Sorry, but you can't be a real foodie unless you are appreciate a meal at Waffle House. I love the warm welcome from the staff as I walked in. I highly suggest you enjoy the best show in town and sit at the counter. Ms. Shay was quick to offer me a beverage and then took my order. My show today included Manager Karen at the grill, training a new cook. Food was up quickly and just as I'd ordered it. I've eaten at dozens of Waffle Houses and I always find the staff to be absolutely lovely. I also learned today about the "dish pit". We had just moved here and the kids wanted to "not eat at home" so we headed out. Didn't know where I was going but Waffle House is familiar. Walked in and was greeted with smiling faces. The kids all got hats and ordered what they wanted. Food is always good ol diner food. They also have pretty good Apple pie when they have it. We took two slices home and enjoyed it. At this time my youngest had a medical walker and surprisingly this location was pretty accessible for him to be able to get around easily and his walker not be in the way once seated. read more

When I left from getting my pick up order and waffle house has charged ridiculous fees. My food cost $26.50 which means they raised their prices and that's fine but when I looked at the receipt they charged me and extra $5.90 for service fees and to go supply fee. They say there is a sign up but I've been going here for years and have never been charged this. And I ignorantly left a tip not realizing I was already charged a tip. Shame on Waffle House, we won't be back. And I'll be sure to let everyone know that this is how they treat their patrons. read more

Never been to this particular Waffle House before. This one is so busy the only time you can get a seat is after 2pm. Food is excellent, not as greasy as other houses if you care about that. I ordered take out and I'm pissed that my all the way hash browns are lacking the chili and gravy. That's not cool man. You might ask why I didn't check my food before I left. Because it's a Waffle House, if they can crank out orders when there's a line out the door I would think they could accurately make one order when there's only two people in the joint. Maybe the cook got distracted by the health inspector who was also there. Who knows? Also upset that the size of the sausage biscuit has become tiny. You know how many McDonald's I had to pass to order this pathetic sandwich here? But that's probably corporate's fault. Anyways, go here. My first non-breakfast in a Waffle House as it was lunch time and I'd already had a couple of eggs today. I opted for the cheese burger which was surprisingly excellent. You'd think that a place with "waffles" in the name would only be good at waffles, but you'd be incorrect. The coffee tasted a little burned and the server could have done a better job refilling my water cup. It was also really loud in there with a crew who seemed to think yelling stuff at each other (not food orders - personal stuff) was a good idea. So it's not a five star visit today. They will not allow service animals. Was refused service. Filed discrimination suit with the DOJ. Military, veterans, and other people requiring service dogs do not go you will be asked to leave. I have all the papers even the extra hologram, (he even goes on cruises with us and foreign countries). Contacted Waffle House Corporate and have not yet heard from them after a week. Still go to other locations and no problem with my animal. Will not return to this one! read more

A place for being opened for about 6 months, it can use some cleaning. Aside from that, the staff is very friendly and fast. Chef whips up your meal in no time! Since it has a small dining area, odds are that you will not wait for a very long time for food even if the diner is full. The Waffle is delicious! The syrup dispenser was very sticky and had tons of syrup on the outside, hope that it was just an off day for the staff, but my pet peeve is sticky sauce containers, which explains why they get a 4-star instead of 5-star rating. A plus for this place is that there is tons of parking outside, appears that there is more parking than seating in the Diner so you'll never have trouble with trying to find a parking spot or even having to park and walk a far distance. read more

I travel very much for business throughout the state and there's nothing like finding a good Waffle House. This particular location is the best I have had the pleasure of visiting for a late dinner. It was very close to my hotel, but regardless, located in a very convenient area off of the highway. The restaurant was extremely clean from the menus, to the silverware, the ketchup bottle...exceptional. Speaking of exceptional, the service was fantastic. My server was very friendly, she always asked how I was doing during my meal...very kind. That type of customer care goes a very long way especially when you've been on the road or are totally drained from work. I felt I was treated as a local who is a regular at this location. Now, let's not forgot the cook. He was extremely fast and efficient. He prepared my patty melt and smothered-covered hash browns just right...just the right amount of crispy. I left very satisfied. This was a bad experience for my family and I. Our waitress was very rude and impatient. We are ordering our drinks and I ask her what kind of Hi-C they have. She looked at me like I was dumb and with an attitude rudely proceeded to tell me they had the normal Hi-C! I correct her and start naming flavors off to let her know I wasn't a dumb bunny as she assumed. She immediately turned my happy, smiling mood into and angry, pissed off mood. (I wanted to knock her head off for talking and looking at me that way, but she was saved by the adrenaline flowing through my blood that pushed that cannabis through my system faster.) She then goes back and talks shit about me to her fellow co-workers. How do I know? Because she has an obnoxiously loud voice! So whatever, so we are all 4 trying to look at the same 1 menu on the table and our waitress never helps us with that. She asked if we were ready, we say no we need a min. 30 seconds later she's back at our table asking again. This happened 2 more times so finally the last time we just order even though we were unprepared. We get our food.....no chilli on the hashbrowns for one person, no cheese on another person's hashbrowns, and I do get cheese but it's smaller than the size of a regular Kraft Single piece of cheese.... Right in the middle of my hashbrowns. The bacon, wow. It was so over cooked! It was so hard that it shattered when you take a bite. Super dark brown colored bacon too. Lastly, my over easy eggs were not so over easy. They had white slime inside. We didn't even waste our time complaining because they already showed us they didn't give a damn. We just wanted to eat and get the hell out of that place. The only reason we even stayed is because we are on our way to IL and we didn't want to waste anymore time.
