Looking for great brunch/breakfast in Clermont? This is THE place. We put our names in during the farmers market on Sunday and waited about 20 minutes. This cute spot has charm, great service, and even better food. The crab and shrimp Benedict was incredible. They had a croissant instead of English muffins and it was a game changer. The hollandaise sauce had a citrus note that brightened the richness of the croissant and perfectly cooked shrimp and crab. We also tried the French toast which was good but not as impressive. They grill their muffins which sounds crazy but they were so tasty. The lightly crisp butter edges with the banana nut muffin was outstanding. The iced coffees were also super tasty, not too sweet. I love this place. We went back for my nephew's birthday brunch and a time was had. Between the birthday shout-out, the efficient AND friendly service from the staff, and the warm atmosphere, the cost of the food doesn't even matter. I'll keep going back, I feel like this is my place. They have good vegan/plant-based options. There is on-street parking in front of the restaurant. However, the spots fill up quickly, you might have to take a three minute walk... it's worth it. read more

So glad I stumbled across this spot! We spent the morning in Downtown Clermont and decided to try Cheeser's after reading an article and seeing all the great reviews. I was expecting a tiny café with limited seating, but it's much bigger--two dining rooms plus sidewalk seating. We went on a weekday, got seated right away, and the place stayed pretty steady. The atmosphere is warm and homey, and the service was excellent. Our server, Katie, was fantastic--friendly, helpful, and on top of everything. I love that their menu is packed with so many breakfast options, and not just the standard fare. They offer some really unique and creative dishes with ingredients like shrimp, crab, brie, asiago, asparagus, and even balsamic reduction. They've got Eggs Benedicts, omelets, scramblers, breakfast sandwiches, waffles, French toast, crepes, and even cheese plates--with multiple variations of each. It was honestly hard to choose because everything sounded amazing. I ended up with the Caprese Omelet (sausage, tomato, mozzarella, basil, and balsamic reduction), and it was divine. Such a perfect combo! Cheeser's is officially on our go-to breakfast list. Prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other similar sit-down breakfast spots. Highly recommend! read more

Took my dad in for breakfast. Nice people, cute little cafe. However, I ordered eggs Benedict and my eggs were so under cooked that my plate was liquid. I mentioned it to the server and he said I should have ordered them cooked a different way. I said, no matter how I ordered them the whites should have not been liquid. Excellent breakfast spot in downtown Clermont. For my first meal here I had a Western Omelette with their house potatoes and rye toast. Every aspect of this meal was was top shelf in my opinion starting with the Omellet which was well cooked where the onions, bell peppers and ham medley were sautéed before adding to the omelet which took the taste to the next level. Nice! Plenty of gooey cheddar on the inside where the omelet was cooked to perfection and was very very tasty. The house potatoes not to be outdone are swell seasoned wedge shape fries that are first baked and than fried on the griddle resulting in a very tasty crunchy potato that is a perfect complement to the omellet. Lastly my rye toast was a thick sliced bread that that is a step above the thin toast you typically get at most restaurants. Relative to staff and the facility, staff was very friendly with prompt service and excellent follow up throughout the meal, especially with the coffee top offs which is a pet peeve of mine. Facility has a bit of a rustic vibe, is very clean with plenty of seating to include an outside dining area along side the walk in front of the restaurant. Overall I was extremely pleased with my first dining experience here. Its the small details like sautéing your meat/vegetaibles, double baking/frying your potatoes and thick cut toast that speaks volumes about the quality of a restaurant and in this case they are telling me that this business sweats the details and puts the added effort in to ensure you get the best breakfast. All said, I am a big fan of this business and will definately be returning the next time I am in town. read more

OMG. The cheesy grits were SO GOOD. I'm gluten free and they had plenty of options. This was one of the best breakfasts I had on vacation this week. The menu is huge between lunch and breakfast. My all time favorite place! We have a home here but live in NJ and we don't get here as much as we would like but every chance I get I come here. Delicious food, wonderful service and such a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It never disappoints. The palace Cristo with Black Forest ham and Brie on French toast with strawberry jam was delish. Now this is a great breakfast find suggested by a local. Loved the cute street which also seems to have lots of weekend activities. The French toast made with challah stole the show. Though all the breads are so fresh here. The benedicts seem to also be award winning. I ordered a BBQ shredded chicken sandwich with spinach and artichoke dip. I never had it before so I thought I'd give it a try. It didn't work for me combined but when I deconstructed it and ate it open faced it was great. The slaw with the light dressing was exceptional. The service was impeccable! We had a guy and unsure of his name but everything you'd want a server to be, quick and efficient while being pleasant! The atmosphere is like a super cute diner that's been here forever. Now the food, my daughter and I are both vegetarian so we each got crepes of a different variety. Such a cute place! We aren't from the area and came after a friend recommended it and decided to pair it with the farmer's market and make it a morning. Our server, Emma, was so sweet. We ordered a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel (small $1 charge) and the crab Oscar Benedict. Both were amazing. I loved how the Benedict was served on a croissant, so it didn't feel like it was as heavy as a breakfast before walking around the farmers market. The prices were so reasonable, that we know the next time we are on that side of town we will be back! read more

We tried this, looking for a new breakfast spot in the area. This cafe has a small feel but is actually spacious. We went Saturday and actually went back again on Sunday. Because of the farmer's market, be prepared to wait. We tried the blueberry muffin French toast with eggs and bacon. I never thought about french toasting a muffin, and it was delicious. The next day we had the same with a chicken sausage egg scramble and cheese grits. It's rare that I don't have to fix up my grits but these were super flavorful and cheesy. Many locals recommended this breakfast place to us, so we were excited to try it. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the beginning. The table was dirty when we arrived, and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Our cutlery was also dirty, so we needed to request new sets. The service overall was not very friendly -- perhaps the staff were having a bad day. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, but instead of poached eggs, it came with fried eggs, which was unusual. The eggs themselves were cooked well, but the crab meat did not smell fresh, which was concerning. At the end, the change we received was also incorrect, but by that point I just wanted to leave and didn't mention it. Sadly, we won't be coming back. read more

I was eager to try Cheeser's Palace after seeing it recommended frequently in local Facebook groups as a great breakfast/brunch spot. I'm glad we can finally say we tried it, though it seemed just ok to me overall -- like a 3.5 out of 5. The cafe is a quaint little spot in the heart of downtown Clermont. We arrived on a busy weekend morning and had to wait about 15 minutes for a seat. No big deal as we got to explore the farmers market while we waited. However, once we were seated, we realized our hostess had only handed us lunch menus and were a bit confused since it was still early and we wanted breakfast. Our attentive waitress noticed and offered to bring us breakfast menus, clarifying that breakfast is served all day. I opted to build my own breakfast sandwich and my husband got the traditional breakfast. I thought the sandwich was fine but nothing to write home about. I ordered it with chicken apple sausage as the protein which was a bit tough. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal. We found the prices to be very reasonable. Our waitress was really sweet and provided great service, which earns this place a star or two. As for the food, unfortunately I don't know that I understand all the hype and wish my expectations weren't as high coming into this visit. read more

I'm always on the lookout for plant-based food and came across Cheeser's Palace Café that offers a vegan scrambler for breakfast. First, it was the most expensive thing on the menu, even more expensive than the seafood and the Benedict's. Second, I can't complain. Ha, I ate every bit of it, and I was pretty happy with it. Good coffee, the toast was awesome too , the server was cute and very nice and I wouldn't hesitate to go back there and have that breakfast again. Third I wish they had more options like a vegan Benedict, that would be awesome. They are outside seating, very cute little place. read more

We were in town visiting and saw amazing reviews for this restaurant so we had to try it. It was soooo good that we came back for breakfast twice!! We were seated right away both times. Our Server, Keshia, was fantastic! She had great recommendations. I ordered the Three Egg Scrambler with Smoked Gouda, Green peppers, onions, and mushrooms. It was the BEST Scrambler I've ever had. The potatoes are deliciously seasoned and the cinnamon raisin toast is so yummy! My husband had a breakfast sandwich on one day and the Cinnamon French toast the other day. Both entrees were delicious!! This is a super cute restaurant in Downtown Clermont with free parking and a beautiful lake located in walking distance from the restaurant (to walk off all your food!). Love the mis matched homey decor! Anticipating a very good breakfast! I wanted a Benedict. They serve theirs on a croissant. I opted for the traditional breakfast with Rye toast and cheesy potatoes! My plate arrived with three eggs and some wedge potatoes, soft on inside, crunchy on outside and two pieces of bacon. There ought to be a law about just two pieces of bacon on a breakfast plate. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted as if we were home. We were seated in a table for two and the chairs were so big lofty and comfortable. Very shortly after we sat down our waitress. Carol greeted us and took our drink order. We looked over the menu. It was hard to decide. There were so many delicious things to choose from but we finally decided. I chose the eggs Benedict, which was a wise choice. They prepared a bit differently there they make it on a croissant instead of an English muffin, and I wanted my Canadian bacon on the side and it was no problem whatsoever the hollandaise sauce was light and delicious, and my eggs were cooked to order the coffee was fantastic and again the service wonderful! Before we left, we ordered a cake for future event as they have a fantastic bakery on site with fresh baked goodies, cakes, and chocolates! I will be returning with my substitute erev Mother's Day as I know she will absolutely love it..... now to decide do we come for lunch or breakfast? Both menus are fantastic! read more

We visited Cheeser's for the first time on a Saturday a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it. They have a good sized menu and we ordered a breakfast sandwich on croissant ($11), a Traditional Benedict ($11), French Toast ($10) and coffees to drink. The servings are pretty big. I took half of my breakfast sandwich and breakfast potatoes home for another meal. Staff is friendly, nice and as attentive as we wanted. The dining room is split in two rooms and is larger than it appeared from outside. This is a great place for breakfast. read more

I can't believe it took me so long to try this restaurant! I went with friends, party of 6 l, on a Sunday so it was quite busy and we had to wait almost and hour. It was nice to be able to check the status of our weight time on the Yelp app. Once we received our table, we were seated and immediately greeted by our server Scott. He was fabulous! He got our drink orders and told us about the specials. All I can say is it was worth the wait. Everyone loved their food, the coffee was hot and plenty and the service from all the staff was incredible! I'm doing carnivore diet / BBBE challenge this month so my meal wasn't as exciting as everyone else's. But they were nice enough to box up the carbs (grits and cinnamon raisin bread) and the steak and eggs was delicious!
