I was so excited to try Cruncheese for the first time from all the photos and reviews I had seen and read. While it was good, I was left feeling a bit cheated and tricked. It wasn't too dissimilar to a standard corn dog + a little bit of crunch and cheese. I love a good corn dog, mind you, but I think this item, I think, just got to be too over hyped. The location was clean, had napkins available at all tables, and had a wide variety of sauce options to suit every taste. I was lucky and beat the dinner rush as it got slammed on a Friday at 5pm and the line turned into what seemed to be a 20+ minute wait. This is still a fun novelty item, but I wouldn't wait 20+ minutes for one. read more

Even better than I imagined! You'll find this Cruncheese location inside Asia Mall on the second floor, sharing a space with Snowbing. I had heard good things about this Korean corn dog spot, and have had a few before. The staff member was super kind, walking me through the different filling, topping, and sauce options. And they didn't steer me wrong! I looooved my crunchy potato one with cheese on the inside. It had the most satisfying crunch on the outside and gooey mozzarella stick-style inside. I'd love to try a hot dog one next time, but honestly the potato cheese was a winner! This definitely won't be my last Cruncheese visit :) read more

I love corn dogs so I was excited to try this little quick service establishment and decided on the half hot dog half mozzarella corn dog. It was a pretty reasonable price ~$5 or so. I would maybe try different sauces next time but overall was satisfied with my experience. There is pretty limited space and there are not a ton of tables though so I did have to wait for it to clear out a bit before I could sit down to enjoy my food. At the same shop you could also buy shaved ice desserts and some other sweet treats that I'll have to check out another time. read more

Awesome place! As soon as I walked in I knew it was going to be great. As a vegetarian, corn dog is usually a term that refers to meat, but I was pleasantly surprised with the vegetarian options. I got the potato mozzarella corn dog which is one of the meat-free ones. It takes a short while to get ready and afterwards you have a choice to add sauces. There are many different sauces, they range from spicy to mild and salty to sweet. The coolness of the garlic Parmesan sauce with the hot fried cheese was the perfect mix. They're always freshly made and extremely good quality. The staff is also really kind. The nice service makes you want to stay a little longer. I love the choice of colors for the wall. It's so decorative and cute. They got pretty crowded when we went, so make sure to grab a seat quickly, because this place is a hit! read more

One of our must do's every time we come to Asia Mall. This shop is combined with a Korean shaved ice spot which makes for a great treat spot. Cruncheese specializes in Korean hot dogs. You can get a hot dog, cheese or combo middle that is coated in a delicious batter. There are options to add potatoes and a variety of sauces that you can get. They are all made fresh and served very hot. It may take a little longer but it's worth it for the freshness! Service is always excellent each time we visit. Next time you stop at Asia Mall plan for a little extra time to visit Cruncheese! read more

I get these Korean corn dogs almost everytime I come to the Asia mall they are soo good, a lot of the time better and cheaper than a lot of the sit down restaurant food. They are crunchy, cheesy, and x10000 than American corn dogs! read more

I've heard about how good Korean Corndogs are...and I was pleased to see that they lived up to the hype. I tried both the potato and the cheddar corndog and both were great. Perfectly crispy exterior, great sauces (applied liberally...which is the right way to get it) and delicious filling. The actual hotdog was surprisingly excellent quality (not a cheap basic hotdog). The only star loss is for a slightly dirty seating location and staff that seemed slightly unfriendly (efficient and quick but not friendly). The parking is for the larger Asian Market so lots of space. read more

The best Korean corn dogs are from here. It's fresh to order and they have plenty of different combinations. We like to get the original corn dog with ketchup and sriracha. And my personal favorite is the half mozzarella half hotdog with potato on the outside drizzled with jalapeño ranch. It's good and I haven't had better anywhere else. Plus you will get the best cheese pull here! Also they have shaved ice and it's so good! It's all authentic. Whenever I go to Asia mall, we always stop in for a snack! read more

This korean hot dog restaurant is located inside the asian mall in eden prairie. Upper level next to the other eateries. I can smell the corn dogs cooking once I started walking up the stairs. They have a small restaurant but has tables and chairs for dining in. I ordered my corn dog and waited outside by the railings. Service was great, just order at the counter and once your order is ready, they will call your order number. Condiments and dipping sauces are all on the counter to dress up the corn dog to your liking. read more

Yummy and fun. A unique take on a corn dog with a crunch bun like texture on the outside. Great if it's hot and fresh. Would return but wouldn't have high expectations. Warning-don't order online in advance. I placed an order for pick up and they made it nearly 4 hours early and then I had to ask to get fresh food. Not the best customer service. First time trying a Korean corn dog and I was not disappointed! I asked the employee what to eir favorite combo was and it scared me a bit at first, but it was super good. Details in the photo! We also got the potato dog with garlic on it and although I love garlic, it tasted a little too strong/fake for me. Would've been better with just ketchup. I really enjoyed the location of this place. It was a fun treat after shopping around the Asia Mall! There was a good amount of seating in the space, so it was relatively easy to sit down and enjoy the food. The staff were kind of unfriendly, but it was busy and they were doing the best the could. The curt service was just a little off-putting to me. As for the food, I got the Potato Mozza Korean corn dog with hot sauce on top. Unfortunately, the hot sauce almost completely overpowered the rest of the flavors. Important note: These are pretty big! I would say one would be enough for most people. read more

Yum! My husband, 3 children, and myself came here on a Friday during Christmas break. We first ordered one Potato Mozza to try it out for fun. The cashier suggested a couple hot sauces to top it with. It was so good! So naturally, we ordered more. We tried the Mozza & Hot Dog and the All Cheddar, both were good, but our favorite was the Potato. Cruncheese shares a space with Snowbing, so we got our dessert at the same location. The kids keep asking to come here for Korean Corn Dogs! We love the Korean Corn Dogs with Potato Cubes. So delicious The service is ok. Just like many fast food joints, you order at the register and call your number when it's your turn for pick up. My wait was just under 5 minutes. At pick up, they'll ask you what type of toppings/sauces you like. We love the sugar topping with ketchup (and the boys like to add mustard). I was so happy when Cruncheese first opened their locations. Driving out of state used to be the only option when looking for Korean corn dogs, and many other Korean foods, so I'm excited to see Minnesota expand their food options a lot in these past few years. Corn dogs are always made fresh. My favorite is the rice cake potato dog with sweet chili sauce, but the other flavors and variations are good as well (Don't shy away from adding sugar on top, it's better than you'd think). Staff is friendly.The restaurant is located inside Eden Prairie's Asia Mall. On the weekends, the mall can get pretty busy, so far parking and a bit of a long wait might be in order. Not too many seating options, but it's usually a cute and clean little space. read more

These cruncheese are where it's at! A delicious quick little lunch. Lots of flavor combinations, but my favorite is the ooey gooey mozzarella cheese with the hotdog and side of sauce! The potato one wasn't bad either, but I prefer the original. My hubby loved the squid ink mozzarella hotdog. They also have drinks and desserts, so something here for everyone! Our order has been wrong 4/6 times we have been here- but it is good when it's right... our most recent trip today I was surprised to learn they will not provide a cup of water for you with your order- you have to buy bottled water. Overall, we come to the Asia mall to visit here for my kids, and as the parent and purchaser, I avoid coming here because of the only thing consistent is the disappointment. We would frequent here more often if the order was correct and if the customer service was better. read more

Stopped in for a couple corn dogs around noon on a Saturday! The mall was busy but the cruncheese location had a bit of open seating when we stopped in. We got two corn dogs for less than $11 and they were HUGE! They have a ton of sauce options (some of the marketing in store says cheese mustard but they didn't have it when we were there). Service was quick and within 10 minutes we had our fresh corn dogs, got them topped with sauce, and dug in. What we got: -One Potato crusted hotdog topped with Garlic Parmesan and Honey Mustard -One half mozzarella half hotdog topped with Sweet Chilli Sauce and Regular Mustard Overall both corn dogs were SO GOOD! A thick fluffy batter with a crunch that you can only get from a fresh deep fry - they weren't too salty or sweet and has good flavor all on their own (well as much as we could try on their own based on how much sauce was put on - but were not complaining :) ). If you're a cheese lover the half or full mozzarella is the way to go (the photos do stand up and it has an INSANE cheese pull) - but either way anyone can find something quick that they like here! Definitely will be back one day if we are craving some Korean corn dogs again. read more

I have not tried the cruncheese in Minneapolis, but this place met my expectations. Had great service and the hot dog was nice and warm when it was serviced. I liked the potatoes fries hot dog. This restaurant shares the same space as the Korean shaved ice (patbingsu). read more

These are only good when it's eaten fresh and piping hot. My daughter got the mozzarella and potato and by the end of it the cheese got a little hard (which I expected). I don't understand all the hype still, but this is not something I'd eat to be fair. They do have kiosk for you to place your order and the service was average waiting for about 10 minutes for 1 order. There are tables inside for you to sit and enjoy but if you can't find a table there are plenty outside in the dining area. read more

I recently tried the hotdogs at Cruncheese, and they were delicious. My favorite was the Cheddar Hotdog with Parmesan, topped with a sweet chili sauce. The Potato Hotdog looked cool but tasted average. It's a tasty treat. This place is always busy on the weekend but they have a lot of tables to hang out with friends. We came back on Monday evening and not a lot of people as expected. Service was a little bit slow but this Korean Hotdog is definitely worth a visit. read more

I can't believe I waited so long to visit this place! The corn dogs were SO GOOD. Super crunchy and freshly fried. The CHEESE PULL on these is everything. Kids favorite place to get a bite to eat. Potato and cheese one and potato and hot dog are top favorite. Always comes out fresh , piping hot and has a great cheese pull. It has lots of options for dipping sauce as well. There is shaved ice option that looks very good but we haven't tried yet. read more

This place definitely lives up to the hype! While it's hard to bring oneself to go here above all the other amazing options, I definitely would recommend trying this at least once. There's not a TON of seating, but enough for what it is and the folks working here are very helpful as the ordering process can be a little misleading -- they dip the dog in seasoning and drizzle your sauce picks afterwards, so you let them know all that afterwards, you only order the filling and batter essentially first. I ordered the squid ink mozza hot dog with cheddar seasoning, garlic parmesan and jalapeno ranch, with a strawberry dragon fruit refresher. It was all really really good! I have absolutely zero regrets and would probably order the exact same thing next time. read more
