Edward Dessert Kitchen is an absolute must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. I tried a variety…read moreof chocolate-based desserts, and every single one was incredibly creative, beautifully presented, and genuinely delicious. You can tell a lot of thought and craftsmanship go into each dessert--these weren't just sweets, they felt like edible works of art. The chocolate flavors were rich without being overwhelming, and each item had its own unique twist that made the experience fun and memorable. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully balanced, which made it hard to pick a favorite. If you enjoy inventive desserts done well, Edward Dessert Kitchen is definitely worth the stop. I'd absolutely go back to try more of their creations.

Since…read moremy job moved out of dt/the city I don't really hang on this part of town much but definitely have a list of places I'd want to go, and this was one of them. Wish I would have visited more often. Staff were friendly. Sad they are closing the doors for good soon. Such a cute place! We got there in the evening so they were out of a lot things (very limited options for desserts) but they still have drink options. I got the hummingbird and mango oat milk matcha. My sister got the brookie (brownie cookie). Everything was really good. The place was packed and stayed consistently busy! They close 6/29/25.

Seems like they had a lot to offer outside of ice cream and I'd love to try more things from here another time. I got the sweet potato as well as the honeydew ice cream and as someone who likes trying less common flavors I was very excited about how many options I had. Both were amazing and full of flavor - they also had many flavors that were more traditional for those who don't like to venture out as much.

Had it been in a cup I could have definitely shared it with someone else. The flavor was Red Velvet. With a about 16 ice creams in the case, they let you try samples, and after trying that one (my second) I was sold! While it doesn't have the tang that red Velvet cake has (yes the cake, not just the frosting) I really enjoyed it. The texture was very pleasant. You get the creamy ice cream, with the mixed in cake, and bits of mini chocolate chips in each bite. Yum!!! Aside from the ice cream case, they also had a cooler with ice cream sandwiches, and several flavors of pint sized ice cream. Some of those flavors weren't even in the case (like a cinnamon toast crunch one). There were several tables indoors and outside so seating wasn't an issue. The only thing that could be is parking don't let that deter you. I look forward to returning for another flavor.

I wanted to eat every item on the menu and had to limit myself so now I have to return at least 3 to 4 more times to order everything I would love to try. See my comments about the photos because that'll let you know just how delicious everything is. I also had the crab ravioli, and that was out of this world and then the rabbit pasta dish was also quite tasty if you like that kind of game (not pictured). My mocktail was refreshing & the decaf coffee with dessert was the best decaf I remember having. The restaurant was packed even at early dinner and by the time we left, there was a line out the door. I don't see that very often anymore and I can see why they are going so strong right now. Great atmosphere, upbeat music pulsing in the background. People come here to celebrate and I got to sit beside people having an anniversary. It is so cheerful because everybody knows they're going to eat something delicious and they are right.

Good food in spots, but an underwhelming overall experience…read more It's hard to reconcile the experience with the restaurant's reputation. Service started out well but felt increasingly scripted and impersonal as the evening went on. Our server seemed knowledgeable about menu availability but offered little in the way of specials, recommendations, or genuine guidance, and rarely checked on us once the food arrived. The timing was surprisingly disjointed. Our bruschetta arrived before either of our drinks, my wine came well before his cocktail, and the sides arrived well after the main dishes. Menus were left on the table, too. The food runners were good and silverware changes were handled properly, but the overall service lacked the coordination and attentiveness you'd expect. The food had some highlights: the bruschetta was delicious, the gnocchi with cauliflower and orange was excellent and fresh, and the sweet potatoes were very good. Unfortunately, the cavatelli with rabbit sugo fell flat and lacked flavor. Even the atmosphere felt a little contrived. The prominent black-and-white photo of Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings seemed disconnected from the otherwise bare walls, rather than part of a thoughtfully curated space. Combined with the scripted service and lack of genuine engagement, the overall impression was almost "this is what we think a great restaurant should look and feel like," rather than an experience that felt natural, welcoming, or particularly memorable. We'd enjoyed a few cocktails before arriving, thinking dinner would be the highlight of the night, but it never quite delivered. For a restaurant with such a strong reputation and the wait times to match, I expected more polished timing, thoughtful recommendations, and genuine hospitality. At around $160, the experience felt overpriced for what we received. In retrospect, neighboring spots like Parlor and Butcher & the Boar lived up to the hype more.
