I've been to this boba location quite frequently as it's one of the few that stays open very late and whenever the wife has the boba craving it's always a huge hit! We are huge fans of the popcorn chicken and fries though today when I received my order it was a bit soggy. So though I can't recommend the consistent quality of the kitchen items, I can say that their drinks are great and I love that they have seasonal limited drinks. Definitely get your hands on their new strawberry arnold palmer. read more

I had the boba milk tea and popcorn chicken medium spice. The milk tea is good but half of the boba was soft and chewy while the other half was hard. Tasted like half old and half new boba. I came here for 2 main reasons: 1. It's drive thru and 2. They have popcorn chicken. The line was a little long, but moved at a good pace. When I ordered the chicken, they said it would take 20 minutes so I skipped it. The drinks were good though. Came by on a Thursday night and was excited to experience my first boba drive through! Even though there were only a few cars ahead of us, it did seem like it probably would have been faster ordering in person. Besides that, it was nice to stay in the car to get boba! I ordered the strawberry yogurt blend with boba and it was delish! Boba was soft and chewy; the drink was not too sweet and a perfect blend of strawberry and yogurt. I will never come here again. There were maybe 3 cars in the drive thru and I ordered inside. Longest wait I've ever had for boba - 20 minutes!! I asked for a jasmine milk tea with boba 50% sweet and what I got was jasmine milk tea 100% sweet with no boba. Wtf? Tl;dr - quality drinks, large size for a decent price, boba could be better If you're looking for a super high quality boba drink, this place certainly lives up to the hype and its popularity! I went on a ~9pm Saturday, and was surprised on how long the drive thru line is. Yes, they have drive thru, but they also had plenty of parking in the back, in which the wait was arguably shorter than the drive thru (I would personally just park and order, never understood Americans and their drive thru lol). They also have the extra large boba sizings! I ordered a Hokkaido Milk Tea and  Jasmine Milk Tea. Let's start with the Hokkaido Milk Tea, since that drink was super rich and creamy. and stood out more. I would recommend this drink if it's your first time, it was pretty unique and different from the other Hokkaidos I've had. However, I would also order less sweet; the regular sweetness I got was a little too sweet and kinda hurt my throat from the sweetness after a while. The Jasmine Milk Tea was pretty average, but it is definitely more creamy and there is also more tea presence. It's a good drink if you wanna stay on the safer side of ordering, IMO you can't go wrong with a Jasmine! Their boba pearls were decent, but could use improvement. It should be noted that they are a bit smaller than your average pearl size, but overall nbd. Their boba was a little too soft, yeah it was chewy, but it was missing the bouncy feeling (texture was slightly off). It did have its own brown sugar taste though! I tried their Hokkaido Milk Tea without boba and OMG it was excellent!! A rich, deep black milk flavor in every refreshing sip. The milk tea was intoxicatingly sweet (not overtly sweet though), so be warned it is addictive lol. Even with a regular size, I was left wanting more after finishing my drink. Most definitely returning for more milk tea in the near future. And a huge plus is they have a drive thru here, which is very rare to see for milk tea/boba shops. read more

We don't have drive thru boba where we are from. So we like the convenience of using them while in California. It was very easy to order and I love drive thru that put two menus. One at the order window and one further behind so people can review before the window. I got Hokkaido milk tea while my sister go the cheese foam uji matcha. They got 3 sizes, the medium looked big already! We got mediums. They do not have alternative milk, so be prepared with lactaid. It was not that busy when we came, there was 2 cars ahead of us and we spend about 5 mins. The drink itself was very sweet. This place is really so so. It use to be really good but with the rise of the other boba giants, they should really step up their game. I had the regular milk tea boba. The milk had a powdery texture with a weird after taste as well. I did not taste any tea flavor, it felt more like sugar milk water. The texture of the boba was good and hence I still gave it 3 stars. I've definitely had worse but this will not be a top pick where I will come back again and again. It would've been 5 stars if the staff is more consistently trained because I think they have some of the best drinks I've ever had! I usually do the drive through...and curse the inefficiency of the staff as I sat and waited... plan for an extra 20-30 minutes out of your day so you can get boba at this drive through lol but you notice, I still go, and put myself through it. Because the drinks are that great! Be warned, some of the high school looking kids working the drive through are really new in this country. Once I asked for an extra straw, ended up sitting and waiting for an extra 10 minutes because the girl at the window dashed off to ask the manager in the back what a straw was in Chinese before coming back to hand me a straw by the window. So if you could speak Chinese, do so. I could've told her what I wanted in Chinese if she didn't take off like the wind as soon as I asked! I found myself screaming from the car "吸管！ 吸管！ a straw is a 吸管" to no avail because she was so freaked out and took off so fast! so if you could, speak Chinese! I came back today since I was in the area and waited about 20 min until I got to the window. Wait started on Baldwin and I hope they figure out a way to make 2 drive thru windows for faster service. I told the employee that I had a bad experience last time and was back to try the messy boba with less brown sugar sauce and the chicken and fries that were too spicy for me to eat last time. The drink was perfect and the boba stayed chewy even after an hour or 2. The chicken was a generous portion and the fries had a ton of flavor and the perfect spice for the mild I requested. I'm glad I returned to give them another try because they really did improve and thank you to the manager for comping my return since I was unable to eat the food last time. I parked to wait for my food but it didn't take long. Overall experience was great , just wish I lived closer to enjoy it more often. read more

Tried ordering something to drink about 2 hours before closing. I was trying to get some boba fries and popcorn chicken but when I was told the kitchen was closed I was cut off by the employee. Customer service is terrible. If you don't want to work at night don't. My final order was just going to be a milk tea that I already had in the order and before I could say it was just going to be the boba I got cut off again. Once I got my drink it was actually terrible and doesn't taste anything like milk tea, too sweet to even drink it. It's a Drive-Through and it is also my first time getting boba drinks from a drive-through, it is quite convenient during this pandemic time. Parking: There's parking spots in the near back about 4-5 spots. Drink: I ordered Messy Brown Sugar Boba Milk with less iced and 25% sugar. The brown sugar tastes pretty strong which I really like, the boba is nicely cooked. The only thing I would point out is the drink is still too sweet for me. Maybe next time I will try the 0%. Where's the first place to visit when you're back in the 626 neighborhood? A boba shop, of course, especially when arriving later at night. And what makes getting boba all the more convenient during COVID times? A drive-thru boba shop, the only one I know of, at least! It was my husband and my first time at this drive-thru boba shop. We really relied on the Yelp reviews and filtering through the closing times on Yelp for our decision of where to go. As we got closer to the boba shop, we knew we made the right decision. While some other boba shops down the street only had a car or two parked in front of it, this one had a full line of cars in the drive-thru, overflowing to the street. Since it was our first time here, we decided to stick with some drinks we knew we would like. We ordered the following two, large-sized: Wintermelon tea with grass jelly (25% sweet) - Light and refreshing. Square chunks of grass jelly (unsweetened) in just the perfect ratio with the tea. Cheese uji matcha latte with boba (25% sweet) - Creamy and full of matcha tea. The boba was soft, formed, chewy, and sweetened. It made the drink a little sweeter than I had wanted (personally), since the bitter matcha flavor was already lessened by the creaminess of the milk and cheese foam. The cheese foam itself didn't really have anything special to it nor did it have a distinct flavor itself, but it was the perfect combination with the uji matcha latte drink base. Their large-sized drinks were more of a jumbo size to me and my husband. We really enjoyed the drinks, but should've ordered the regular sizes. It does take some time between ordering, prepping, and receiving your drinks. I would say the process took a good 10 minutes overall. They accept credit card payment, and they'll ask you for your phone number to sign up for rewards (if you want them). They have a small parking lot with maybe total of 4 spots at the back (before you make that u-turn out of the boba shop). Overall, I was impressed by their concept and drink quality and will be back to visit again the next time I'm in town! read more

Ordered a wintermelon tea with grass jelly, 75% sugar and less ice. I was pleasantly surprised that the sugar level was adjustable since I've been told by countless other boba spots that wintermelon tea is already set in terms of sweetness.
