I would say I have pretty high boba standards and on the Minnesota scale - Tii Cup is up there! They have several locations across the Twin Cities and I'm glad they do! Service is always pretty good, they're pretty friendly and try to get orders out as quickly as they can. Any time I've had an issue they've been really nice. This location is in a really convenient spot, in a shopping mall, nearby a ton of other errands you may need to run! This place caught my eye and decided to give it a try. I walk in and it's a very small place not much room to hang out really. You order on these screens and they have a pretty big menu. At the end they ask for tip and the percentages are pretty high. I'm a bit confused at this Tio thing as I don't interact with anyone and just pick up my drink on the shelf. I've noticed service can be a little slow, especially during peak times, so I only visit when I know I have a little extra time in my schedule. There isn't a lot of seating, and most tables are occupied by people waiting for their drinks. Nonetheless, the staff are always friendly. It's a cute little drink shop. My family and I love stopping here after playing at a nearby park for refreshments. We love that they have self orders kiosks or someone to take your orders. Depending on when you go, it can get quite busy, and sometimes they may be short staff so be patient! Fantastic boba but they added kiosks that won't let you place an in-store order without putting in a phone number. Why would a store need a phone number for an order placed and paid for in the dang store!? I'm livid, I love this chain so much but I absolutely will not ever go back to this one. If the same thing happens at other locations I might have to give up on the chain as a whole which sucks because their boba delicious but I absolutely cannot stand things that require personal information for no good reason. I'm so glad that Tii Cup opened in Roseville (closer to me of course)! There are so many flavor combinations of bubble tea to choose from and mix with non-dairy options as well. However, you don't get to choose your sweetest level. But there is also shaved ice and bubble waffles. I LOVE the iced milk tea with soy milk, lemon and ginger and tapioca pearls, the coconut lychee and mango tango shaved ice! Only downside is that they don't have the kitchen and space to do the Taiwanese Street foods like the Brooklyn Park location. Otherwise, great place for boba in the Twin Cities! Tips: They have a punch card (10 punches/stamps and get a free drink). There is parking on site, the place has a gender neutral restroom and there are several board/card games for customers to enjoy! read more

This location is my favorite Tii Cup! I went here with my friend and we got the green Thai tea with tapioca, matcha biing, and the coconut pandan bubble waffle. I was very happy with the biing. Its texture was smooth/creamy and had great matcha flavor! The share size is also HUGE and only $2 more than the individual size. The flavor of the green Thai tea was really good but the tapioca wasn't as flavorful and soft as some of the other bubble tea places. The coconut pandan waffle was a bit disappointing. The waffle wasn't crispy on the outside nor chewy in the inside, it tasted like a normal waffle with light pandan flavor and coconut flakes. read more

I am so excited they now have this location in Roseville. I cannot wait to come back and try more things but my first impression is that they are a cute little shop in the strip mall. They have some seating inside and some out. I had the passion fruit green tea with mango popping boba. It had good flavor and the right amount of ice. My only complaint was that when I was there the manager was trying to train some lady who kept complaining about being there and saying it was too hard and she wasn't even getting paid for it. Not sure what that was about but it was kind of annoying to repeatedly here that when I was only in there for like five minutes. Overall I highly recommend you come out and try them! read more

Service is kinda hit or miss, but in their defense I tend to sneak in 30min before closing, so they're probably tired after working long shifts and wanting to go home. I like that the drinks are consistent across Tii cup locations, so once you find what you like, you're guaranteed to get it the same everywhere you go! The inside of the shop looks cute, definitely styled for taking Instagram pictures. There isn't much room to hang out or sit there. I usually pick-up & take it to go. Ordered the tarococo milk tea. It was a mix of taro, black tea, and coconut. It was not bad. The coconut flavor is pretty strong. I got a level 2 sweetness which was still very sweet, I think I would have been better off with a level 1. The shop is a good size, a few tables and chairs to sit at, also some outside. read more

I love this place! There are so many flavor and boba/jelly options to choose from it's like a dream come true! A lot of people come here, so the line can get pretty long, but the workers work really hard to keep up with the high demand! :) I ordered the Strawberry Paradise. This is one of my favorite drinks because it has fresh apple slices, basil seeds, and jellies! It's super light and refreshing. I also like that you can choose your sweetness level for the drinks! My husband got the Royal Thai Tea with coffee jellies. It's not too sweet and the coffee gives the drink the perfect/subtle jolt! This is also one of my go to drinks! I've been to this new location about 3 times now and each time has been great. Service is friendly, fast, and patient, which is key when you're wading through so many delicious options! My go-to drink is Mango Lychee Black Tea with Mango popping boba and Lychee jellies. SO good. It's really sweet but still delicious and once the ice melts down and dilutes it a little it's like you've gotten double the drink! Score! They're also very generous with their toppings. Finally a Tii Cup location that isn't all the way in Brooklyn Park or Burnsville, yay! As usual, the bubble tea here is consistently great. A wide variety of flavors and add-ins, all of which are clearly indicated as dairy-free or not (for those who know the struggle of being lactose intolerant). Seriously, if you've never had bubble tea, you're doing yourself a disservice. They're addicting - one sip in and all of a sudden you're asking for seconds. You can't say no to the sweet aroma, milky texture, and fun bubbles. There's actually no difference in terms of aesthetics from its other locations. The bright green set-up and furniture are exact copies of their other two sites. Despite being new, the baristas are great and know what they're doing. Friendly, attentive, and pretty comical too. I should mention their Hong Kong egg waffles seem to be a new addition -- as the Twins Cities slowly incorporates this fun food trend, you can try it here at an affordable price. It's definitely not the best nor the worst, but the texture of egg waffles are always fun and worth a try. Despite only offering three selections, you can customize it if you ask. It's a bit sweet, but it'll offer you the much needed sugar-rush. Prices are standard, maybe a bit cheaper than Sencha or Kung Fu Tea. Tii Cup is definitely way more family friendly and local than the other bubble tea chains. Plus, it pays off to drink here! Tii Cup is a 5-star in my book. I wanted something refreshing to clean my palette after eating a meatball and garlic pizza. I decided to stop in for some tea. I went with the green peach tea + bursting lychee bubbles. This was a hit! It was one of the most refreshing drinks that I've ever had in my life. The peach​ flavor was bold and went well with the green tea. I recommend getting​ large for a few cents more, it's the better buy in my opinion. I ordered two and it was made at the speed of lightning. I paid for it and by the time I knew it, the drinks were ready for pickup. The customer service here is A+. I have to say this was by far my worst experience at Tii Cup. I worked all day and decided to treat myself to a berry splash. I always get this with just strawberries and the strawberry yogurt only. So I explained that to the person on the phone, she said it back to me and I said correct. After about 5 to 7 Minutes a young man came out with my order I thanked him looked in the bag and said excuse me he heard me and came back to my truck. I explained to him I didn't want chocolate drizzle or anything else I only wanted strawberry yogurt and fresh strawberries, he apologized and took the order back in the store. The same young man came out and gave me what I thought was what I ordered but it wasn't . What he brought me was the same order as before, they just scraped the chocolate drizzle off of the initial order and put it back in the bag. The bag also had chocolate drizzle on it and you could see pieces of chocolate drizzle on the edges of the berry splash. At this point I called and asked for a manager, they said they would check and see if one was present. They came back after 7 minutes and said one wasn't present but asked if I wanted the managers email I said yes, but with what I paid for also. They apologized yet again and promised to make it right and bring it out to me. After another 7 minutes the same young man came out and gave me what I had ordered, but by this time I really just wanted to go home. I was anxiously awaiting the opening of this location as I've heard good things about the other location. I've had the taro bubble tea; which was the best I've had in MN due to the actual use of taro in the drink and the various additions you can add to it. I also had the mango and strawberry shaved ice cream and it was fantastic as well. I love the little bits of mochi. The service was great and friendly. The shop was a little disheveled as it was towards the end of the day. Can't wait to go back. The two things that could make it better was: 1. Find a way to use environmentally friendly cups and straws. The ice cream was in reusable/washable dishes. I would even go for being able to bring in my own refillable cup for the drinks. 2. Adding pandan as an ingredient to add to food items. I was honestly impressed by the amount of time i waited. Thirty minutes (2:45-3:18) for two little drinks and a waffle. The drinks were, well, something. One of them wasn't bad! the other... It was supposed to be matcha and pineapple, but you wouldn't guess it by the vomit coloring of the drink and the confusing flavor that was neither pineapple nor matcha but some other mixture entirely that tasted like artificial citrus, something sweet, and watery. Which is interesting, considering that means the ice must've had time to melt before I received it. And the waffle, oh the waffle. It was cold. And I don't mean that it had started to cool down. I mean it was on par with the temperature of my iced drinks. Inside it was the undeniable flavor of Hershey's syrup. There's a distinctive flavor to it, unlike other chocolate syrups. There's no doubt that my cold waffle was filled with HERSHEYS sauce, and a few slices of strawberries. In total, this cost me nearly THIRTY DOLLARS, THIRTY MINUTES, and drove me to finally download this app just so I could hopefully protect others from encountering this same experience. I had a bad feeling from the beginning when i went to the front to order and the workers seemed to do everything to avoid looking at me, and I didn't see the kiosk off to the side til later. I'm all for kiosks if they make the process swifter or more convenient for workers or customers, but a note up front or a sign or something so I knew not to wait would've been great. Alas, that was a lot to hope for from this place. I still feel bad, I watched a lovely older woman take her 8ish year old grand daughter in and wait at least fifteen minutes for one drink (which came out before any of my drinks/food did, even though they came in after me). The poor woman was holding her purse closely and just waiting, while the little girl became exhausted of her excitement and sat down, watching each movement of the baristas with hope, before slouching again.
