I also got mini pancakes drizzled with white chocolate, Nutella and topped with bananas and strawberries. Both were so yummy and the perfect amount for a quick snack For dinner, I ordered the al pastor sopes platter with rice and beans and felt like a meal my friend's Mexican grandmother would make! What blew me away most was how fresh everything tasted, coupled with the large portions. The tacos and tortillas are hand made (hechos a mano) and that made a world of a difference. The woman working the window, who I believe may have been the owner, was incredibly friendly. She thanked everyone for being patient, smiled the whole time, and made us feel like she truly appreciated our business. Good customer service like that sticks with me. I ordered the Strawberry and Hawaiian Blue shaved ice, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. The flavors were bold, the ice was soft, and it was the perfect treat on a warm day.
