Went here on a whim on a Monday night because we were in the mood for bbq food. My wife had the ribs and corn , I had a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and my son had fried chicken and waffles. They gave him ALOT of chicken and it was super crispy and delicious. He said the waffles were ok . The ribs my wife said were very good but were not like the fall off the bone type of ribs more like the firm type. My sandwich was delicious Only "complaints" would be that it was pretty dead, there were only 4 other tables aside from us and one who sat down 10 -15 mins after us and they got their food way before us . But that's not that big of a deal. The other thing is my wife has Celiac and she asked if the sweet potato fries could be pan fried and not fried in the oil with everything else , and they wouldn't/couldn't do that. Not sure why they couldn't accommodate that request. So freaking disappointed. My fiance and I only go out one Sunday night a month for dinner to treat ourselves. Came to Bobbiques tonight, walked in and was seated at the high table right behind the register, the place had maybe 6 other people inside... I give my fiance a look and he tells me "it's fine just leave it alone.." no one comes up to us for a solid 10 mins and when she did come to the table, no introduction or anything, just "what can I get you guys..?" At that point we already figured out what we wanted to eat so we just placed our order for dinner.. food was dropped and I went for the hot sauce, the bottle was bone dry.. awesome. Again my fiance tells me to shut up. But then he bit into his burger and it was completely WELL DONE. Burnt. He ended up taking the buns off, and cutting the meat up into bite sized pieces. He also asked for double cheese, and it had one slice on it. I know sounds miniscule but I mean, come on. The waitress never once came back to the table asked if we needed anything, not refills, not is everything okay, not how is everything..nothing. The only reason I kept my mouth shut was because my fiance got mad at me when I said I'm gonna say something. When I looked around to get the check, two waitresses were directly behind us at the register on their cell phones. It's so disappointing. We just wanted one nice night out. We count down to the Sunday that we get some alone time together and eat a nice meal. We will never come back here. Should of went with our first choice and tried "the meetball place". This spot is the best for bbq on long island, here's why.... This restaurant has always stayed true to it's roots. Newer restaurants have popped into patchogue playing the same dance and rap, with typical spinning light strobes. Bobbique's continues to provide great live music you can rock, and soulful blues and jam. I love that this place hasn't sold out. Kyle Fitzpatrick was an amazing guitar vocals! I recommend checking him out next time he performs. Beers on beers on beers! So many crafts to choose from. I, unfortunately, am a Bud Light girl, and they have those too for losers like me haha. Food is pretty good too! Chicken wings are my weakness. And good coleslaw too!! But I ventured out and got smoked sausage. Such a good call! Serving size is plenty for lunch the next day. We got pickup from Bobbique for lunch. We ordered the lunch special of ribs chicken wings and a pulled pork slider. Sides were coleslaw and collard greens. We got two orders and went to sandspit park to enjoy our lunch. The food was excellent. Collard greens the best I've ever had. Wings were awesome and had that charred grill flavor. Delicious. Great place to have good beer and enjoy decent food. I ordered 3 meat combo with pulled pork, ribs and shrimp. All was good, not the best BBQ I tried, but not the worst either. They did not have a variety of sauces normally available at BBQ places like that, but I am not a fan of them anyway. I had the 2 meat combo with corn on the cob and sweet patatoe fries. This one knocked me on my butt it was soo good. My 2 meats were pulled pork and St. Louis ribs. Just the meat alone no sauce was great with the sauce even more better. The sweet patotoe fries were amazing with the sauce it came with as well as the corn on the cob. Orders (1) and (2) had no complaints on the meat but said the corn was over cooked. Order (3) was unhappy with the size:price ratio and thought they were dry but overall enjoyed the dish. I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got to try it. The had two different bands play for the time we were there on Friday night which was cool. Tons of beers to choose from. We tried the bacon mozzarella sticks , burnt ends and bacon Mac and cheese. My favorite was the Mac and cheese. Great flavor and really good. Mozzarella and bacon was pretty good. Could have done without the burnt ends. I thought they would be crispy and smaller but that was just me. They weren't bad. I came to Bobbique on the day of the St. Patrick's Day parade in Patchogue with a group of friends. We were seated quickly and given menus right away. The atmosphere at Bobbiques is laid back and pretty relaxed. The menu had so many varieties, but I was bummed that they were out of Miller Light. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was delish- plenty of sauce and the bun was warm and soft. I also ordered the side of Mac and cheese, which was tasty but slightly dry, like it had been cooked a little bit too long. I'm not usually a chicken wing gal, but the BBQ Chicken was so perfectly tender and tasty. The Pulled Pork Slider was bite size perfection with coleslaw and pickles on top of the meat. My favorite sides were the Mac and Cheese, made using pasta shells, and the Red Bliss Potato Salad. To drink, I had the best of both worlds with the Aperol Bourbon Fizz, made with Basil Hayden's Bourbon, Aperol, and Soda. Specialty cocktails are only $6 at Happy Hour, and there are some great ones! Stoped for lunch today. Wife had ribs I had BBQ Shrimp. My Wife ribs were some of the best ribs she has ever had very tender and tasty. I tried them and wow they were good. Now for the BBQ Shrimp. Beytin you're probably over 25 times and most of the time I haven't had food So I'm going to give three reviews in one. The most recent time I went there what is the best experience I have ever had there.. The wait staff was super attentive which is a shark considering my next to reviews, I got a burger and it had the spot charging by the other two times though I don't know if I was super hungry or if it was super good but it was very tasty at the moment regardless. The second most recent time I went there, It was a horrible experience we had this waitress and she literally came over twice the entire time, Wants to take the order once I drop off the food..After about 15 minutes of dying of thirst after I already ate my food and had not one refill like I said took order drop the food off that was it..My boyfriend got fried pickles and he ate one of them they were so soggy (hate pickles did not eat) Couldn't complain because the only time we saw the waitress was when she dropped our food off...The temperature on my burger was wrong meaning the cow was crawling across my plate while I ordered medium but I couldn't complain to anybody because there was literally nobody around,My boyfriend ordered hers burg of the same and it was cooked right but it was a different style burger and there was just too much stuff on it but at least it was edible. Decent, not great Patchogue BBQ restaurant. The chopped brisket is a bit lackluster as are the baked beans and corn bread. St. Louis style ribs and the pulled pork, however, are very good. They have a great selection of beers but the glasses are really small. Best is that they serve Kriek cherry or raspberry Belgian beer and they give you the whole bottle. For $9 they better give me the bottle! Service was a tad huffy but fast and tabs are average. Worth a try especially for the ribs. read more
