This was our second time trying the West St. Paul location. The only reason we even gave it another try is because the Woodbury location closes at 8pm, and this one stays open an hour later. We walked in and the young lady behind the counter was friendly, but just like the first time no strawberries for the Berry Splash Snow Biing. That's two times now, same issue. What really frustrated me though was trying to call ahead before making the trip, only to find out their phone number is disconnected. When I asked about it in person, I was told their phone just doesn't work anymore. It's hard to serve customers if they can't even reach you. They do only have one small order kiosk, so I could see that being a slight issue if you are there when they are busy. Every time we visit, they are always consistent with their flavors. The spicy tofu squares are mighty tasty! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. They have a particular spice that tastes exactly like the tofu squares I had from a street vendor in Taiwan. Almost like the flavor packet from a package of ramen, but a very specific flavor. There are a lot of drink choices, from bubble tea, icii and snow. They also have the shaved snow desserts that are so fluffy. I will definitely come back to try the other Taiwanese snacks and drinks. read more

Horrible customer service. My boyfriend came in to buy a Taro Coconut Smoothie with black boba at 4:19 pm today. She messed up the order and gave us a coconut smoothie. We obviously said, that's not right because we ordered a taro coconut smoothie. The girl with the big old lashes pour the drink back into the smoothie with the boba and added a bit of taro flavor in. Then handed him the drink with blended at boba. This is not okay. They need to train their employee better. read more

Passed by this place and thought I'd give it a try! Reasonably priced boba tea and lots of flavor options. Service was quick and the seating area was clean and cozy. The reason for 4 stars is that the tea seems heavy on the powder for taro and Thai tea. It's not my favorite type of boba tea as it can be too thick and not as refreshing. Finally taking time to share my Tii Cup review after 3 visits in the last 2 weeks. Let's start with the Wonderful customer service. They are helpful and knowledgeable. On my last 2 visits I ordered the Vietnamese coffee but the coffee maker was on the blink...Booo. That's the drink I thoroughly enjoyed on my first visit. The great staff made recommendations for other options that I might enjoy and I did. Be ready to carryout there is no seating available in this tiny sweet spot. It was pretty busy when we arrived, but the space was set up for COVID quite well, and everything felt very safe. I ordered an almond milk tea with boba, and my son had a watermelon slushie-like drink with boba. Prices were reasonable, service was friendly and helpful, and our teas came out in a reasonable amount of time considering how busy they were. They were delicious. I'd happily come back. I went to order food but they only had appetizers so I didn't order any. I came in to try authentic Taiwanese food but they didn't have any. I went to use the bathroom which didn't have a sign not to use. After I used it, the worker scolded for using the bathroom which I stated that were wasn't a sign not to use it. I started coming here over a year ago, enough times to fill up 3 punch cards. And I'm done with it now. The consistency is all over the place. The first time I ordered anything I got a Icii, it was nice and smooth 0 ice chunks. About 80% of the drinks I order are delicious, but the 20% of the drinks have ice chunks and I can't stand it, making me not want to come back, along with the high prices. Tii Cup has several Twin Cities locations, but the one in West St Paul is the nicest I've been to so far: roomy, with outdoor seating, and excellent staff. I love these boba places where I can tailor my smoothie to exactly what I want. You can choose the flavors, sweetness level, and add-ins such as boba, red beans, etc. Their prices are very reasonable and the quality is good. There are so many choices that I studied the online menu first to make my selections. Ordering online usually works flawlessly to be able to go in and pick up your order when it's ready. I came across this little treasure while heading to Harbor Freight; great staff with a wonderful assortment of refreshing bubble teas and other exotic drinks.
