The vibe is so nice and the food was delicious. Not the fastest but very yummy! We got the French toast and scrambled eggs.

Very disappointed in our Thanksgiving dinner. It advertises a roasted turkey which would be interpreted as a full turkey which is what is provided with a Thanksgiving dinner from other restaurants and grocery stores. Instead we got very thin slices of pressed turkey that were rather tasteless. The cranberry sauce had small bits of orange peel that changed the taste completely and was bitter. The corn, mashed potatoes, dressing and gravy were good, beans a bit overcooked. Pumpkin pie was very good except for the crust which was ok, but broken off in several places when taken out of the box. We will not get another Thanksgiving dinner there. read more

Today I visited this brand for the fourth time in the last 6 months. All four visits were at the same location, 2 breakfast and 2 dinner. On all 3 previous visits our experience was enough to encourage a follow up visit. Sadly during this last visit I can not say the same for our experience. To start our service was less than enthusiastic and messed up literally every aspect. We generally try to make do and understand that sometimes it's the kitchens fault. This time it was clear the responsibility rested on the server. We had to share food while sending some food back and the food we were sharing was an entree that was already messed up that we chose to deal with. We spoke with management and he did his best to alleviate the most of our issues. We strongly suggest that the server demeanor be more customer oriented. read more

Pleasantly surprised I went into this one preparing for a sub par meal. Not sure why, I ate at a Bob Evans once before in a different part of town and from what I remember it was alright..... Anyway, I found myself out in Clermont for business and a little early for my appointment. My business partner suggested we grab some brunch here while we waited. I was stuck between breakfast and lunch and when my business partner pulled the trigger on one of their "Farm Fresh" Salads, I followed suit. I went with the Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad. It was large (not just all greens either) and really did taste farm fresh. The customer service was more than adequate and If I'm ever out this was again, I would definitely stop back in. read more

I enjoy going to this place for breakfast every time I'm visiting Clermont. Staff is always friendly and the food is good. I'm always smiling and happy for a place that has cheese grits. Biscuits are so warm and yum yum. When I order over medium eggs that's exactly what I get! Some breakfast places just give me over easy eggs and tell me to deal with it. The worse ever... i ordered a family turkey dinner in advanced with 2 sides with pickup at 5:30. I arrived a few minutes early. It took them over 15 mins to get the order together. While waiting i over heard the manager telling the staff they were out of turkey. Red flag. So i checked my order to find just a few strips of turkey for maybe one person and to my amazement it had been grilled to warm it up. After speaking to the manager the turkey was replaced with ham, big dissappointment. While eating we discovered green beans in the mash potatoes and corn in the gravy. Did we get served table scraps. The worse experience ever. What upsets me the most they tried to hide the turkey in such away that I would not notice the smsll amount and low quality until I got home. read more

Stopped for dinner at this Bob Evans with large group of 10 adults and 1 young one. We intentionally went for an early dinner at 5:00 pm because we knew we had a rather large group. The staff was very friendly, they pushed together a few tables in no time at all. The food was well cooked and order was correct. Everyone got exactly what they ordered. For extremely reasonable cost, everyone had hearty meal at Bob Evans. There were a range of menu order by the group, including chicken pot pies, beef pot roast, chicken tenders, burger, etc. Everyone's food looked good. A few of us, including me, upgraded for to salad/soup and desert meal for extra $2.00, which I though was good deal. I tried some of my wife's salmon, and she gave me piece to try; it was terrible, a cheap piece frozen fish from box. So if you go to there stick to simple casual dining choices like pot pie, pot roast, chicken, etc. Place was clean and staff was friendly, and service was excellent and cookies were good. As i sat here with the 3 other customers i over hear our wautress Theressa say... she gives regular coffee to people when they request decaf. Went there on July 13th. The place was not crowded and yet they seat everyone in the center around each other. Our waitress came after about 10 minutes to take our order. My wife ordered an omelet which comes with home fries and toast or biscuit. She has a gluten allergy and of course they do not offer a gluten free product. Anyways she asked if she could substitute the bread for a fruit and the waitress said no problem. I ordered a cheese burger without tomato or pickles. Again waitress wrote it down and said no problem. We waited about 25-30 minutes for the food to appear. My wife received what she ordered along with a plate of fruit that contained 3 small slices of melon, 1 strawberry and a couple grapes. Okay at least it was a substitute for the bread. Now here comes my burger. The slice of tomato on it is about a half inch thick. The waitress sets it down and says anything else and starts to walk away. I told her yes, she could have the burger back because it was not how I ordered it. She picks it up and says she'll be back in a minute. I am not stupid, the plan was to take it out of sight, remove the tomato and pickles and then return the same plate. I said no she can just take it away. Now she offers to have the Cook make me something else, nope I am good. She should have double checked the order before bringing it out, shame on her and the idiot cook who can't read. Anyways, she comes back twice more and stands next to the table to see if there was anything else she could do. No, we're pretty much all set. The third time she brings our bill. She sets it down and tells me that she spoke to the manager and the burger was removed from it. Damn right it was going to be removed because your cook and yourself couldn't get the order correct and I didn't eat it. So my wife finished and I took the bill and we went to pay. Doesn't the bill have coffee, the omelet and a $2.59 charge for the fruit plate that was suppose to be a substitute ! At that point I had enough with incompetence. I paid the bill and we left. This has got to be the worst Bob Evans I have ever been to. What a poor example of their chain. read more

This was my first time at a bob Evans restaurant and I will not go again. Our service was horrible. We had to ask for our drinks to get refilled when needed and she constantly passed our table up to check on everyone else. Then we get the food. My mac and cheese had cold spots. The carrots were warm at best and the steak I had didn't even taste like steak! I also ordered French fries and got hashbrowns. The waitress said oh I will have them make you some fries! Great thanks! Then about 7 minutes later I'm still waiting on the fries and she asks if I want dessert? I inform her I still haven't received my fries. She blames it on the cooks and walks over and gets the fries to me right away. So the only thing I actually ate were the French fries. And paid $15 for my meal alone. Our overall bill was $50. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! read more

I had bacon and eggs there on Monday and the bacon was so burnt, it was inedible. I pointed it out to the waitress and she offered to reorder the bacon. I didn't have time to wait since it took so long to get my order in the first place and I was now going to be late for work. She had the manager remove the charge for the bacon from my receipt but it still cost almost $8.00. The manager was at the register and did not say anything to me. We have been going to this particular Bob Evans for upwards of two years. For the last several months we've be going almost once a week, usually for breakfast or lunch. The food is almost always excellent, and has never been bad. The same goes for the service. The staff has always been attentive, friendly, and polite. It seems most of the visible staff has been there for quite some time, so it must be nice enough to work there and as a result these experienced and happy staff are good at what they do. I love hamburgers and fries, and I oftenorder them from all kinds of places. And I believe their burgers are among the best I've ever had at any restaurant. I'm not a coffee drinker but the people who I've dined with that do drink coffee say they have some of the best. The prices and portions are reasonable. I also very much like quiet places, and I don't know if it's the design of the room or what but even when much of the available seating is filled, it never seems to get terribly loud. Sunday mornings are very, very with the nearby churches and all. There is only one moderate, three very minor and one very trivial cons that I can think of. -Moderate The soft drinks almost always taste a little off. Not sure why, but it's persisted for quite some time. -Minor In the early to mid time of day, the glare off of the cars in the parking spots right up against the building can be pretty bad, however the staff will close the blinds if you ask them. And in all reality it's not their fault. Their sweet iced tea is far too sweet in my opinion. So unless you like that sort of thing, get unsweetened and use the packets. I hear that's a common southern thing however. It would be nice to see the mangers briefly interacting with the customers a bit more. But the service staff make up for it by being very friendly and helpful. -Trivial Lastly, I feel that the interior lighting is just a little too bright, but that's probably just me. read more

Went to Bob Evans on Saturday, March 22nd. I ordered the sunshine skillet When I was about half into my meal I noticed a cockroach cooked in my potatoes. Showed the assistant manager and he said "that's not suppose to be in there" and walked away with my plate. Waitress asked me if I would like to order something else, and there was no way I was going to order anything else from this restaurant. We were not charged for our meals, but there is no way I will be eating here again after finding a roach cooked in my food. Disgusting!!!! read more

We walked in Sunday morning 9:00 to the register to a faulty LED spotlight flashing like a friggen disco light. No staff on site smart enough to unscrew a light bulb. Server was a nice guy but, his service slow as molasses. When we got our food they forgot the gravy. The waiter never came back to the table until we were completely finished and only after I flagged him down. SORRY CHARLIE NO TIP FOR U .The cashier seemed tired , nobody there looked happy or helpful. Not going back. read more

I am a fan. Always had a very good experience. From their 3 egg Omelettes (the western is great) to The turkey dinners as well as the pot roast with mashed potatoes and carrots. Also the Banana Bread is a real treat. Yes there are elderly people there and the staff takes a beating sometimes but try being a little more friendly and kid around with them and see what happens. I am always able to turn a frown upside down with them. I feel it's worth the trip or at least worth giving them another try if you weren't satisfied. read more

I love this place! The food is consistent and the service is way above par. We eat here often for both breakfast and lunch and have no complaints about the friendliness of the servers, quality of the food or cleanliness of the restaurant. Wife and I came here after mass on Sunday. While we waited 15 minutes for a table customers that had finished their breakfast on the way out had said to the crowd of "waiters' "there is plenty of tables but not enough servers". After we got seated then it took 7 more minutes and no server came near us. We went up to a server and asked her to come and take our order and give us coffee. We then waited 30 more minutes before we received our breakfast which the crepes and eggs were cold. There were at least 10 empty tables in the restaurant but when we asked our server she said that many servers called in sick. This was the second week in a row that we had to wait about an hour before we got our breakfast and then both times it was cold. Maybe the corporate Office should take note of this as we live in the area and have been coming here a little over 4 years. We will not come back to Bob Evans as we think they can not handle the Sunday Morning crowd. Thank You read more
