The spot is casual, but clean and well organized! There's a bar with plenty of TVs for sports, and then other tables for groups of 2-6 people! I grabbed a spot at the bar since I was there by myself. The bartender was pretty casual, but efficient and friendly during my stay! I went with the classic Rush Hour 4, since that was what I had seen most on social media! It was delicious perfection! The fried rice is fresh, with some veggies to give it a bit of uniqueness. The chicken tenders are the star...crispy, juicy, lovely flavor! The addition of the Yum Yum sauce is lovely for the chicken OR the rice! I can't wait to come back and bring my friends!

A promising start! Good chicken sammich and well-fried onion rings. I will be back for another try…read morebefore long. Tender Lovin Chix moved into a sizable brick&mortar restaurant out of what I assume was a successful food truck. My to-go order came out of the kitchen quickly (~10 min) which I appreciate but I waited awkwardly at the host stand and ordered food from the bar. There seems to be table service but only one server for the whole dining room and no host. Hopefully it's just a wrinkle that will get smoothed out over time. There are TVs all over the place so the game is the vibe. The interior is clean and there's a spacious bar that looks comfortable to eat and drink at. There is plenty of seating inside and also patio chairs and tables on the sidewalk. You'll find a few parking spaces out back. So, it's got more going than your average sports bar but still seems like more of a casual spot than sit-down dining. My chicken sandwich was juicy inside and crispy outside with a buttery soft bun holding it all together. The side of fried rice had a good texture and mild, pleasant flavor. The onion rings were classic - thick and fried crisp. Everything was well prepared and tasted great. It's real comfort food that will hit just right when paired with a beer or cocktail and a win from your favorite local sports team. I didn't see many veggie options on the menu which was not a surprise. Bottom line - if you want some fried chicken, this spot is worth a shot.

I got the 3 tacos and rice and beans at the Portland ave truck today. When I got back to my car…read moreand opened the container I was already dismayed. There was little over a table spoon of beans smeared on the plate. This was really an ok thing as these were some of the worst tasting and dry beans I've ever tasted. They surely must be from a can with some canned Chiles and a whole lot of salt. Just terrible beans. The rice was not much better. But, they did give about 2 tablespoons of it. I had ordered 1 Birria taco and 2 Asada tacos. Both were just a whole lot of meh. Nothing good happening here. Just roll on by.

Whenever I drive by it seems to be open! You can park basically right next to the food truck - super convenient. There's not places to sit but you can take it somewhere else or sit in your car! I went for the first time recently and ordered 2 mulas and a mandarian Jarritos all for $10. They take cash and card. The food came out really quickly. I've never had a mula before and I really loved it! I got lengua and asada. It was generously filled with the meat and was also cheesy with a crisp but soft tortilla. It came with 3 different salsas which were spicy but so good! Overall really solid Mexican street food. Looking forward to future trips here!
