12 of 13 options. Sugar didn't make the cut.
Ken T.

I didn't have a ton of time inside this location, but I did a drop by on to an event. I purchased the 12 donut options that allowed my group to try most of the options. Everything traveled really well, and tasted awesome. I was looking forward to the Creme Brule, but pistachio turned out to be my favorite. I wish I had grabbed a cup of coffee to go with all of the sweetness. The individual who helped me was really helpful and answered all my questions with enthusiasm. I had a lot of questions because there were 13 options and the box only allowed 12 donuts. I would recommend a baker's dozen option in the future to make choosing easier :P

My daughter loves the korean corn dogs and the bubble tea from here. This cafe is located on the second floor of Mall of America near the east parking entrance. Small cafe with maybe 10 or so tables and chairs. They have an ordering counter with the mochi donuts they have available and the drinks already brewed. It comes in a cool container like a soda can. The korean corn dogs are made to order. Check them out if you're at the mall.

Always love boba tea and mochi donuts. Was fun to see how they put a can top instead of the usual plastic wrap. Highly recommend.

I have only had mochi donuts in Toronto. Isabella Donuts and LaMochi are the places that I frequent the most. Now that I think about it, I need to return to get my mochi donut fix. A couple of weeks ago, after I had placed my order for mini pretzel dogs at Auntie Anne's at Mall of America, I was about to head to my car in the east parking ramp and drive back to the hotel across the street when I saw Mochinut next door. It had the trifecta of awesomeness: - Mochi donuts - Bubble tea - Korean hot dogs My legs moved me inside this eatery. There was a couple in front of me. I liked it because I could spend some time looking at the menu. Well, as much as I love Korean hot dogs, I already had pretzel dogs with me. I decided to get a mochi donut and a drink. There were two folks running the show. The woman at the counter greeted me. A man was in the back making the donuts and hot dogs. I ordered the following: - Lemon mochi donut - Thai milk tea I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. She gave me a receipt with a number. She said that she'd call me once my order was ready. I found a place to sit down. If the table weren't dirty, I would have given this place a perfect rating. I fetched some napkins and wiped everything down. Let's just say that it took more than a napkin to make this table look decent. I finally heard my name. I went up to my counter to fetch my items and then enjoyed my light snack. The woman made my Thai milk tea. It had chewy tapioca in it. The tapioca was the best that I had ever had in my life. The chewiness was enjoyable and awesome. This drink was slightly sweet and tasted authentic. The woman made this drink and she did a wonderful job. I love all things lemon, so it was second nature for me to get the lemon mochi donut. It was excellent. This place does mochi right. This donut was chewy. The lemon icing was on the sweeter side, but not disgustingly sweet. Think more of a sweet lemon than a tangy one. I loved it. I hope that the cleanliness details get sorted out at the eatery. I like that you can sit down and enjoy good eats and drinks. I want to return for more, especially getting a Korean hot dog or many. (30)

Good mochi donuts, but not my favorites. Super convenient location at Mall of America second floor between rotunda and parking ramp. At $10 for 3 donuts, prices are high, but on par for local Japanese style donuts. We tried a few flavors: - Oreo (5/5) was our fav. - Strawberry (3/5) looks pretty, but strong fake strawberry flavoring. - Nutella (3/5) disappointed only bc I LOVE Nutella and this tasted like chocolate Hersheys syrup. Service was not rude, but not friendly either. Ambiance is minimal, clean and comfortable.

Thankfully for my waistline, I don't not live near Mochinut! It's a donut lovers heaven. The cookies and cream and pistachio were my favorites. Visited during the Christmas holidays while shopping in the MofA. Service was quick. Ample seating if you opt to dine in.

Thai tea milk tea and 3 donuts

Ah, a familiar chain that reminded me of home! Located on the 2nd floor East near the entrance. Visited twice during my trip, on a Friday evening and Saturday morning. First time shared the 3-donut box with flavors Lychee, Churro, and Original. The second time, I tried the 3-donut box with Cookies & Cream, Guava, and Nutella donuts, a half-and-half original Korean hotdog (half dog half cheese), and a Thai Tea milk tea drink without boba. Took these to eat at the food court. The Lychee and Guava flavored donuts were my favorite, the texture was as expected for mochi donuts. The Korean hotdog was good; I recommend asking for the Potato+Hot Cheeto dog as well as any of their milk teas. The price point was okay, I felt better purchasing 3 donuts and savory dogs, and a drink from here compared to the mini or lesser quantity of say, Beard Papas you could get for the same price.

Lemon missing a piece, hazelnut and sugar

Was so excited to see these at the Mall of America, 2nd floor east entrance. The space is ample, service was quick but indifferent. The donuts have that yummy texture and were fresh but the flavors fell flat. Lemon was not zesty, Hazelnut tasted more like chocolate syrup and the sugar was just ok.

Sugar, strawberry pocky and oreo cookies & creme

Omg! A slice of heaven. The donuts were delicious, dense but tasty. We order the 3 for $10 special (Oreo cookies & cream, sugar and strawberry chocolate pocky) my favorite was the sugar and runner up was the cookies & cream; the strawberry was my least favorite it tasted pretty artificial. The customer service was great - the cashier was very apologetic for not having the creame brûlée and churro but the signs being displayed. The store is a nice size with seating but it gets crowded extremely fast, but the average wait is 5-8 minutes. I can't wait to try their Chicago location.

I saw that this store opened at MOA and immediately knew I had to check it out. I love bubble tea and mochi donuts, so I was very excited. I have gone once before with my friend on a Saturday when they were busier, and then I went on a Friday when it was quieter. Both times were great experiences. The staff are very friendly, and the display of mochi donuts is so pretty. I ordered an original Korean corndog, and my fiancé ordered the Hot Cheetos flavor. We only waited a few minutes before our order was ready. While we waited, we sat at a table. The inside of the store is very clean, and I love the various decorations on the walls. As for the corndogs themselves, they were delicious! There are a variety of sauces to put on your food along with sugar crystals. I used honey mustard on mine, and my fiancé just did ketchup and mustard. We both really enjoyed the food here. I would love to come back and try their bubble tea and mochi donuts.

Brown sugar bubble tea. I didn't see any straws so I never got to eat the pearls

I was really excited to see there was a Korean hotdog and mochi doughnut place at the mall!! Unfortunately this fell a bit flat... First, this place is located on the second floor east side by the entrance/exit doors. Very easy to get to! The decor is cute and for a mall space, there is a fair amount of seating. The Korean hotdogs were really good! I would recommend trying those! They were crunchy, cheesy, hot and had a great flavor! There are some sauces on a table to the right for you to drizzle/dip if you would like. The mochi doughnuts fell flat for me. They texture was off compared to other places I have been. It almost tasted like they made them the day before? There are definitely places that make them hot and fresh, and those are really good! While the flavor is fine, it is missing the texture aspect that makes these soooo good! I would not recommend trying these, especially at the price they set for the doughnuts, just not currently worth it. The bubble tea was in a can with ice. There were no straws so I was unable to get to the pearls.... Seemed like a waste. The brown sugar milk tea did taste good tho. Overall I would go back for the Korean Hotdogs but currently nothing else. I know they are newer, so may be they will change some stuff up in the future.

Potato Cheese Dog + Cheeto Cheese dog + Brown Sugar Milk Tea

The Korean corn dogs are soooo good! Everything else... not so much.... I love the corn dogs so much. I def recommend the all cheese ones. The hot dog ones feel like it's missing something but every flavor is just so good. The potato and Cheeto are delicious! I'm addicted to them! I literally buy at least one every time I visit the MOA. Unfortunately I have to give 1 less star because the donuts and drinks aren't that good. The donuts seem a little stale and it's a bummer you can't order just one. I had to toss all 3 because they just weren't good. Maybe I just got bad flavors... As for the drinks, they are just okay. Very bland. The packaging is cute but for the price, I just expect better. The service is nice. The ambiance is very chill. Nice seating and the place looks good. I would love to give the donuts another chance if we could purchase just one donut instead of 3-5. :(

We were looking really forward to trying Mochinut for quite sometime and we finally made it to the Mall of America location to try them out. While they were pretty good, I can't get over the fact that they were over half an hour late in opening the storefront. This was pretty crappy. Other than that, the Mochinuts were really good! We had a lemon, strawberry/chocolate and crème brûlée. The texture took a minute to get used to but once you do, you will enjoy the heck out of them.

No option to buy a single donut, only 3 or 6 or more. Ludicrous. I don't see how hard it can be to sell an individual donut to one person.

What a cute spot a super friendly staff…read more I found this place on the Too Good To Go app and was pleasantly surprised with how much donuts I got for half the price. They were delicious and I'll be marking this spot as a top donut contender for 2026.

While this place is relatively small (as one would expect a hole-in-the-wall donut shop to be), they've made impressive use of the space, as there's plenty of tables and chairs to sit at (even a couple on the outside of the establishment, for warmer temperature seasons than presently, aha). It was clean and modern. The employee working behind the counter was friendly and matched my enthusiastic energy, which was appreciated. There didn't seem to be a huge selection of donut varieties available (though I was also there after 11am, which might have something to do with that... this place is open until noon or until they run out of product, whichever comes first), but plenty enough to give me difficulty choosing which to get! All the donuts/baked goods seemed to be priced at $2.50 each. Not an outrageous sum, though more than I'd like... I fear the days of the $1 donut are nothing but a distant memory nowadays. Anyway, I grabbed two donuts and went on my merry way home. The employee put them in a nice wax paper coated baggie. The flavor of the donuts was good. Not addictively incredible, but yummy. There's a decent chance I'll be stopping by in the future simply because this place is along a route I typically take for running errands, and my sweet tooth may compel me to "reward" myself for running said errands, hehe!

All of the donuts here are wonderful - there is a large selection of cake and raised donuts, with different flavors rotating throughout the year. I have ordered 2-3 dozen to bring into work multiple times, and each time I get questions and remarks on how fresh and delicious they are. If I am in the mood for savory, a personal favorite of mine is the breakfast croissants: warm and oozing with cheese, ham, or spinach! Although my go-to is the chocolate croissant; I eat it almost weekly! The bakery also makes and decorates special occasion cakes. I recently ordered a Princess Torte for a friend's birthday, and it was a hit! I always feel welcomed at this bakery, no matter how busy or quiet a day it is. You can truly feel the love and warmth (and smell the deliciousness!) of the staff and community that frequently return as regulars. The prices are some of the best around, too!

Great with coffee, great to walk in and get a couple dozen for a work event or gathering! The space is small and gives a very homey vibe but I believe they were bought out by Woullet recently. I popped in this morning to get 2 1/2 dozen cake donuts for a work event and had lovely and quick service. Donuts here are still super cheap which is amazing! There are lots of other baked goods to try here but I am so loyal to the cake donuts that I rarely want to venture out of my comfort zone. Many items in the display case look pretty delicious too though! Maybe one day I will branch out. Also conveniently close to Northern Coffeeworks for a proper latte :)
