I stopped at this place today June 6th, 2025 and it is Open and they serve breakfast and lunch until 3:00pm. I ordered the cheese enchiladas with a soft shell beef taco and rice and beans and a ice tea that they brewed on the spot for me. The food was very delicious and I will be coming here more often. They have indoor seating and if need be they probably could put a table or two outside, I came here close to 2:00pm and they close at 3:00 pm. The lady thanked me when I paid cause I gave her a five dollar tip, which is normal for me to give a 25% tip. I am glad this place is open. I ordered the $17 chile verde burrito (no rice, cilantro, or onions--just beans and the chile verde). Unfortunately, the filling resembled dry carnitas with a light splash of green salsa rather than true chile verde--dry, lacking flavor, and disappointing overall. On the bright side, the chips and salsa were solid, and the service was friendly with food made to order. The ambience leans classic Mexican diner, but it was uncomfortably hot inside--definitely not ideal for a summer visit. read more

The air conditioning is never on they used to be $10...King taco has them for $12 you guys have to lower your prices and put the air conditioning on...... We stopped by to have breakfast on a Sunday morning. We were the only customers inside the restaurant but we decided to still try it out. We ordered the veggie omelette, house potatoes, and sourdough bread. The food was served in less than ten minutes. The meal was decent and I enjoyed the tasty potatoes, the only negative was the old piece of cantaloupe that was included on the plate. Local and has really good food in my opinion. Stay with the Mexican menu for the best experience. Pupusas are basically made from scratch and DELICIOUS. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Very friendly staff, makes you feel welcomed. The parking lot is tiny and shared with 3 other businesses, so just be aware of potentially having to park on the street. This place is near my daughter's school so i went in here one time that I was absolutely starving and had only 10 mins before I needed to pick her up from school. I didn't have high hopes for the place but I was super pleasantly surprised!! The woman at the counter was nice and had a good sense of humor. My cheeseburger was so yummy! At first I thought it was just because I was so hungry so I took my husband in the following week before pickup and now it is one of our regular spots for a late lunch when we have been busy running around and need to pick up our daughter soon. OK so today one of the classes went to lucy's and one of the students found a cockroach that was fried under the tray were they put ur fries when ur getting a "to stay" The man who cooks the food grabbed the tray and threw it away and gave the student free fries. our school is literally across the street from it and our advisories go to it at least once a week. The FDA needs to investigate in this. it is disgusting that there was a fried an greasy cockroach. also the fries are greased up and usually soggy from the amount of grease it contains. read more

If you live in WeAlt, this is really the first place you hit when you're coming off the hill. I have had several meals there and am always happy with them. It's not big on charm but the food is consistently tasty. Standard Mexican fare at pretty good prices. I come here for breakfast sometimes with a friend or two...most customers are getting take-out, but staying in the little dining room, the staff will come by and make sure your salsa is topped up and that your drinks are full. I'm actually getting hungry as I write this...how funny. Wish there were open later, though. They close pretty early. read more

First off I can't believe they messed up my order. The lady at the front barely speaks English. Their tables were sticky and the restaurant smelled like the mcdonalds play place. They shady cook in the back took 30 mins to make my cheese burger. When I finally got my food I went outside and was harassed by some gardeners begging for work.
