Roasted Mountain Oolong MT with brown sugar boba
Paul B.

Good drink but doesn't stand out. I ordered the Roasted Mountain Oolong MT, 50% sweet, less ice, brown sugar boba. I could taste the tea sometimes (not in every sip), a bit watery. Boba and sweetness level were good.

Ultra convenient location on 1st Level at Mall of America, but with so many tastier alternatives nearby, I would go elsewhere. Signature Milk Tea (2/5) my typical order at every boba store in MN. Significantly weaker taste than their competitors. Pineapple Jasmine Green Tea with Passion Fruit (3/5) you can really taste the pineapple flavor, reminds me of summer. Service was friendly and efficient. The store was small but clean and cute.

My kiddo was in the mood for boba tea and this was right on our way as we headed out of the mall. It was fairly busy and had to wait to order on the screen. I think we also saw someone order in-person too, so that appears to be an option. There are no places to sit but a couple of "tables" available to stand for two groups but it would cramped for folks trying to order which isn't convenient. In addition to drinks, there were chips to purchase as well. We ordered the brown sugar boba tea. A plus was that we received the drink very quickly after ordering but the packaging, once the straw was put in, leaked if you didn't hold it perfectly straight until you drank it down a bit. So it got all in my kid's hair since she was holding the drink close to her face. Thankfully, the drink was pretty tasty so we are willing to give it another chance.

Back on my boba BS- and I had to stop at uni uni! I ordered my go-to brown sugar boba and was very satisfied. I would've preferred to pay with cash but I only saw the card reader machines so I paid with my credit card instead. It was fine, I'm sure there would've been a way to order with an employee though I didn't see how. Will definitely visit again!

Taro tea

They rebranded from the old Uni Uni - I got the Taro flavor andthis boba tasted like water unfortunately, very disappointing wouldn't recommend

Stumbled upon Uni Uni in the Mall of America. This chain is opening up in Milwaukee and I am very happy to have a taste test before they open. I am super excited that mochi donuts are getting more popular. If you like donuts or mochi, you will love a mochi donut. It is fluffy and chewy. A texture dream. I got the strawberry circus flavor and the frosting was sad and lacking. It would of been leveled up if the donut was actually sufficiently covered. The matcha tea with cheese foam was a hit. Plenty of bubble tea options for everyone. Overall I like the self order and can see this place hitting the mochi and bubble tea spot.

The bubble tea at Uni Uni is pretty good! I got the medium uni signature milk tea for $6.25. The tea flavor is super rich and noticeable which I really like since most other bubble teas at other stores are super sweet, which hides the authenticity of the tea flavor. TheirToppings range from $1 to $1.50 Variety of toppings including Oreo cheese foam and mango popping boba. Their drinks are pretty pricey. The cheapest drink after tax is $6.25. Overall rating: 7/10

I was walking around the mall and saw so many people carrying around boba in the same container and I was thinking it looked so good but couldn't figure out where they got it from. I walked all around the food court and simply no luck even though so many people in the food court had it in their hands. Finally, as I was leaving the mall I just noticed it on the first floor by the exit to my car: the place where everyone was getting their bubble tea. I stopped in and ordered a Large Thai Tea with Cheesefoam (full sugar, less ice). It was so good. I really love cheesefoam and Uni Uni gave a generous amount and their Thai Tea was so delicious. My partner also got Thai Tea but with Boba, 80% sugar, and full ice. She also loved her beverage as well. Definitely some of the best Milk tea in the area and quite a wide selection. A lot of the signs are in Chinese and also English and communication can be a barrier with some of the people working so make sure to be patient and I recommend looking up questions on your phone before you get to the counter to make ordering easier!

The 4 star is with the caveat of it depends on what drink you get. Also had some 2 star opinions on their jasmine green tea latte that I'll outline below. The first time I went was within a couple weeks of their opening. We got the Oolong Milk Tea and Uni Fruit Combo Jasmine Green Tea. We had to wait for a while since the store was extremely busy and they only had a couple people working from what it seemed but the wait was understandable from the amount of people lining up. The Uni Fruit Combo Jasmine Green Tea was decent, maybe not my go-to drink there but still pretty good. The oolong tea was surprisingly good with decent tea flavor. Today I went again and we got the Jasmine Green Tea Latte and the Mango Yogurt with Crystal Boba. The Mango yogurt comprised of a bottom layer of yogurt, middle layer of mango, and top layer of milk. Looks really nice and aesthetic, but it was difficult to stir all the layers together and definitely got mouthfuls of straight yogurt. Once it was all mixed together though it was delicious. The Jasmine Green Tea Latte was a bit of a disappointment. The tea flavor was pretty good, but the experience was definitely severely impacted by the fact that the drink was half milk and was not shaken/mixed. It was difficult to stir the drink and so I ended up drinking mostly milk for the first half of the drink with pockets of sugar. Once I was able to mix it properly about halfway through the drink it wasn't bad, but I already had to go through 1/2 a drink of overly milky jasmine milk tea. I probably won't be getting this drink again and will try other ones.

We tried to order two mango teas with Boba. Got two different drinks, both were not good, with some curds-looking flakes floating inside. :(

Ordering was super difficult. The person taking orders wasn't able to explain or advise on drinks. The menu assumes you are a regular and know what you want. I felt like we were shooting in the dark, and the drinks were disappointing. Had we had our questions answered, our experience could have been much more satisfactory. Location is awesome though, just wish the drinks and service were better

I have been wanting to find a boba or bubble place for so long! I like how you can order through the electronic device in the store. You can add toppings and the menu shows pictures, which is great! I preferred more of the fruit drinks versus the milk teas, because I thought the milk teas had too much milk, without a lot of the flavor. Also, the line tends to be long, so be prepared to wait upwards of 10-minutes. Other than that, can't wait to visit again!

Our kids love this place! Can only vouch for the smoothies and yogurt with crystal boba, but they've loved everything so far.

I am not a hater of being on the phone when you are slow but they literally took their time to acknowledge me and then when they put it down they sort of grunted and just looked at me. I was hoping for some sort of greeting or a "what can I get you?" But nothing . Super bad service. I left without a drink as no one should feel like a bother when paying money for a product.

Heyyy it's Tii Cup and it's nearly perfect-my new favorite bubble tea chain (that's locally owned…read moreso I've heard!) My partner and friend and I were insane enough to head to the mall the Saturday before Christmas for some Pokemon Go. They chose a bench not far from this Macy's to rest and I wandered away to find the Macy's restroom and was happy to realize Tii Cup was in this location. The line was longish and inconvenient because it impeded some entry into Macy's itself but they were staffed up and the wait wasn't long. The lady taking my order was very kind and patient while I figured out what was dairy free and what I wanted to try. Since the icii flavor of honeydew was made with milk I went for the matcha instead with tapioca pearls. My drink was great but not my favorite as last time, I'll stick with the regular milk tea and not their blends next time due to their lack of flavor options for me. Thank you Tii Cup!

The Richfield location is my favorite, I love walking here during lunch. My favorite drink is Jasmine Milk Tea snow with Boba and herbal jelly. The tea is fragrant, not too sweet, flavorful and the boba is always cooked perfectly. The special thing about this location is that they serve Taiwanese street food, my go to is the popcorn chicken- you get a choice of original, spicy, garlic, curry or Cajun- I always get a mix of the garlic and spicy, have yet to try the other flavors. Be forewarned, spicy is actually spicy, so ask for less spicy if you just want a kick. It comes in a paper bag, similar to what one would get when ordering mini donuts but with popcorn chicken, 2 skewers to jab a piece of chicken with. I always ask for a little bag to put my chicken in so I can easily hold it, eat it while drinking my boba and walking. It's really meant to be the "street food" experience. There are 2 ways to order, at the kiosk or at the counter. There is a bar table along the window with chairs to sit, swings long one wall and a few tables closer to the back. Most usually take their boba and go. Additional tip, be sure to get a stamp card, once it's filled you're eligible for a free boba tea.

There was very loud music playing which was very distracting…read more The drink was good almond iced tea but I ordered from the kiosk and thought I got the wrong size. The employee initially ignored me and then said she couldn't do anything she went based on the ticket. I just didn't appreciate how rude she was. Another employee was wheeling a large garbage can right near the table I was seated at and through the front door to empty it. I thought that was strange.
