would had made a mess in my purse. I decided to order the Seared Duck Breast since I hadn't eaten duck in years. My husband had the Prime Ribeye, both dishes had different styles of potatoes and both were amazing. My husband had to admit that it was a delicious steak, even better than his (he does make some damn good steaks). We also ordered the Lobster Mac and cheese that was one of the specials of the day, so cheesy and creamy deliciousness. Once we were done with our main course, the birthday boy got his birthday dessert, a Brownie Sunday (obviously I had to help him eat it), it was so good! We had a great experience and will definitely go back once we find an excuse.

Very good food - the filet mignon and bourbon pecan cheesecake were quite tasty - an excellent appletini, and fantastic service in a cozy environment made for a very good overall experience.

These steaks are top notch! Many of the higher end places charge way more than these guys, and their steaks are cooked to perfection.

I see that there are 2 locations in Dallas. Is this one INSIDE the Omni hotel or in the area? We are trying to decide which one is more accessible when it comes to parking and etc.

It's inside, but it has its own entrance and valet parking is free.

We're from out of town, is this a dressy place or can we wear jeans?

People wear jeans and t-shirts as well as business casual and even an occasional coat and tie

We sat at the table for two near the door which had great lighting, and it was really fun to people watch as pedestrians roamed outside. Our server recommended a few cocktails - I got the Limelight which was delicious and my friend got one of the clarified cocktails, which was also very tasty. Honestly the alcohol flavor was masked super well so they're very dangerous drinks! Will have to come by to try some of the others. Our server was super helpful explaining & coursing out the menu, and we got a bunch of items to share. First up we got the scallop aguachile, which was tart and spicy and super refreshing, and the salmon tartare which was creamy and decadent and came with shatteringly crisp wonton chips. Really excellent starters, and they made me want to come back and get the rest some time! Then we split the ahi tuna tostadas and the crab avocado tostadas, which come 2 per order. Hugo O. came over to ask if we were sharing and helpfully had them plated one each per plate so we could eat them more easily, and also brought over a chili pequín hot sauce to complement the tostadas. They were so good! I'll be dreaming about both the tostadas and the pequín sauce for a while. The ahi tuna was super fresh and went so well with the accompaniments, and the crab didn't get lost in the other flavors on that tostada. The crisp tortillas underneath also held up really well to each bite; I'm so used to tostadas shattering upon first taste but the structural integrity of Hugo's were super impressive. For our main we split the fish of the day, which was seared Hokkaido scallop atop a bed of corn risotto. This also came pre-split into two bowls so we didn't have to do it ourselves, which was a super nice touch. The scallops were cooked to perfection, super soft and tender with an incredible crust, and the corn risotto was super creamy and savory. Almost a little too salty for me with the amount of cheese, but still so good I almost licked the bowl clean. Seriously good food here - sad it's a bit of a trek from where I live but I can't wait to come back to try more of the menu!

I am from the Pacific Northwest and I love seafood. I've lived in Dallas for 3 1/2 years and have generally avoided it because anytime I've had it, its been disappointing. This is the first seafood place that's not a sushi place that I am obsessed with. It's a very small space, very intimate, can be a little bit loud at times depending on who's sitting next to you...but if you have the money and you're looking for quality seafood, this place is incredible. Perfect to celebrate a special occasion or a date night. highly recommend. service is great. We ordered the seafood tower and every single item on it was delicious. Definitely ask for some melted butter to go with your lobster. Im not big on poke but the poke was seasoned with sesame oil and was so fresh. The scallops were buttery and amazing. The oysters were the perfect size. Fresh? Not overly salty. The mignonette was perfect. This was the first meal I've been this excited about since i discovered otaru sushi...but other than that can't think of any other places where the food blew my mind and made my eyes roll back in my head. The thing is that seafood can be so tricky. The biggest part is the quality/freshness. Everything on the seafood tower was extremely simple, but it was also perfection. It was beautiful to look at as well.

After a long day in transit, all we wanted was something deeply satisfying, the kind of meal that feels like a reward. When my mother suggested Aunt Irene's Kitchen, there was no hesitation. She spoke of it with the reverence reserved for places that become part of your personal geography former neighborhood staples, the kind you measure other meals against. Years ago, when she lived nearby, this was her spot. And now, standing beside her in a line that stretched out the door, it was clear we weren't the only ones holding onto that sentiment. The queue moved with surprising ease, a quiet efficiency that felt almost practiced. Inside, the energy was unpretentious and steady. Our cashier, while not particularly warm, was brisk and knowledgeable answering questions with the kind of clarity that suggests confidence in the product more than performance. We ordered simply: wings with fries, and two plates of fried fish with fries. The wings hadn't been part of the original plan, but a fellow patron mid-meal and visibly excited leaned over to insist. It felt like advice worth taking. And it was. The food arrived in its own time this is not a place for the impatient but what it lacked in speed, it more than made up for in flavor. The fish was crisp and tender, the wings richly seasoned, each bite layered with the kind of depth that doesn't rush itself. Then there was the jalapeño tucked alongside the plate like a quiet signature. It cut through the richness with a bright, deliberate heat, a small but memorable detail that elevated the entire experience. The dining room itself is modest and well-kept, with many opting to take their meals to-go or retreat to their cars. There's an ease to it all ample parking, friendly faces coming and going, a sense of community that lingers longer than the wait.
