Had to go support one my local favs!! They have an awesome chicken sandwich, bao, delicious fries lots of sauce options and a nice choice of ciders and beers. So happy for all the amazing local places!!

    Sweet potatoes, probably my favorite

It's a one person show when we were there. One person taking orders and making all the food. Very personable and pretty fast for doing it all himself. We ordered take out but if we had eaten there it would have been quite cozy and nice. They do have some beer available if that is of interest.

I want to preface this by saying that my first meal from "Abang Yoli" was a takeout order, so that may have impacted my enjoyment of the meal due to the ideal temperatures at which fried foods are meant to be savoured. That being said, their Korean Fried Chicken is the bees' knees! I loved the crunch, flavor, and juiciness of the fried chicken. This is their staple menu item, so if nothing else makes your taste buds moist, give the fried chicken a whirl. With the fried chicken, I ordered the "Asian Fries" and "Sweet Potatoes". Their sides menu is limited: kimchi slaw, steamed jasmine rice, house pickles, or Asian fries. The sweet potatoes are from their main menu options. The Asian Fries were okay, sesame-forward with a small amount of heat, but nothing unpleasant. I'm sure had I tried these on site, fresh out of the fryer, I would've appreciated this side a lot more. The sweet potatoes are not an option I'd go for again. It's not my style to bash a dish, so I will say this respectfully and objectively: the sweet potatoes did not have flavor combinations that I appreciated in the same way someone else might. I appreciated all of the sauce offerings. They were perfect for dipping the fries and chicken in. My favorites were the "Sesame Ginger Garlic" sauce, which tasted similar to the Ginger dressing given at every Hibachi/Teppanyaki restaurant with your salad, and their "Asian Mayo", which was also quite sesame-forward. All of that being said, I would like to go back, dine in, and indulge in their chicken sandwich as it's one of their top-selling items aside from the fried chicken alone. I think after a second dine-in visit, I could form a better opinion.

Drove by this place and decided to turn around! We got two pieces of Korean fried chicken (that is enough for two people) which comes with one side, either pickles or kimchi. We chose pickles which was a little cup of pickled veggies like cucumbers, radish, and carrots. The chicken was big and extra crispy! Loved the flavor of the breading. We also loved the sauces we picked too. Be careful, some are actually spicy like they state on the menu. They also have beer and wine. Love the variety of wine, I liked their crisp Sauvignon blanc. The chef was there, who was helpful and kind and the service was fast and friendly.

I am so happy that these guys opened a Minnetonka location. We got some take out and it was so good! The fried chicken is moist and the crust is perfectly fried. It comes with a choice of sauces. Also had the char siu pork belly which i also perfectly prepared. As an afterthought I also ordered the sweet potatoes. Amazing, highly recommended. The space is bright and plenty of room for dine in. They have beer, wine and sake. Don't wait to check it out !

First visit to the new location in Minnetonka and so excited they are here! Ate lunch on the patio. Friendly service and same great food! Did miss the Chicken Satays that are on the Malcom Yards menu and would love to see the Chicken Bao added here as well. We had the Char Sui and Rice Noodle salad

Second visit and food was still fantastic! We really enjoy the sweet potatoes which have amazing flavor! The chicken is hot and crispy when delivered to your table and tastes wonderful with various sauces - try the ginger garlic and also the gochujuang! Service is counter order followed by delivery to your table. Ambiance is pleasant. Go for the food!!

I've been told I must try the sweet potato entree by my culinary friends. Today I did. First off, the presentation was excellent. Neglecting a photo I began to enjoy this supreme dish with the Asian style mayonnaise which was cleverly spread over the inside of the deep dish so that I could easily swab the slices that I had cut. The combination of the topping along with the perfect texture of the potato made my tastebuds savor each bite. I can't wait to return. My friend chose the chicken sandwich along with 2 different dipping sauces. This was his second time here (as well mine) and I believe he is hooked. By the time I left at 1:30 the restaurant was still packed. I wish all of the success in the world for this restaurant because it has become my go-to place for comfort food.

I regret I did not get a picture of the sweet potato side. One of the best flavor combinations I have ever had. The chicken was super crispy, moist and not greasy. They shred the kimchi which gives in my opinion a better texture than sliced. Went well with the chicken. The in house sauces- we had goghujang and sesame, are so well balanced. Cannot wait to go back. Chef Yoo was present and coaching his team and I may have seen him do some dishes! Epic leader.

We've gone to their other location at Malcom Yards before but decided to stop by this location while on this side of town. Plenty of space for indoor seating and there's a good amount of seating outdoors as well. The food here is really good. The chicken usually comes out hot, crispy, and really juicy. If you decide to try the sandwich, this is also good too and goes well with a sauce of you're choosing. We also tried the char siu pork and grilled beef short rib. These are great with just a bowl of rice and/or with the ssam. Lots of flavor for both. The char siu pork is juicy and has a nice glaze on it. The beef shirt rib is juicy and cooked medium rare. So it all turned out great. The minor gripes that I have with this place was with placing our order and the amount of time it takes to receive our food. In addition to the char siu pork and beef short rib, we ordered the 2 piece chicken and 2 chicken sandwiches. For some reason, the guy completely left off the 2 chicken sandwiches, even after he asked us about what sauces to put on the sandwiches. We asked him to put the sauce on the side. I only realized the sandwiches weren't ordered after looking at my receipt. So I had to go back and reorder the sandwiches for my kids. It felt slow to receive our food, as it took about 20 minutes to start getting our first wave of food. They don't bring everything out together either. I believe we received our beef rib, char siu, then the chicken last. Approximately 5 minutes apart for each dish. When the sandwiches finally came out - about another 20 minutes later - they did not put the sauce on the side like I asked. I was pretty annoyed at this point but didn't want to wait another 20 minutes for them to correct it so my kids were good sports about it and just ate the sandwiches anyways. Overall, the food is great, but if the cashier at the time can work on paying better attention to order details and their customer service, this place could be pretty good. This put a small damper on my experience at this location. I'd still go back regardless, but would be very specific about what I want and make sure everything is correct.

This gets a boost for helping diversify the food options in the western suburbs. Like their other locations, the food is solid though only the chicken sausage really stuck out; the rest isn't mind-blowing unless you've never had Korean food before. To their credit they're not chasing specific trends. The service and ambiance of this location is mediocre and miserable, respectively. This space was bad as People's Organic and that place it was before that--it's somehow worse now. The stylistic changes feel more like a fast food restaurant and the massive cooler is *NOISY*. I've never felt obligated to point out a loud appliance until I visited this location. It almost drowns out the person at the register. There's no charm to this space. Speaking of: The front-of-house comprises someone disinterested who clearly does not want to work there. Why would you hire and train that kind of initial contact? The rest of the staff seems to be pleasant but is very full of themselves. It may work better as a delivery option. I was looking forward to this place opening but honestly I'd rather just go back to Kbop. Can they open a location out here?

A great way to try out some Korean cuisine!…read more We were seated quickly and the waitress gave us enough time to look over the menu. We really enjoyed the Mandu dumplings, that are crispy and have a flavorful inside. The Korean fried chicken was also a hit. We got the bone in and enjoyed the K barbecue sauce style. But I actually liked the tofu soup and army stew. These soups were not very spicy, but had the spice of the Korean chili flake nicely infused to a flavorful broth. I'm a big fan of glass noodles so the army stew had some nice salty notes with the spam and hotdog. My friend liked the tofu soup and it came with three Bach Chan side dishes. Would be nice for them to have a bean sprout side but the vinegar dikon radish was good! The space was inviting but maybe too bright for me with the lighting. Overall would recommend! I have had many a tofu soups in the cities and i would say this one is my favorite!

Food was fantastic! The pork bulgogi was thankfully not filled with fatty pieces and had a pleasant heat that didn't take away from the other flavors. I was not a fan of their kimchi so that and the "salad" they gave as a side went untouched. I think my only suggestion would be that because the bulgogi is such a great portion, I wish there would have been more to the side of rice. Over all, I really enjoyed my first experience and look forward to trying their fried chicken next!

I would give her drinks at 3/5, they're one margaritas way too sweet for me. However, were their other special cocktail was more well-balanced. They also have a great variety of beers and wines. Their food was really excellent. I will give it a 4/5. Definitely get their Reuben! This is one of the best ribs I've had in a long time. They also have a great variety of seafood, which is hard to find in the Twin Cities. I had yummy mahi-mahi tacos with a grilled taco shell (which is rare, I always get a soggy taco shell whenever I get fish tacos). Atmosphere is 5/5. They have lots of seating indoors and outdoors. Their outdoor outdoor patio is gorgeous and has an outdoor bar. They do tend to get busy on the weekend so I would arrive early or make a reservation in advance. Service was good, slightly slow to get our drinks, but our waiter did check on this multiple times to give us updates. Definitely will come back again!

I've been to Duke's quite a few times, and I'm surprised that I have not reviewed it previously…read more It is what I would call a very solid sports bar restaurant. It was fairly crowed for a week day dinner and I suspect that it usually the case. On this visit I had the full-size Thai Peanut Salad ($19) which was very tasty, with a mix of chicken, salad greens, red cabbage, carrots, red bell pepper, edamame, green onion, cilantro, and peanuts, It has a Thai peanut dressing, and is topped with crispy cellophane noodles. It was quite yummy and had a surprising (but not obnoxious) kick to it. My wife ordered a half version of the Honey Pecan Chicken Salad ($13), which salad greens, apples, craisins, sweet potato, egg, green goddess dressing, with a honey mustard drizzle. She enjoyed it equally as much. The waitress was pleasant and filled my pop without me asking (always a good sign). There is a back room for parties and large groups, as well as a side area that is more bar-oriented. This restaurant used to be the second location of the Greek Restaurant, Christos. Back in the Christos days, it was more cozy and quiet, which I miss, but then again, this is a sports bar, so I guess it's not fair to compare. Duke's had earned a place on our restaurant rotation and it's a good place to go for dependable, solid food in a restaurant that is casual and fun.
