Pot roast sandwich and fried chicken dinner
    Brittney B.

My husband and I had lunch here a couple of days ago, and we had a great experience. He ordered the fried chicken dinner with carrots and green beans. I ordered a pot roast sandwich with fries. We also got Biscuits and gravy. Everything was hot and delicious. Our server was really attentive, served us quickly and got everything correct. He also never let our drinks run dry, which really shows great attention. The restaurant was clean, organized, and in great condition. There is plenty of parking. Everything was affordable and cost around $45 with tip. We would definitely eat here again. Rating from F to A +++ I give it an A+++.

I joined a couple of family members on their weekly trip to Bob Evans for breakfast. They talked up the Honey Butter Chicken & Biscuit Breakfast so I wanted to try it. My plate came out with a piece of fresh made fried chicken , two eggs, potatoes and a biscuit. I ordered a side of sausage gravy to go with it. I loved the chicken. It was juicy and the batter was crunchy...perfect. The honey drizzled on top made it extra special. My eggs were great and the potatoes were seasoned nicely. The biscuit gravy was bland and only had tiny specks of sausage in it but overall it's a solid breakfast.

Have eaten here many times, and it is pretty consistent with the quality of food, and that's a good thing. Too many times we eat at restaurants and they are great the first time but not so much the next, but this Bob Evans seems to be pretty stable. Our waitress was not the greatest but she did come check on us more than once. One of our favorite's is the Homestead Farmer breakfast, the gravy that comes with it is always delicious, a bit too salty this time but not overpowering, and the home fries were cooked very well. The only thing a little lacking was the scrambled eggs were a little cold and not very fluffy.

Bob evens for me is a staple when one wants a quiet breakfast. I am still sad to see that they haven't put the eggs Benedict back on the menu yet. Hard to find these days. That being said the food was on point; hot fresh and delicious. The service was a bit slow seeing that there was few people, but it is a Monday morning. Got a guys breakfast with my son and the Carmel coffee was great. Would have liked a thicker amount of hash browns especially as tasty as they are. The omelette was firm and full of toppings, though I always have to add the hot sauce. Overall a chill morning.

First time here and I will definitely come back! I had breakfast and it was some good southern comfort. You must have the gravy - DELISH! My rating is solely based on the food, my server was awkward and bland. We had to ask another server for coffee. So the coffee is ok, watery, but the coffee bean is good quality. The gravy is a must !! The banana bread was ok, not out of this word, so my expectation went down on that. Dining room was beautiful! Food did take a long time so don't come starving and plan accordingly.

Food and drinks are easy to get. Your server comes right to your bay, or you can order at the bar. We tried the mozzarella sticks, sliders, cheese pizza, and margherita pizza. The food was decent. Nothing particularly memorable, but perfectly fine for snacking while enjoying drinks and hitting balls. There are also plenty of things to do beyond the driving range. Kids will enjoy the small play area, and there's ping pong and a putting green, making it easy to entertain everyone in your group. The view really is the star of the show. It's beautiful, and being up on one of Clermont's rolling hills gives you a nice breeze, even on a hot Florida summer day. Who knew Florida had hills? After a couple of hours, though, the heat definitely caught up with us. We planned to cool off by having dinner inside, but on a Saturday evening the restaurant was packed. We probably could have waited for a table, but the indoor dining area was quite warm, so we ended up heading somewhere else for dinner. Overall, we had a great time. It's a fun outing for both kids and adults, and I'd definitely recommend it for an afternoon or evening with friends or family. Just keep in mind that during the hotter months, you'll probably want to go later in the day or on a cooler evening.

We were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and almost immediately after we were seated, we were greeted by her taking our beverage orders. I opted for the lobster grilled cheese with the kettle chips. The sandwiches were really big, but it was very delicious. The lobster is slightly chilled and they add Swiss and cheddar cheese to it. It was very tasty. The chips were good. I definitely could've done with less chips as it felt like they were overtaking the plate. My husband got the Texas wings. Which had the Texas dry rub with a honey glaze over them. Kind of gave you a spicy and sweet take. He said they were very tasty. Well seasoned and well cooked. He also got fries as his side and there is a dollar up charge for regular fries.

Restaurant was not overly busy and had plenty of staff to accommodate the small amount of guests. Waited almost an hour for our food with no apology from management. When our burgers were delivered our server claimed the kitchen made our burgers incorrectly- she either forgot to put it in or it had been sitting for quite sometime. Top burger bun was luke warm. Fries (that were an additional cost) were burnt. For the $17 price one would expect more than a thin slice of bacon for a burger with bacon in the name. "Enjoyed" the meal without anything to drink as I was never offered a refill of water.

When we arrived, our table was already waiting for us--beautifully set with rose petals. It was such a thoughtful touch, especially since I had only checked the "anniversary" box on OpenTable without expecting anything extra. The exceptional service didn't stop there. When they ran out of the oysters we hoped to order, the chef generously added extra shrimp to our shrimp cocktail to make up for it. To top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary chocolate cake at the end of the meal. The ambiance and music were really enjoyable and made for a nice atmosphere. The lobster mac and cheese and shrimp cocktail were both great and definitely the highlights of the meal. They were out of mashed potatoes and offered a baked potato instead, which was fine, but felt a bit underwhelming for the type of dining experience and price point. Unfortunately, the tomahawk steak was a major disappointment. While the center was cooked okay, the steak arrived only lukewarm, which made it seem like it may have been cooked too early and sat before being served. On top of that, the exterior was so heavily charred that every bite tasted burnt and completely overpowered the flavor of the meat. For a steak at this price point, that level of quality was really disappointing. What made the experience worse was the confusion over pricing. Since the tomahawk was listed at market price, we specifically asked beforehand and were quoted $125 by our server. When the bill came, we were charged $175. After my husband questioned it, the explanation became unclear, and we were ultimately told $125 was the correct price and the bill was adjusted. Had we not spoken up, we would have been overcharged by $50. We really wanted to love this place for a special occasion and appreciate supporting local businesses, but overall the experience ended up being just okay.
