Jimmy John's - not the first time I've been here but realized I hadn't reviewed. It's at the end of the Winn-Dixie plaza. They have a drive thru and of course you can order on the app for even quicker food. I got my favorite beach club unwich which I love so much! What a nightmare going to Jimmy John's. I read our same experience happening to someone else after our visit there. Our neighbor gave us a few gift cards for keeping an eye one their home while they go away. One was a Jimmy John's 25.00 gift card! Brand new as well! Went in and ordered 2 subs. One Cuban and a steak or roast beef. Don't remember but the 2 subs came to 33.00!! Then they ran the card and was told there was nothing on the card!! I wish I had the receipt for the gift card! Instead of walking out, like we should have, we paid 33.00 for 2 very Anemic, skinny, almost meatless subs! My wife burst out laughing at the look on my face and the whole experience. If I didn't read that this wasn't the first time this happened, I wouldn't had believed it myself. Skimpy, over-priced and a new card that didn't work there. Neighbor asked us how all was going and we told him our experience and tried to keep it funny and light with him. He said, that should had never happened at all! I believed him of course, but these subs on top of everything else were like some of the other reviews and pictures of subs with no fillings for what they charge for these! We will stick to Publix subs instead for about 10.00 bux apiece and learned a very expensive lesson at the Tavares Fl. Jimmy John's! Never again! read more

Lousy tuna wrap fell apart. The flower tortilla was old They need to go back to Sandwich school.

Just a quick Covid update. They have reopened their dine in area, saying they have distanced the seating, but it is a tiny space. We have only ever done takeout, as the sandwiches are cold, so bringing them home or to an outdoor spot doesn't mean letting a hot sandwich get cold. They also sell day old sandwich bread for a good price when available. This store has drive through and delivery. Not sure about curbside. read more

When I hear the name Jimmy Johns, the sound of their commercial and promise for freaky fast sandwich delivery plays in my head and I have to say i'm ALL IN. Jimmy Johns has mastered "simple and delicious. However, this Jimmy Johns location (located directly behind my workplace has not mastered the art of speedy delivery...a key part of what brought me to order their quality subs. 20... 30... 40 minutes later.. still longing for my Turkey Tom... did they forget me? Did I do something wrong ? Will the deliciously crusted and soft baked bread take a turn for soggy? Nooooo... finally I couldnt take it anymore and walked outside hoping I had a flare in my car to let the delivery driver know I AM HERE! And ready for my sub! Only to see them delivering it to the business down the way. After intercepting my precious package I did like my sub but had ran out of time to enjoy it. Not for lack of a second try, my tastebuds began to crave one of their suns yet again and as I placed my order onto the app And confirmed I sat back and waited for my day to be made... 40 mins later, I had a delicious sub and a bad taste in my mouth. This review is based on my first and only visit here at this location although I have enjoyed a few subs from other Jimmy John locations. Getting in and out of this one off of the super congested 441 is a breeze, there's plenty of parking being the parking lot is shared by a number of other businesses. There are few tables inside the restaurant and a few outside I chose to grab my sub to go so I didn't care but I did notice there wasn't an empty seat available - you've been warned if you're planning to dine in. The staff was very friendly and yes "freaky fast" honestly the young lady that prepared my Big John #2 Roast Beef Sub handed my sandwich at the same time Ronald the super friendly guy running the register was handing me my change. The restaurant appeared to be really clean even though there were in the middle of lunch service. I order from Jimmy Johns at least once a week, usually more. It's my go to place for lunch. However, today I was unimpressed with my order. I ordered an unwich and the lettuce was brown, and the sandwich was a mess when I received it. I could barely pick it up and I couldn't eat it. I will be taking a break for a while. First visit, I tried their tuna(small), bread was nice and fresh but tuna was dark and not very good, asked for cheese, no cheese and they charge extra for onion. That small sandwich and small soda was over $8. read more

I had an amazing time visiting. I chose this location to order from because of its proximity to my home and the fact they remained open with Normal business hours during the entirety of the covid-19 issue. A lovely employee named Jade helped our first visit to the restraunt and got us accustomed to the menu with great ease. She was incredibly kind in spite of my not understanding the menu and seemed to bring a cheer to her role better than any customer service I've had in ages. The sandwhich she crafted was masterful and swift and they've gained a repeat customer due to the amazing attitude of this employee and a charm; both with the beautiful staff choice, and the calming atmosphere brought in. read more

Jimmy Johns offers day old rolls for 50 cents each so we stopped by and thought we'd buy fresh today rolls instead figuring the difference couldn't be to much only to be told that they charge $5 for a roll made fresh today! The manager there is a misogynistic jerk. I'll never eat here again. They basically stole $25 from me when they gave me a bad gift card. I had a receipt, but the manager implied I was trying to steal from them rather than fix the problem. When my husband went in they fixed the problem right away. So in summary they treat their male customers much better. If you aren't okay with that you shouldn't eat here either. read more

I ordered on line and i received my order almost two hours after . I had to drive to the restaurant and the excuse was "we are short with employees." You kidding me! Why take orders on line if you don't have enough drivers? I won't order from this place never again . Also, people at the store are not very polite either. read more

Jimmy John's offers subs for those who want a little bit more than Subway can offer. This particular location has a drive-thru which is nice. The sandwiches are customizable with consistent quality. The service is fast as well and the employees are always pleasant to deal with. It's my go-to sandwich place. read more

So glad they are nearby now. This is my favorite sub place and I was only able to eat there when I went to Orlando. Love their freshly baked bread and the selection of subs. Service has always been speed lightening fast. It's about a 20 min drive for me know, but it's definitely worth it. Thank you for coming to Lake County!! :) read more
