Located in the Mitsuwa plaza in Plano, Boba Republic is a cute shop to pick up refreshing drinks! It's definitely a great spot to check out when in the DFW area.

I LOVE IT! such nice workers, I asked for a cup of popping bob and they let me buy it! she was supeeer nice! the atmo was also really nice! they even have board games and a board with cut photos of customers! overall if you want boba, you should come here, they are super good but also really cheap! a small boba is $4.00 and a large is $4.50! I will be coming again!

Been here several times and usually get the matcha strawberry milk but decided to get the fresh strawberry milk. I love these two drinks, and add lychee jelly instead of boba. The drinks are super refreshing, sweet, and the strawberry flavor is great! You can adjust the sweetness level and milk type when you order too. Service is always fast and great, and the interior is modern and clean. Highly recommend these two drinks from Boba Republic!

We ordered the Tiger Snow Slushy and the Mango Lychee slush. I thought that the drinks were too sweet even though we ordered 50% less sugar already. It was your average boba shop; it satisfied the boba cravings but won't be something I will go out of my way for. They were very quick to serve and I enjoyed the ambiance. My friends and I enjoyed catching up and drinking boba!

Service was fast, seems like a good place to study since they have outlets. Got the boba republic milk tea drink (something with rice milk tea?) and it was not good, very very watered down and had almost no flavor. Boba quality wasn't bad, but definitely needed more boba since I felt the ratio was off.

Boba Republic is in the Mitsuwa shopping area and on our stop into Plano area, we swung by after having dinner in the vicinity and shopping around. The employees and seating were friendly and plenty. Drinks were swiftly made and we saw folks sitting, relaxing and holding meetings in this space. No complaints over my Wintermelon cream tea and hubs Avocado smoothie :)

I tried a black milk tea with tapioca boba, it's was very watery and sour... asked to replace it with a matcha milk tea, was also very watery and tasted like kid lipgloss. Cute atmosphere for studying, but I highly don't recommend the milk teas. :/

Sad disappointment of boba unfortunately. It's rare that I'm reviewing a place while I'm still in the place, but here we are. Got a lychee green tea as well as a hot taro milk tea. What disappointments. It's not even about the sugar level, it's the tea that's the issue to me. The taro milk tea does not taste like how it should. Can't taste the taro. It tastes like Jasmine milk tea. The lychee green tea, can't taste lychee, and can't even taste the green tea. It tastes like water to me. Really weak. I even bumped up the sugar from 25 to 50%. I don't want sugar water, I want tea. $6.50 for this lychee green tea was not worth it, and $5 for the taro milk tea with no topping was definitely not worth it. $11.64 down the drain. Unfortunately I feel that this place cannot even redeem itself. If they were to offer me 2 free drinks to give them another chance, I don't think they could convince me to change my opinion. Unless they somehow make their tea flavor stronger. Just my opinion of course. I even got with no ice so that it's not diluted. The reason why this gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because the logo is cool, and customer service is nice, along with making our drinks really quickly. I went from 25 to 50 to 100% sugar and they added more lychee flavor no problem. This made the lychee more pronounced in flavor, but not the tea. Not the workers fault, it's just the intensity of the tea made here. I just wish it tasted better. The boba is lackluster, tasteless, and tastes like a waste of calories. Don't think I'll be coming back, sorry.

Boba republic is everything a boba tea place should be. It's a few doors down Mitsuwa and is a great option for a yummy drink! It has a cute black and white theme with Totoro, the ordering process is highly smooth. Since it was an after meal treat and I'm lactose intolerant- I like to stick to tea based options. My favorite drink from here is Jasmine tea, light ice, 25% sweetness, mango and aloe Vera jelly. It's delicious!

Down a few doors from Mitsuwa is this clean and bright boba spot. It was my first time here, so I went with my comparison with other boba drinks go-to "Milk Tea with Boba". Filled to the rim was BR's tasty black tea; yet, as to their boba, they weren't well prepared, with some good, more overcooked, and, a few raw. Being so, simply their tea I'd order again. Cheers!

I went here for the first time to try their drinks, overall was not impressed with the taste. The boba republic milk tea barely has any tea taste, too much milk.

Mango Sunrise and Thai Milk Tea are my favorite fruity and milky drinks here! Customer service is always superb!

Cute new boba place that's in the Mitsuwa Marketplace Strip Mall. Really friendly staff, and cool vibes. Tea was really good here. If you're in the Plano area, definitely come try it!

    The best servers ever.

I always get a little envious of how every suburb of Dallas seems to have such a cool town square,…read moreand Plano is no different. Located among the shops and bars of historic downtown sits 1418 Coffee, a cute and genuinely great little shop that fits the area perfectly. Inside, the shop is fairly narrow but offers a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. I arrived with a friend a little before 11 am on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed. A biking group was posted up outside, students were inside working on homework, even though most colleges have not started yet, and plenty of other patrons were taking their Sunday mornings easy. Despite having at least 10 to 15 people in front of us, the line moved pretty quickly. My friend who was more of a regular at the shop knew a lot of the staff and had convos with them. It feels like a little community! I ordered the Maple Sausage Croissant sourced from Sugar Loaf Bakery along with a hot Purple Haze latte made with lavender and vanilla syrup. My drink came out fairly quickly, and I thought it was great. It was well balanced and not overly sweet. As for the Maple Sausage Croissant, it was exactly what it sounded like, a maple sausage tucked into a croissant. I initially expected the croissant itself to be maple flavored, similar to a McGriddle, but it was still fresh and enjoyable. They had been keeping them warm in a heater throughout the morning, which definitely helped. I have stopped by 1418 Coffee a few times when visiting Dallas, and I plan to keep returning. They consistently do a great job and fit right into the charm of downtown Plano. RIYL: A warm haven in a beautiful downtown.

The baristas are all super friendly and were happy to answer all my questions. It's also super cozy with dim lighting, and the music isn't super overpowering or loud. There's mostly comfy couches but also a few tables and high top seating. Just a little chilly, so I'd recommend bringing a jacket. I was able to comfortably complete some work on my laptop, with working wifi. There were also people here socializing in the morning. They no longer serve breakfast tacos, so I opted for a bacon cheddar scone at one visit and a lemon blueberry scone on another. They were both delicious! The baristas told me that their chai leans toward the sweeter side versus the spicier side, so I opted for an iced sugar-free vanilla latte, which was not overly sweet. I also tried the beez neez (latte with honey and cinammon) another time and enjoyed it! They offer 2% milk, which I don't always find at coffee shops. Since it's in downtown Plano, there's street parking, which wasn't difficult for me since I came at 8 AM. I believe there are parking garages located nearby. Overall, I've greatly enjoyed 1418 Coffee and will most definitely be visiting more throughout this month while I'm working in the area!
