Bobby won't share the recipe but it is the best hot sauce around. Finally, having gone low-carb, just ask for a beef burrito in a bowl - hot! Beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and... Great place for a cheap, fast meal. I work across the street and always come here for a fast and filling lunch. Their burgers are well cooked and juicy; I recommend getting them with the chopped onions. The cheeseburger deal is my usual--a burger, drink, and fries for around $7. The fries are thick cut and fresh, and there are a lot of them! Service is fast and pleasant. read more

Thursday June 19, 2014 Noon I work in the area and wanted to catch the Uruguay v. England match. I wasn't terribly invested in the match but it is the World Cup. In an effort to mix it up a little, I chose this spot instead of nearby, 'Rounds'; HUGE mistake! I've been here 2 times before and it was not horrible but it was not wildly impressive either. In general, service is fair and food is unspectacular. I walked in and it was at least 10 degrees warmer inside the restaurant than it was outside. This should have been where I turned around and walked to Rounds... I ordered the cheeseburger on sourdough combo. The ranch dressing that came w/my fries was watery and bland and the mayo in the burger tasted odd. Even more unsettling than the condiments was how I instantly felt bloated after the meal. While the meal was substantial, I felt more like I had feasted at an AYCE buffet. I felt so full that I didn't eat anything else all day. It was not until later that evening that my body began to break down. It began with the stomach pains that persisted throughout the night that lead to nausea and the dreaded diarrhea. Strolled in because i was craving a spuderito. Received a warm greeting on arrival and the owner asks me, "Where have you been?!" I haven't been in since they moved. Have to confess I felt a little bit like royalty. He proceeded to offer me a sample of the onion rings and zucchini fries to go along with my spuderito. I decided to add meat since, hey, may as well go all in with the fat right? I think I prefer the spuderito without the meat, but still very tasty. Make sure you don't go too light on the sauce like i did. Overall, very tasty - just right to fulfill my craving. I had a Spudiritto with beef and it was excellent, it was the perfect level of spiciness and flavor The service was excellent, Bobby catered to my every need, I asked for Wi-FI he quickly sprung into action and got me a password. I told him I was new in town so he gave me recommendations of all the best restaurants in the area which I will be down to try! He even gave me some samples of his new dishes he's been working on. In reference to Willy R's review, I met the dark haired tattooed girl and she was polite to me. Stopped here on a whim, literally cruising for burgers. Glad I did! Had a "French Cheese Burger". It's served on Sourdough, not something you usually see at a burger stand. Very good fries! The place is really clean and the vibe in the room is friendly. The young guy who runs it talks to the customers like they are friends. He even gave me a sample of a new cantaloupe drink he had made. Cheeseburger is bomb ! They're online system is pretty much useless! I ordered and was charged, walk in and the girl behind the counter looks at me and says "oh we're still using that!!" She found it on her phone after a few mins and says they don't always get the orders?? Welllll Bobby don't have an online ordering system that doesn't inform your employees of your online orders ! Sorry Bobby... For me it will always be Ricks! Been coming here for years. The employees are always super nice, although a little rushed. Location is better than before and they seem to be making constant upgrades and improvements. The food is consistent. I recommend the beef burrito (or as they call it, "meat"), hot or taco, hot. The burrito is simple: Tortilla, meat, cheese, sauce. Great as a hangover cure! Spent many Sunday mornings (ok, afternoons) here... The recent move seems not to have affected the food, service or business, which is great as many places fail after making a move (Norma's) Critiques.. Don't like sitting under a flat screen tv... I'm from Texas and didn't know you could personalize jalapeños past "a little" or "a lot" (FYI get em sliced and grilled). Want quinoa and almonds? GTFO dude, go to the Counter... And the seasoning on that s**t.... duuuuude.... whatever they season it with has to be the same stuff that the Dutch East India Company started wars over. I was doing my best not to moan while chomping down on that salty, savory awesomeness. Long story short... there's plenty of places in Pasadena where you can spend $30 on an ostrich burger slathered in avocado and topped with a pinch of pretentiousness. They moved a few years back and changed the name but I found them and continued coming . Think dive bar meets burger joint. They would probably honestly give no fcks if the President strolled in here. So in all likelihood, they don't care who you are and are not going to go out of their way to make sure you're well taken care of. I wish I could give 0 stars because I am extremely disappointed in the service. I ordered a breakfast burrito (I have never ordered this before) I usually just get the cheeseburger special but today I wasn't really feeling a cheeseburger. The guy at the counter was fairly new (but very sweet) I guess he is just learning the menu which was completely understandable that he might not fully remember what is in everything we all make mistakes it's normal. So I get my burrito, everything is perfect except that the burrito contains a burrito sauce that's tomato base you can tell right away as the burrito is moist with the sauce, I try to be positive at first- I am a very picky eater but I am not one to complain and I definitely didn't want to say anything until I at least tried it. I tried it and I did not like the sauce at all. So my boyfriend goes and tells the workers what is going on- they automatically say we can't give you your money back we already gave you your food. 1. I don't want my money back 2. All I wanted was a new burrito without the sauce. My boyfriend and I really didn't want to cause a scene over this because it wasn't worth the fight so we just let it go. Most places are very understanding when food items need to be changed but I guess not here. It wasn't like we ate half or the whole burrito and then brought it up. There was literally only 2 bites taken on that burrito and it looks all messed up in the picture because I still tried to clean the sauce off after they told me they couldn't do anything about it so I can attempt to eat it but even that was a fail I just threw it away. I will not be eating here again the lady with the short gray haircut was very rude and there was a young gentleman with his nose hanging out of his mask sneezing on his arm multiple times and never washed his arm. After I saw that I requested a refund and she said it's OK he tested negative. I'm not sure if she's the manager or the owner but from a customer service perspective you should never argue with the customer if they want a refund because they don't feel comfortable eating at a place where a teenager is sneezing around you food during a pandemic. After I requested my refund she told me that the other gentleman would have to do that for me because she didn't know how. I finally was able to get a refund to my card.But I would expect at least an apology like I am so sorry this won't happen again instead of a bad attitude don't waste your time don't give them your money. read more

Not sure why you'd go to TB or Del Taco and pay $2 for a taco, when for a quarter more you get fresh ground beef, cheese, lettuce, and slice of tomato. And free fresh salsa if you're so inclined (vs. a hot sauce packet). Plus, the meat is not greasy at all, so unlike TB the shell stays extra crispy. Highly recommend this place. read more

Usually I would not notice this but I saw my burger sitting there for 8 minutes while the fries are getting made and I was in a hurry. Tried the cheese burger set today, which includes a cheeseburger, drink and fries. Cheeseburger is okay. Definitely above McDonald's, but below In-N-Out. They offer Pepsi at the fountain, and choices are pretty limited. I was disappointed with this limited number of choices. Fries is okay, it's not fresh made from potato, but it's hot and juicy. It's better than McDonald's, and close to In-N-Out. The place is pretty quite and spacious too, mainly due to competitions down the street. One thing to complain, the menu and its font size are too small to read from distance. I wanted to rate it three stars, but decided to give it an extra star to four stars in order to support small business. read more

The best little spot in town for Mexican 'fast food', I come here regularly for tacos and fries when we order lunch for everyone in the office. I love fries and they give a generous helping. I've also had burritos, tostadas and the jalapeño fries. The other day I tried their breakfast burrito. It was so good I was surprised it didn't taste like the everyday basic breakfast burrito. I think it's the tomato based sauce they use but not sure. It was jammin tho, I split it and we were both satisfied.
